My Daughter Will Not Sleep And Wont Stop Crying

My 18 month old wont stop crying and wont sleep. Is nyquil ok to give her?

Do NOT give your toddler adult medicine.
She may be teething, and if so then you can give her infant Tylenol, baby orajel and/or teething tablets - it will ease the pain and allow her to sleep.
If she is not in pain though then you need to find out what is causing this.
Is she hungry? Thirsty? Is her diaper changed? Is she too tired? Does she feel ignored? Did she have a bad dream recently? Is she afraid of the dark?
There could be many reasons why a child is crying and won't sleep.
If you don't think that teething is the problem then find out what else is going on.
She may just need to be loved on.
You may also want to check her temperature to rule out being sick.

My kitten won't stop crying!!!?

I found a kitten. The vet said its 4 weeks old. During the day he/she roams around the house. But when I leave or when I go to sleep I put it in a closet so it doesn't go potty in my house. But I can't sleep because it cries all night. Is there anything I can do to make it happy? My friend said she needs toys but I can't afford them. HELP!

My daughter won't stop crying and screaming in the middle of the night?

Try noise canceling headphones you morbid creep.

16 month old wont stop crying?

She's at an age to be breaking through teeth, and that can cause a LOT of jaw and ear pain. If she's not running a fever, but seems generally cranky and doesn't want to be soothed, it could be tooth related. Our kids have gotten relief with over-the-counter pain relievers, and sometimes a bit of a decongestant (helps open up the Eustachian tubes that drain her ears at the back of the throat, and that relieves ear pain a LOT.)

If she's fevered, and won't take fluids, etc, it would be worthwhile to take her in to be seen, though.

Poor thing! Teeth, earaches... being small can be miserable, and it's hard on the parents, too.

My one year old son won't stop crying and hasn't been sleeping or eating, help!?

I am at a loss. My son for the past three days has been crying, not eating, and sleeping only tiny spurts at a time. He has cried so much his voice is hoarse. I have tried tylenol, thinking he's having problems with teething. Didn't work. I have tried letting him sleep in bed with me, thinking he needed comfort, didn't work. He will only eat his yogurt in the morning and then spit everything else out. He will drink no problem. I don't know what to do. He wants to be comforted and soothed every minute of the day. He is screaming at this very minute but I am unable to calm him. What should I do? He is usually a fun happy baby who loves to chase his sisters around. Now, he's angry, upset, and frustrated with whatever. He has even started hitting his head against things if I don't respond to him. What could be the problem?! He's only one for pete's sake. Should I take him to the doctor?

My 6 month old won't stop crying?

I would make an appointment with your doctor tomorrow because it sounds to me that there is something wrong. It could be an ear infection. Did she have a cold lately. She could get an ear infection from that as well as from teething.

When my son has an ear infection all he does is cry even when I am holding him. That is when I know there is something wrong and generally it is an ear infection.

If your doctor can't see you tomorrow I suggest taking her to the hospital. You don't want her to suffer anymore then she has already. Since you are awake anyway go to the hospital now. It may help you be able to sleep tomorrow.

Good Luck

I hope you daughter feels better soon.

What can you do to make a child stop crying?

Pacifiers. Baby bottles. Breastfeeding. Walking the aisle. Singing. Reading to them. Rocking. Playing with the baby. These are things a parent can do.Things a passenger with a problem with crying babies can do: get earplugs. Take sleeping pills. Get drunk and pass out. Get his neck wrung by sympathetic passengers.Babies on a flight are as much out of their comfort zone as you are, maybe more, because they don’t understand WHY they don’t have their bed, blankie, toys and other known things. They don’t know why their ears hurt, their tummy aches, their head hurts now that Mommy and Daddy have put them in this odd thing that makes a LOT of noise and shakes terribly. Despite everything Mommy and/or Daddy or other caregiver does, sometimes there’s no consoling for the fear they feel, or how sick they are. If you don’t have good earplugs or noise dampening earphones, you should remind yourself that you were a baby once (I think; sometimes I wonder with some of you!) and there were times you cried inconsolably unless you were the most perfect baby in the universe. I’m sure even baby Jesus had some really good howls that drove his parents mad when they fled on the donkey to Egypt!Point is, babies cry on planes. Adults are uncomfortable on planes unless you have the money to ride in First Class. The rest of us are crammed like sardines in a can and have to put up with people sniffling, hocking up a lugie, coughing, fidgeting, overlapping into our seat space, snoring, body odors and all sorts of horrible problems. Hell, when I flew back from Juneau, AK to Anchorage, I had a way overweight passenger on one side and a way hungry teenager on the other who wolfed down his supper and eyeballed mine until I gave up and gave him my meal serving by serving, he was so hungry! So I starved all the way back home, cramped in my seat and sweating profusely from a building panic attack over so many people on the damn plane. I barely heard the wailing babies, and in the back on my mind I felt bad for the poor kiddos. So please have some understanding and try to help rather than cause more problem.

My fish has recently died and my 6 year old daughter won't stop crying. How can I help her?

Did you seriously just ask how to kill your daughter?I am going to assume how to do get her to stop crying but just so you know the way your question is worded could causes you a lot of serious trouble and visit from law enforcement/CPS so I would suggest you fix your question.
