My Emails Box Not Opening Correctly

Yahoo mail sort by sender not working properly either?

It appears to be their new ugly design.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-New-Yahoo-Mail-Gets-Infinite-Scrolling-Preview-Pane-to-the-Right-358793.shtml:

"With infinite scrolling, there are no longer pages in your inbox. Press the arrow button if you need to go back."

How stupid. What about users having hundreds or thousands emails in the inbox or other folder?

I would suggest moving to Google Mail. Maybe they care more about their users than Yahoo does...

My yahoom mail is not loading properly what's the problem?

try going to the gear on the top right while looking at your mailbox if you can get in to see the list of mail, then go to Settings, then Security. Check the box that that says use HTTPS. I did that and can now open my emails, after a week of not being able to. My problem was fixed after doing that.

My Yahoo mail is not working correctly?

My Yahoo Mail has worked OK for years, but ever since the mail system went down last Thursday, my email has not been working correctly. When I try to send an email, a box that says "loading" starts blinking at the top of my page. After a few seconds, it goes away, but the email stays on that same unsent email page. If I click on any other folder button, such as the inbox, the "inbox" box appears and blinks for about 10 seconds, but nothing else happens, and it does not go to my Inbox. I have to clink on another link, and go back to yahoo mail to get to the inbox. From there, I can check my sent email folder, the email is sent. I also cannot attatch images to an email, with the same "loading" thing happening. I have recently changed to IE9 as suggested by yahoo. Could that be the culprit? I have also already switched to Yahoo classic mail, and that did not help. Any help would be appreciated.

Why are the icons in my Yahoo Mail not showing up?!?

You could switch browsers and see if that helps.
Also you could have a corrupt cookie. Clear the browser cache of cookies, temp files and history. Click Ok and Restart the computer.
Make sure your JavaScript and adobe flash is updated

Calendar reminders not working!?

Everyone seems to be having a problem with Calendar lately. Reminders not working. Try this to reinforce them.
1. Click on the Calendar Tab at the top of your address book.
2. Click on the "Options" link in the upper right.
3. Click on "Reminders."
4. Ensure that all boxes are still set as you entered them originally, then click "Save" again.

Note: Found this in a previous answer.
Please check to ensure that the email address "reminders@reply.yahoo.com" is not listed under the blocked addresses section of your Yahoo Mail Account. Calendar reminders come from that address.

Problem is, I checked my blocked addresses list and it wasn't in there, but after I did the steps mentioned above, they started working again. ???

Is it a crime to open a piece of mail delivered to your address with someone else's name on it?

Yes it is a FEDERAL CRIME to open mail that is not addressed to you. That being said, it is, according to law, to accidentally open someone else’s package because you assumed it was for you because it was delivered to you. BUT, if you throw out the packaging and keep the contents then you are committing another felony…larceny. The contents don’t belong to you and it wasn’t addressed to you…double whammy. Two felonies in one shot. This happened to me. I ordered some gifts for my daughter on Amazon for last Christmas and they were delivered on Sunday…but being Sunday, they didn’t use my normal mailman but a temp and he delivered it two houses down. They opened the package, threw out the box and kept the items for over a week…on top of that, they had the gall to call the police on me and kept me waiting in subzero temperatures while they went to find my daughters gifts. It was not a pleasant way to meet new neighbors. They recently moved in and I have been living here for over 27 years…I could have pressed charges against them…

Why does my email go to my Trash Box?

You, or a hacker, might have set up filters which caused the email to be sent to the Trash folder or to another folder within your Yahoo! Mail account. To check:
Go to the gear icon on the upper left of the e mail page and click on it and select Mail Options. Then on the left side, click Filters. If there are filters listed ensure they're not set to prevent receiving emails from senders that you want to receive mail from, and sending mail to trash.

Edit or remove filters
How to remove or edit email filters and resolve problems you may have with receiving specific emails.
Resolution
Filters can be helpful in organizing your email, but if you don't set them up correctly they can also cause you problems.
To check your email filters:
1. Click the gear icon ( ) in the upper-right corner of the window, and select Mail Options from the menu that appears. (In Mail Classic, select Options | Mail Options.)
2. Select Filters from the bar on the left.
3. If any filters display, check them carefully for the following problems:
• Are any of the filters set to "Does not contain"? For example, this filter will send many emails to the Trash folder: If the sender does not contain 'Yahoo!', move the message to Trash.
• Are any of the filters very broad? For example, this filter will send many emails to the Trash folder: If the subject contains 'and', move the message to Trash.
• Are any of the filters set to move all emails to Trash or another folder?
To edit or remove filters:
1. Click the gear icon ( ) in the upper-right corner of the window, and select Mail Options from the menu that appears. (In Mail Classic, select Options | Mail Options.)
2. Select Filters from the list of options on the left side of the page.
3. Click the name of the filter you want to edit or delete.
• To edit: Review the filter criteria on the right, and make any necessary changes.
• To delete: Select the trash can icon (in Mail Classic, select Remove Filter).
Select Save (in Mail Classic, select Save Changes).

How can one track whether a sent email was read? I’m using gmail.

You can set any email to use the read receipt feature and be notified as soon as the recipient opens your message. This feature works across most email services and clients, even for contacts who do not use Gmail.Compose a message using your Gmail account as you normally would.Click “Request return receipt” under the “To:” text box. A new checkbox option will appear.Place a check in the box next to the “Request read receipt” option and then send your email.Check your Gmail inbox later for a confirmation. It will come in the form of a new email letting you know which contact opened which message and the time your message was read. Also I recommend you to use Gmail integrated NetHunt CRM. This tool offers unlimited folders, records and follow-ups, as well as email tracking, calendar support and mass emailing. The app adapts your inbox with basic CRM functions. Emails are shown with qualifying information, and clicking on the NetHunt icon beside the sender’s name allows you to search for relevant records. NetHunt also allows filtered views of records.NetHunt allows for email marketing campaigns and a customizable sales pipeline. It’s offered at tiered pricing plans; a Small Business plan costs $25 per month for 5 users; various Growing Business tiers increase the price and user cap.
