My Dog Is Under My Shed And Wont Come Out Help

How to get my cat out from under shed?

I have an indoor cat who has escaped and is now hiding under my shed. He has escaped before and come back...but what worries me right now is it is snowing! I think the snow has scared him and he wont come out. The snow is also not going to stop for about 18 hours(more than a foot expected). I have tried to lure him out with food(wet food, dry treats and Tuna) which he usually loves...but he wont come out! What can I do? He is obviously frightened

MY DOG IS STUCK UNDER A SHED FOR 2 HOURS!!!!!!????? HELP!!! PLZZZZ!!!?

It is impossible for a dog to become pregnant if she has been spayed. In my veterinarian technician school, they tell us that is literally the only thing you can guarantee a client.
As far as getting her out, just check her out with a flash light. If she doesn't appear hurt, or can move freely, let her be. Pounding of the shed didn't help.

HELP! My cat is stuck under my shed and he won't come out!?

Ok, so my adorable cat, Camino, will NOT come out from under the shed. We have a really long and wide shed, but it isn't more than 5 inched off the ground. He somehow wiggled himself in there, and won't come out. He CAN move, but no matter how many contraptions were built or lures were set, he WON'T come out! We've tried water, catnip, food, and toys. No luck. HELP!

How long does a pom shed?

at 4 months she is shedding her puppy coat and growing into her a adult coat - this can take as long as a 2 to 3 months depending on how long it takes for her coat to grow in - if it takes a long time, shedding usually won't be in clumps like the seasonal shedding. seasonal shedding is usually twice a year and come out in big heaps usually after winter and after summer to grow in the winter coat. however, dogs will still shed throughout the year, just not as crazy as those seasonal ones.

Would my dog be dead by now if she ate chocolate?

My brother had one of those chocolate oranges, and when I came home I saw the box chewed up on the floor, but my dog is just fine. Do you think shed be in real bad shape if she ate it?

Dogs (pets): Can I make my dog wear clothes to prevent shedding?

Dogs do not have sweat glands like humans do. They can only let heat off through their nose, paw pads and tongue. While there are times putting clothes on a dog is a good thing such as a coat for a Weimaraner who is on a winer holiday in Colorado when she normally is hiking in Southern California. However, this would not prevent shedding. And in some cases depending on climate, the clothing could cause overheating and or a danger should the dog try to get it off and get caught in it or hung up on something. That being said, there are people who dress their dogs routinely. The dog is used to it and supervised. Still, it does nothing for shedding.

How much do Samoyeds shed? How do you control it?

They shed A LOT. However much you think they shed, they'll shed more. When I was a kid, our next door neighbor had a Samoyed that they left out in the backyard in the blazing heat of summer. (These days, I'd probably say something to the neighbors, and call Animal Control if they didn't change things, but this was a long time ago and I was a kid.) One day I went over to pet the dog and started pulling out the tufts of shedding fur. It came out in big clumps that looked like hamburger-sized cotton balls (well, I was a kid, maybe they were only slider-sized). I did this for about 1.5 hours before I gave up. Their yard was full of balls of fur and the dog looked the same, with still more clumps waiting to be pulled out. I've always wondered what the neighbors thought when they came home and found their yard looking like a pillow factory had exploded. As to how to control it... I'm not sure. There's a type of pet comb called a Furminator that pulls out a lot of the undercoat (the part that sheds). I think the idea is that if you get it all out when grooming, it won't come out all over your carpet. But we're probably talking hours of grooming. You might be able to tell from my photo that my dog doesn't need a Furminator.

My dog sheds like crazy but no hair comes out in the shower or brushing, should I shave him with clippers?

Try the Furminator

My dog had her puppies underneath the shed: if i leave them there will they be wild?

The space is really small so crawling under there would be harsh. I'm worried that if I leave them until they crawl out they won't be familiar with humans.

But if I touch them now I might interrupt my dogs bonding with her puppies.

Also, I've bred her for the sake of having puppies so it isn't a spay that I'm asking about.
What would you do?

How can we get my dog out from under the deck?

She sounds overwhelmed by being in a strange place and unfamiliar people. Hiding is a natural response to this. If there's no danger of her escaping the yard, let her hide until she's ready to come out. Don't corner her under the deck or she may bite because she feels she has no other option to back you off out of her flight zone. A dog that is stressed or frightened is not going to be interested in even the most delectable treats. I had to deal with a rescued Aussie like that. I just got comfortable sitting on the ground on the porch and reading a book until he was ready to come out on his own. When he did I spoke to him in a soft, calm voice but didn't look at him. With my nose in the book, I apparently seemed nonthreatening enough to him that he ooched closer and closer until I could give him a gentle chest scratch by reaching behind me, still not looking at him. Sura may require an approach like this as well. During this time it's better if you and she are the only ones out there.

If it is truly necessary to extract her more quickly, I agree with the other poster who suggest borrowing a catch pole from the animal shelter to get her out without danger to her or to you. Then you can turn her loose in a bedroom and give her a place to hide where she feels safe, such as under a bed or in a closet. You'll have the luxury of time to let her come out on her own at that point.
