My Dog Miss Me While Im Sleeping

Why does my dog stare at me while I'm sleeping?

I've noticed this, too. Sometimes i wake up in the middle of the night to hear light-foot dog steps walking through the house. Is he thirsty? Nah. Gotta urinate? Maybe, but most likely no. Cant sleep? Nope, he's really good at snoozing. So what does he do? He checks all windows, doors, and vents to make sure there is no way for dangerous animals (especially humans) and bugs to get in. At the end of his rounds he walks up to my bed, lays his head on my bed since i don't let him on my bed, and sits there for a minute.I'm not an animal behaviorist, but I'm pretty sure there are two possibilities. He needs something from you, but is too afraid to wake you.He is checking you see if you're breathing and if any dangerous folk have hurt you.

Does your dog Stare at you while your sleeping?

hi friend thats completely normal particularly husky. i have a husky too and she does it all the time. they r just like kids. have u ever noticed kids waiting for their parents to be up and look after them. huskies are the same. the wake up b4 we do. but they wait for us. even for food, for their natures call, their playing stuffs or for even food. they will wait for us starring at us. strangers might b afraid of it. but its completely normal. coz huskies are a good companion to humans.

Why does my dog pee on me while I'm sleeping?

I have a 7 month old American Eskimo/Husky mix and he has peed on me twice this month while I was sleeping on my bed. He is neutered and he is completely potty trained. I know its not right for your animals to sleep with you and I should've learned by now but I wash everything on my bed once a week and I have a vinyl mattress cover. I just don't really like waking up covered in urine. I have no idea why he would do this because he goes pee outside every night before bed. He also has a crate in my bedroom which is usually where he falls asleep with the crate door open, then later he will crawl in bed with me. But I don't want this peeing to become a habit!

Why does my dog stare at me when im sleeping?

Why does my dog stare at me when I'm sleeping?

I have a two year old german short haired pointer, we adopted her from a shelter when she was 7 months old.Me and her have a very close relationship she always sleeps in my bed and is also very protective of me, but she knows that I'm in charge.I've been woken up by her just standing next to me and staring at me, it's quite creepy to be honest. Why does she do this?

Why do I miss my dog so much at college?

I've been at college for a few weeks now and I've made some friends and am doing well in my classes. I miss my family, but I really miss my dog. She's 12 years old with some health problems and I'm worried that she's going to get sick or worse while I'm gone. I was always her favorite and my parents are telling me she's always sad and looking for me.

I can't sleep at night because she would sleep at the foot of my bed and now I have to put a bunch of pillows there to make it feel like she's there. I just miss her and I know she misses me and that makes it harder.

Should I let my dog sleep on my bed? Why/why not?

I’m going to take a different approach here…First understand this: dogs are pack animals and they look up to you as the pack leader. So they want to be close to you! If you don’t let them sleep with you, at least offer them a nice doggie bed or blanket on the floor next to your bed.As for the pros and cons to letting them sleep IN the bed?I hate to say it but it really depends…Potential “ickys”Like others here have said, dogs don’t have shoes. So if you don’t bother to wipe down their paws or give them frequent baths after long walks outside, then you do tend to get a lot of dirt and other not-so-hygienic stuff laying next to you or on your pillow. Also, if you don’t keep up with properly grooming your dog and if the breed is prone to shedding, then you’re going to have a lot of hair on the sheets.Potential “benefits”Circadian rhythms: dogs thrive on routine and make excellent alarm clocks which ensures humans usually get better sleep. The presence of a dog (you know they love to live in the moment), they are a great partner to practice mindfulness and stillness. I love waking up to cuddles. There’s something special about being close to my pooches.Dogs have sleep cycles much similar to that of humans in that they go into REM (8–12% of their time is spent there) source: How Much Do Dogs Sleep and How Many Hours Does Fido Really Need Per Day? (The ANSWERS may surprise you!)In the link above I included, there’s also some studies showing cuddling with your dog released a hormone called oxytocin in humans and dogs! [1]It helps form bonds and reduces stress to promote a restful night! Also consider some dogs have anxiety and other sleep disorders so keeping them close to you may benefit both you and the pup!Now puppies are a bit different, so I only speak of adult dogs here.To avoid “messes” always feed earlier in the day, set routines and take them outside at night before bed. Also, coming back to the messy dog paws point, if you walk your dog on pavement a lot or on messy areas in an urban environment, just take a damp towel and wipe down their paws - this really helps minimize the mess inside the house! If your primary concern is yucky messes in the bed, just follow the steps above and you are good to go!Or just get a doggy bed close to you and train your pooch to stay down there :)Hope this helped!!Footnotes[1] How Much Do Dogs Sleep and How Many Hours Does Fido Really Need Per Day? My boyfriend is angry because I let my dog sleep inside the bedroom. Is he right to be angry?

So far us dog people agree as well as us who prefer to set the rules in our own homes. That doesn't mean his feelings should be of no consequence though. If he's an otherwise great guy this is a good opportunity to practice compromise. You don't want to let a guy come in your house and dictate what goes on but say he's got allergies. A pet of any kind would irritate that but sleeping close by would make it worse. If the guy has a good reason to object he should state it and you should consider it.My dogs always lived and slept inside with me too. My boyfriend is a farm guy so animals don't live inside. Period. When I came to live here I thought I would miss my dogs wiping their dog boogers on my pillows. Chewing up my brush. Staring at me while I eat. Walking in front of me and stopping in the dark hallway while I'm carrying laundry but I don't miss living with my dogs. To be fair, my dogs are big and stink and not well behaved exactly but didn't poop in the house. That's about the best I can hope for out of my dogs. My dogs love their heated and air conditioned back porch with a dog door. They don't miss me either. But it sounds like your dog isn't a problem dog so our situations aren't identicle. You can't have your boyfriend running your house though. Your dog is part of your house. He's the guest. He should be accomdated but not dictate. Relationships are compromise. They are wonderful when compromise can be achieved. Everyone can be accomodated but never to a dispropotional extent. If you start giving in immediately you will find yourself giving in all the time.
