Has anyone enjoyed Dark Souls despite not enjoying Demon's Souls?
Dark souls and bloodborne are vastly different than demon souls, in terms of content and game mechanics.I do have a friend who is currently playing through demon souls and he feels it's more of a chore than it is enjoyable. He and I both started with bloodborne as our first souls series game, then jumped to dark souls 1, then to dark souls 3. We have yet to play dark souls 2 due to overwhelming negative reviews by dark souls “veterans” but will get to it eventually.Basically, Dark souls is objectively better. It improves on the enjoyable formula that demon souls created, while doing away with some of the lesser like and cumbersome mechanics, such as world tendency and soul form. It also has an updated physics engine so everything feels a lot more impactful. At this point, demon souls is pretty dated. It is a great game, but it's been outdone by its successors. Dark souls also featured a more balanced PVP (still crazy unbalanced but at least you won't get trolled by a dude breaking all your weapons and armor and stun locking you in a non damaging attack animation for 20 minutes straight) and also featured improved CO-OP. I'm actually not sure if demon souls had a coop feature.This next bit is my subjective opinion, but I feel bloodborne is the greatest of the souls series. It deviates from the norm set up by demon souls and dark souls 1&2 by introducing a whole new time period, with a whole new set of abilities in a very gothic/ horror themed world. The game is a lot more fast paced with more emphasis on offensive maneuvers due to its rally system and increased character speed. And the weapons, I don't even wanna mention anything about them, you need to see for yourself. I don't want to go on about bloodborne because I may never stop.Dark souls 3 is essentially in my opinion , a complete mix of dark souls 1, 2 and bloodborne. It has some of the most fan favored features from all previous titles wrapped into the game, essentially perfecting the formula. Some complain it's a little on the easier side compared to past titles, I'll have to agree on that. I am by no means a pro at dark souls, bloodborne maybe but not souls. But I had no trouble at all finishing dark souls 3 completely solo in about 40 hours, while finishing every secret area (to my knowledge, I went in blind).To finish, sure someone can like dark souls and not demon souls. Hell, most of the souls community like all the souls game except dark souls 2 really.
Is Dark Souls 2 really the worst Souls game?
Yeah… It is the worst Souls game.The reasons are simple.The gameplay is slow.Believe me, innovation is a GOOD thing. But Dark Souls 2 really does not know that.People say Dark Souls 1 is slow. It is. Dark Souls 1 is a slow game. But the enemies, and situations almost make you forget how slow everything is. The enemies can be really fast…. Gwyn may still be the fastest thing in any of the Souls games.But Dark Souls 2 takes SLOW to new levels. People did not like Dark Souls BECAUSE IT WAS SLOW, they liked it because it’s atmosphere was great… and the gameplay was good too.But Dark Souls 2, your stamina recharges SLOWLY, your health recharges SLOWLY, you walk SLOWLY, you dodge SLOWLY, healing in general is SLOW.Point is, if this wasn’t an official Souls game, people would hate it a lot more.The Slowness of this game ties into my next point:2. Enemies are so darn simple.Picture this: You run into a bad guy. Odds are, this bad guy is only going to have at least 2 attacks. Very rarely will you come upon an enemy that has even 3 attacks.To compensate, you will run into vast CROWDS of enemies, all doing 1 move, to make it seem more difficult than it is.This lack of variety carries into bosses as well. Bosses are incredibly boring to fight, the only difference between them and normal enemies is that they have larger health pools…. and probably 1 more move. So, one of the best parts of Dark Souls 1 has now become one of the worst parts of Dark Souls 2.But really…. Those are the only 2 reasons why Dark Souls 2 is the worst souls game.

Short answer: Not ReallyLong answer:A large part of what makes Dark Souls difficult is a lack of guidance early on meaning that new players tend to struggle until they either get help, give up or figure everything out. Most of the “Dark Souls is hard” talk tends to come from someone who hit a brick wall early on and never managed to topple it.Other than a few notes via the medium of floor, there really isn’t much explanation of the game’s mechanics. There is no real explanation for things like poise, stability, stats, scaling, upgrading, humanity, kindling, returning to human, i-frames, etc. Things such as vendors, key items and most weapons are generally hidden and can easily be missed if you don’t know what to look out for.Combine this with a game that punishes greediness, impatience, lack of focus and laziness and you have a game that is punishing to new players.However once you get a feel for the game it actually becomes pretty easy since the game is about pattern recognition and basic mechanical skill. Learn the boss’s tells, block at the right time , level up enough, upgrade your weapons, get the right rings for the situation, kindle the appropriate bonfire and suddenly things that seemed like brick walls are now more like paper mache walls. The game is also designed in such a way that most of these acquired through natural progression if you are paying attention.I say this as someone who is barely average at Dark Souls and yet I have managed to finish it to NG +7 and have unlocked all the trophies/achievements twice.

Is 3.6 mbps internet speed is enough to play games online on ps3?
dunno why people have the misconception that gaming takes up large amounts of bandwidth, if online games took 10mbps (like the 2nd guy thinks) and you played 1 hour per day and did nothing else online that would be around 1.1 terabytes of data used every month - no individual uses that much certainly not your average gamer. in reality games use very little data just about every (non mmo) game will use well under 100KBps so as long as no one is performing data intense tasks such as streaming high def video at the same time 3.6mbps will be fine. The only downside to a slow connection is that downloading games dlc and large patches can take a long time. as for games bf3 would be the obvious choice for an fps dark souls (RPG) is awesome if you dont mind the challenge but it depends on what genre you're looking for. ps servers are fine as well btw i have both a 360 and a ps3 and if anything suffer with more connection problems on xbl

What video games are best for a person new to gaming?Well the best are going to be the games that have high replay value, graphics that push the limits on hardware, and would blow the consoles out of the water. So the main games that people like to bring up are Shadow of Mordor, The Witcher 3, CSGO, Overwatch, Minecraft, ect. But you specifically asked role player games and strategy games. I personally enjoyed Civilization 5&6, but those games usually were too short and random. Age of Empires 2 is a old one, but a goody. I would advise you to play Dark Souls 3, Witcher 3, Skyrim with mods, Fallout 4, and Civilization 5. And if you wanted to try some free games; Warframe, League of Legends, Team Fortress 2, and Fallout Shelter.
What do think about the Nintendo Online Service only having cloud saves for certain games, instead having it for all of them?
Even though most games support cloud saves, I think it’s dumb whcih games DON’T support cloud saves. They could easily make it work for more of the games. In Splatoon 2, for example, Nintendo’s reason for not having cloud saves is that it would allow people to cheat, and mess up the online leaderboard. Which would be a fair reason, except for two reasons. One, people already hack and cheat on the online leaderboard just to show Nintendo how easy it is, and let Nintendo know it’s something that needs to be fixed. Two, Nintendo could simply make it where cloud saves don’t effect the leaderboard. The other first party games that don’t have cloud saves (at least that I know about) are the Pokemon Lets Go! games, and I don’t know why there aren’t cloud saves on those games.
