How to deal with my tattletale cousins? (I need answers!!)?
Okay, I'm 15. I have three younger cousins. One of them is going to be 14 in July, the other one is 10, and the youngest is 6. They are MAJOR tattletales. They told on my brother (age 11) for touching the TV screen and saying the word stupid. Wtf??? Just yesterday, I did something really stupid. I got frustrated and said the word "fu*k!" to myself. I quickly apologized for it, and they still squealed on me. My mom took my phone away and she won't let me have it back until Friday morning. I was irresponsible, and I learned from my mistake. But how do I explain to them that no one likes a snitch? I've tried telling them that they won't have any friends if they snitch and that no one will like them. There's a difference between telling a teacher, "Johnny brought a gun to school," and "Johnny called me stupid." They always try to get me and my brother in trouble. My brother loves me and he thinks it's ridiculous what my cousins are doing. My younger cousin (the one turning 14) is going to be a freshman in high school next year. I'm going to be a sophomore. How can I get her to realize that she will see and hear things way worse? Sorry if this is so long, I'm just angry that they use everything they can to throw me under the bus.
Why are Filipino shows so corny and cringy to watch?
From my own point of view, I believe it Romantisces and Enhances what the culture already accepts. As an example, traits you see in Soap Operas and dating films/series:-Good looking, financially man meets attractive financially stable woman, immediately hit it off.-Each area is a perfect romantic setting, no rush of customers, no long waiting lines, and the perfect situation for a close and personal conversation, a complete opposite to the real central city life in Philippine.-If a fight occurs between the two protagonists, each goes to a family or friend whom gives them advice, or most likely will detour them from their feelings.-If the relationship is affected by an outside force it is usually the parents of one of the proagonists being overprotective and non accepting of the protagonists special other.-A massive conflict always occurs, and rather than talking it out, both profess feelings and they end happily.The culture is built around finding “prince charmlng” and in my own family my aunt has encouraged my female cousins to “"look for someone who treats you like a princess” which really shouldn't be the case. Yes each should respect the other but not treating them as above or beyond. It encourages that happy endings will always occur in relationships, and that you'll always find that “mr right” somehere down the line. They have to be over dramatic to appeal to the over romanticised culture that already exists, and each needs to replicate the other to be enjoyed and praised as the one before.I don't blame movie writers and the company for earning money, it's the job, I blame them for encouraging and falsiying how relationships and life in general is. Movies are escapism yes, but too much one theme in a movie can affect millions emotionally. Filipinos are emotional,and with a culture that romanticises those emotions and views even further, that is why the film and Tc industry doesn't stray. Because they've made it normal.
My 13 year old cousin is getting annoying?
My little cousin is the same way. But as a mature adult, I realize we have different tastes in clothes, conversation and lifestyle. O well. She's into designers, the latest styles, celebrities, going to the mall as much as possible, the hottest tv shows ect.... Me and my husband are pretty much minimalists, I make most of my clothes, which are classic styles, we live a very simple lifestyle, we grow a garden, we don't shop much, we don't even own a tv ect... Were pretty much polar opposites. However, she is my cousin, and I love her. I look at it as refreshing when she's around to see how different people live their lives. And I think its great we can all live differently, and how we chose to make us happy. It fascinates me why anyone would spend $500 on a single outfit, it amazes her I can create my own clothes. We find things to talk about we both like and share. Why not ask your little cousin about what she got on her latest shopping trip, then share something about your latest hobby. Stuff like that will be stuff any age can discuss, and it will bring you closer. Good luck!

What do you think of my favourite boy names (NEW)?
Loving the name Everett Schuyler John for its uniqueness and as soon as I saw it, it stuck out to me. Love the more masculine spelling of Schuyler (b/c I have a female cousin named Skyler Rose). I'm also really loving the names Henry Lucian Thomas as it seems like a very charming name and I also like Edmund Zachary James, Leo Sebastian August, and Jude Caspar Elliot. I am not liking the names Hugo Adrien Mathias and Enzo Christopher Gabriel. The reason is because for Hugo, I see it as a name for a child that will be teased all throughout high school (even though I love Hugo from the tv show Lost) and Enzo just may be a little too unique for my taste. With Alexander Matteo Charles, the name just doesn't pop out to me and there's nothing special about it. With all the other names, there is a unique sense to them and there are so many Alexander's in the world. What about trying Matteo Alexander Charles instead? Also with Maximilian Arthur Louis, I do like the name and the twist on the simple name of Max, but the name is quite a mouthful. Why do people think cooking is hard?
Some people don't have take the time for it. Like you said cooking takes time and practice and the fact that you started at an early age helps. Some families don't have that experience of cooking, they just go out or make something quick in the microwave. (My college friend's family did this with tv dinners all the time, my first tv dinner was at her house.) Everyone has their own "thing" mine is cooking, I went to school for it and I love doing it. My brother on the other hand isn't and one time he tried making something that I won in a food contest at school and was baffled when it didn't come out like he wanted. He cut corners, if he didn't have an ingredient he thought he could just go without or substitute it with something completely different, he also didn't pay attention to the oven and over cooked the food so it was quite dry. I know of a lot of people who do stuff like this and then they don't understand why things don't taste right. Some people just don't have the patience for cooking, but that's ok.
Why does my grandmother always talk bad about every single movie and TV show I watch?
Because old people feel good about rejecting the young (It's true: the old hate the young but they love Facebook! Tech PR Blog | Wildfire). Old people like to think young people have bad taste, and also, since stories and trending stuff change with time, the older population tends to reject treding stuff because it’s not what they like. It has happened to me that music teenagers listen to right now is not from my taste, but since I suffered and still suffer from this stupid discrimination from older people towards my own tastes -and from people my own age, even- , I try to not reject things that young people like. Also, I’ve had quite a few surprises by not rejecting things teengaers prefer. My young cousin, who’s 10 years younger than me, made me listen to One Drection one day and with time I started to like it. 1D members look like chiildren to me, but their music motivates me a lot, and romantic ballads from them have proved to survive in my Fave Songs list (“You & I” is beautiful as heaven).
