I want to get my dog neutered, boyfriend disagrees! Help!?
I have a 7 month mini dachshund, and i love him dearly! I am planning on getting him neutered in the next few weeks, but my boyfriend doesn't think it's right. I really need some ideas so that I can change his mind! The dog was bought by both of us, belongs to both of us, but lives with me. I bought the dog so that I could have a companion, NOT to breed him. I don't know if he doesn't want to get him neutered because he wants to breed him some day, or if it's just a man-type thing. all I know is he thinks the procedure will hurt our dog. I tried explaining that there are so many puppies & dogs homeless and in shelters, and being put down because of people being irresponsible breeders. If i wanted to be a breeder, I would want to do it responsibly, but I don't know how to even start with that, i don't know what to do, don't have the time, money to put into it. I don't think he understands what a Backyard breeder even is... PLEASE give me ideas of what I can tell him, how i can convince that it is the right thing to do to keep our pup safe and healthy! If you don't have balls enough to stand up to this creep, give me his name and address, I will call and report him for animal cruelty. Call you animal warden and don't wait till this jerk hits you or any kids you may have to him. All he is going to do it create an highly aggressive dog.
My dog bit at my baby ?
I let my bichon frise sit on The floor next to me while i was holding and feeding my 7 week old daughter and the dog was being very good he started to sniff and kiss her foot and then he bit her ! I'm so angry at him and i don't understand why he would do that ? He gets attention and rewarded for his good behavior when he I's next to her and she I's never alone with him she I's always on my lap ... but as for the dog he seriously flip the script! So mad thankfully my daughter didn't get hurt ! Why would he do that ? He has never bit anyone before . What can I do to teach him to be a better dog ? He also marks his territory I'n the house and has been neutered.. Any tips on what to do about my situation ? Thank you

My husband and I were married many years and had been through several years of working animal rescue together. Well, more like I worked rescue and he tolerated it and helped me when I insisted.One day we got into a huge argument. He decided he was going to put his foot down (not likely). He said he was done being made to “feel as though the dogs and parrots came before him in his own house that he worked to pay for with the sweat of his own brow”. I was given an ultamatum, a choice….”the dogs go or I go”.Well, first off, I don’t do ultamatums, i don’t take orders, and don’t allow men to push me around as though they own me. It’s happened to me once in a very bad first marriage and it will never happen again. So, I told him,“When we got married you knew who I was, what I needed to be happy, who I would be in the future, we weren’t children. If what I do is too much for you, if I am too much for you, then take a walk. This is who I am, and what I need in my life to be a whole person. YOU are not the entirety of my life and never will be. Accept that or leave. I did not need you when we met, I do not need you now. I stay because I want to. You should too. Choose.”Then I went out for awhile, a few hours later I came home, he was still there. I made coffee, and we had dinner we were married another 17yrs. I continued working rescue for all those years and he continued helping me. DO NOT give up what you love for anyone, because you give up who you are. If you do that they take away little pieces of your soul. Then you are not who they fell in love with and the day will come when they will look at you and not know you anymore. It will be your own fault for giving in so easily. Either fight for the bits of your soul, or leave. Because believe me when I tell it is only the beginning with the dog.
My dogs growls and bites when you wake him up...?
He sleeps in our bed with my wife and I along with another dog. When one of us rolls over or even moves a foot, he gets angry and growls, He has even bit me before (a light nip). Sometimes he will fall asleep in my lap and start to slide off onto the floor, when I pull him back up he gets angry and growls. Any other time, he is as sweet as he can be. I assume he is afraid that he is going to get kicked or rolled over when he's in the bed so he growls to let us know he's there. This seems like a difficult thing for a behavior expert to fix since he has to be asleep in order to see the problem. It was just a funny quirk of his until he started biting. Now we are worried that it could turn into a problem. We want to have kids some day. Does anyone have a suggestion how we can fix this?
My dog bites me when I laugh at him?
Whys this? he goes mad n starts biting, growling, ragging and jumping up at me every time I laugh at him. He's nearly two and he's a cross breed between a doberman and a collie. Also he bites are slippers and shoes all the time when we are wearing them is he trying to tell us something? and he also rags are clothes when there on us too. Please help.
Is my Dog mad at me for leaving him at a kennel during our vacation?
Dogs definitely get sad, but their memory is not as long as ours. There emotions are in the instant. He could be feeling a bit poorly from a different routine, different water, different people. If he was really happy to see you when you got back, like jumped up and down in happiness when he saw you, he is definitely not mad - he will have forgotten all about it by now! If he was listless when he saw you, he could be ill. If he was excited to see you, and seems healthy, but now has gone a bit withdrawn, make sure you look at your own behaviour. Act as normal as possible cos you can transfer what you think he might be feeling onto him, more or less making him sad, because he can be confused as to why you are not normal! Confusing, but just give him heaps of cuddles and your normal doggie loving routine -take him to his favourite places and a nice bonding walk and he should be fine.
My brother was bit 2 times by a mad dog, which also bit another child 5 minutes before biting him, what can happen? Do you have any suggestions?
GO TO THE NEAREST HOSPITAL ASAP.MOST LIKELY INFECTIOUS DISEASE CENTER.Dogs don’t serially bite people out of thin air.
