Does everyone with bipolar end up in a MH hospital?

i have recently been diagnosed with bipolar, and been told to read up on it given the meds etc but the more i read and the more forums i go on and read what people say it jus seems that everyone goes into hospital at some point which then makes me question if i really am bipolar!? i dont do anything that can end up me goin into hospital most of the time im stable (before i was on meds) i have the lows and the highs but nothing extreme! my dad has bipolar and oher than having a breakdown like over 30yrs ago he has never been in hospital, not even for his breakdown it wasnt severe o that bad so i am told..

guess im confused.. i jus feel so normal when i read how other people are..
