How can i gain weight without my face getting fatter ?

Gain Lean Muscle Mass, your face will only get bigger with fat not muscle. Focus on your Clean, Healthy, and Balanced diet. You can always eat (still healthy) more to bulk that way your lifts will improve quickly then when you get bigger you can assess when you would like to start "cutting" and loosing fat.

Why is my face getting fat ?

Unfortunately, the only way to decrease the fat in your face is to lose weight in general. There are not specific facial exercises to tone your facial muscles because they are not the same type of toneable muscles like in your body. Just eat healthly foods (no junk food, more servings of fruits and vegetables, and whole grains) and do at least 30-60 minutes of cardio a day. (Walking, jogging, swimming, jumping rope, or dancing are great!)

Why is my face getting fatter?

I'm a 23 y/o male, 5'7", 125 lbs, recovering from an eating disorder. Severely restricted calories for several months and lost 30 lbs. Now trying to eat normally... so far, haven't gained any weight back, but my face/cheeks have gotten fat/puffy. Wouldn't mind gaining some weight back elsewhere, but why is my face getting fat when I haven't put on a pound?

I'm confused. Are you gaining weight or not? Obviously if you are, it's possible that some of it is going to your face.

If not, it's possible that your face is just temporarily swollen. The skin on your face can swell up for a myriad of reasons- mine does all the time (along with getting red and overheated), especially when I'm particularly sleep-deprived. For me personally, swelling just seems to be a general sign of being in a particularly unhealthy state. So you might want to do a little reading about what might be causing your face to puff up.

Of course, it's also possible that your face is just naturally this way. And if it is, I suggest that you do your best to embrace it. I certainly feel your pain, though- I can't go anywhere without being told that I look exactly like Julia Stiles. Hahah.

You can't do exercises to make your cheeks skinnier. But you CAN contour your cheeks with makeup to make your face look slimmer, if that makes you feel any better.

it is all related to the hormonal change. your body is building up the uterine lining for a possible impregnation. The PMS syndrome: bloating, weight gain, mood swings, cravings.
it is the body's way of building up and letting go. some women however have strong symptoms and some have barely any symptoms.
I usually feel nothing: no cramps, no bloating, no nothing except for sugar cravings. lol.
each monthly menstrual cycle has different phases of building up different hormones to fulfill different physical functions.
