My Dog Keeps Getting Into The House And Peeing Everywhere.

Why does my dog and cat keep peeing everywhere?

Both dogs and cats are ‘scent markers’. They're possibly having a ‘who’s boss’ war.Do you have a litter tray for the cat? If not, I'd get one as soon as you can and use a good quality litter. In my experience, it does make a difference. It's important to keep the litter clean - they're fussy little monsters. If it's not clean, they'll do their business elsewhere. Also, the litter tray should be located well away from the cats feeding dishes. They tend not to ‘go’ near where they eat.Regarding your dog, it seems that you need to train / re-train your dog. Positive reinforcement is the only truly effective way. Praise and treat the dog when he/she relieves itself in an appropriate place - at the time. Split second timing is important when training dogs. Other than a very gentle, under the breath NO, don't reprimand the dog. Even then, only do it if you catch the dog in the act. If you try to do it later, your dog won't understand and you could make the problem worse as the dog will become nervous.Hopefully, if your dog starts to toilet somewhere appropriate, the ‘who’s boss’ war will end, along with the accompanying odours.Good luck with this which must be very unpleasant for you.

Help! Dog keeps on peeing everywhere inside the house. my house smells like pig pen.?

I adopted a 10 month old female Pomeranian. She is not house broken, she pees everywhere, whenever she wants. I take her in the morning and wait for her to do her thing, problem is she has already done the deed during the night as I will wake up and see pee and poop waiting for me to clean. I take her ouside after dinner too and few other times during the day but she wont do it. I have a poodle and I used the technique when he was a puppy, he never does number 1's or 2's it inside. Even when I take her for a walk she wont do it. I even had puppy training pads which I spray with this stuff so dogs are attracted to that area, she stays away from it and even jumps off it if i put her on it like she doesnt like the paper. Its although she waits till she gets inside on the carpet which she is familiar with and does her thing. Im running out of ideas. My house has carpet throughout it and it reeks! Helppppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dog keeps peeing EVERYWHERE !?

Many people don't realize that training is an ongoing forever thing. You don't just train and the dog remembers. The dog remembers as long as training is reinforced every single day. If the dog doesn' ASK to go out, you take him out anyway. If at all possible, a good schedule would be a 45 minute walk every early morning, a comfort walk at11am, a comfort walk at 4pm and one last long walk (no less than 1/2 hour) before 9 pm. It is also a good idea to take different routes and not do the same walk day in and day out.
In answer to the other part of your question, an unneutered male WILL mark more than a neutered male. But if your dog has been doing this for as long as you say, it is also an ingrained habit and probably some sort of emotional release as well. So neutering now will probably help, but don't forget that training is necessary too...you may have to really be on this for a while to catch him as he starts to mark..and stop him. You will get to recognize the signs,...circling, sniffing, starting to squat or lift his leg...and you stop him right there and take him out.
It is not as easy a solution as just neutering...need to train too.

Why is my pregnant dog peeing everywhere?

Could be the puppies keep getting on her bladder and make her go. And yes it can have to do with it being close to time to deliver. She might not be able to empty her bladder all the way because the puppies are in the way and then when they push on her bladder she wets. Good luck.

How do I make my dog stop peeing everywhere?

I have a male Chihuahua, he's not a puppy anymore and he can't come in the house without peeing everywhere. As soon as he comes in he goes around the whole house and sprays everything. I want him to be an indoor dog but I can't handle all that nastiness.

He won't pee in his crate & I do take him out to pee before he comes in the house but he'll do it again indoors regardless. HELP.

My dog keeps peeing in the house at night?

There are only so many options you can choose from... Crate training would be the best idea. Dogs actually like their crates most of the time! My dog loves his crate and does not mind being put in it.

Other options to crate training are you can secure the dog in a small area with puppy pads. When he has an accident not on the puppy pads move the pad to where he had the accident. The dog will start to associate the puppy pad with where he should go. After the dog grasps the concept of the puppy pads start taking them away 1 by 1. If the dog has an accident replace them. This takes a lot of time and actually did not work for me. Crating worked the best. My dog now sleeps with me and I just have to be sure to let him out right when we wake up.

Hope this helps.
