Hi.There are 3 reasons.1.You had stored your contacts in google account and you logged out of that account in your phone.2.You had stored the contacts in your SIM card and you removed the SIM card from your phone.3.You had stored it in your phone and your phone got factory reseted.(It doesnt happen unless you do it.)Its always one of these reasons.Check the fixes for each of it below.Fixes1.Login to the google account that you had stored your contacts in.If you dotn know whic h google account,login to every google account you know.2.Insert the SIM card in your phone.3.There is no fix for this. They should have me as a saved contact (they are work people) and I used to see those profile pictures but now they have suddenly disappeared. Does anyone know if privacy settings for WA suddenly changed?As far as I know, WhatsApp’s settings don’t “suddenly change” or anything. Most likely those people either removed their profile pictures, changed their privacy settings or removed you from their contacts.If you’re sure none of the above has happened, try reinstalling WhatsApp and see if that fixes it. Also, check for WhatsApp updates. Maybe your app is bugging out for not being updated. If there are no updates and if reinstalling hasn’t fixed the issue, contact WhatsApp support about it and see what they tell you.You could also ask those people if they changed their pictures or something. Tell them about your problem with WhatsApp and see if it was them who changed something.
In WhatsApp, if a person is missing from the contact screen, does it mean I have been blocked or that the account has been deleted?
Very simple answer.No, if you’re blocked you will still be able to see the person in the contact list, but will not be able to see the status, story, display pic or send text.Also the more certain way to identify if the person has blocked you to send text, and wait for the single tick to become double. However if the account has been deleted the scenario will change and you will not be able to see the contact on the contact screen.
