Can I get sued for throwing away someone's belongings??????!!?
I could sit here and give you a multitude of legal arguments about this case, so much so that you would want to jump off the roof with worry. But, the long and the short of this case is, you do not have to worry about a thing.O.K so he is going to be P.Od at you for dumping his paperwork, but apart from giving you a good cussing, there is not a lot he can do. So just come clean and tell him that you did some house clearing, you could not locate him, so you dumped the box. Stand back while he is telling you your fortune and that is that.Do not give it one more minute of your time. All of the papers he can get replaced, will cost him a dollar or two but he can get them done. I have received a thumbs down!!!! Have you guys that are all so-called experts never heard of the rules of abandonment? This property was abandoned and as such this person has nothing to worry about. Try leaving your suit at the dry cleaners or your car in the workshop for a year and see if it is still there when you come back.

what Should I expect them to do? What happened was, two days ago I called my grandma and aunt (they live together) and asked them if they would watch my son for a day. I wasnt feeling well, and my other aunt (the one that called CPS) found out my son was there and flipped out. She says I dump him off there and it has to stop. Which btw, he is not there all that often. So she wrote me a letter saying she called CPS and told them that my house was smelly and my son wasnt taken care of.... If this seems hard to believe, i understand, but she is crazy like this and has tried to take me from my mom and gave her own kids away before. She just hates happy people and IS this way....thats all i can say.... So what do they look for when they look at your house, I have nothing to hide, but I want to pass with flying colors.
Son's father is threatening me with ways to kill me?
My son is 3, and since he was born I have constantly had issues with his dad harassing and threatening me. A few weeks ago when he came for visitation, he came into my house after I told him not to and grabbed my son and hit my arm. I called the police, but his dad had blamed me and said I was attacking him. Anyways, he was charged with trespassing and domestic violence and I was charged with Domestic violence even though I never even touched him and he was in my house. I have been getting things together for court, and his ex-fiancé called me and said that my son's dad had been calling her telling her of all the ways he could kill me and make it look like an accident, and that in the past he had seriously thought about killing me before. I already have a temporary protective order for the incident that happened a few weeks ago, but I am terrified now...If he really wanted to hurt me a piece of paper wouldn't stop him. Is there anything I can do? If I called the police would they do anything at all? I'm just really concerned about the safety of myself, my husband, and my two little boys.
