Saliva may also cause skin irritation, and this is more common in children. Atopic dermatitis (eczema) appears mostly in children with asthma or other allergies. It runs in families. My feet turn red and itch, while doing the dishes.?

You may be having an allergic reaction to the dish washing liquid. I'm not sure why it happens in the feet and not your hands, but redness and itching are usually indicative of some sort of reaction.

I would go see a doctor about this problem. Allergic reactions can happen anywhere and if they spread to the lungs, you could suffocate from lack of oxygen. It may not be anything serious, but it's worth it to find out to be safe.

Good luck!

Why does my face turn red and get itchy when i drink?

it may be caused by the blood rushing to your outer capillaries. When you drink (alcohol) people generally red in the face and skin and feel a sensation of warmth for this reason.

After a few more drinks your body may have had time to adjust.

The rash may be a heat rash or some sort of reaction to the alcohol.

What can cause this? How can I stop it?

How can I prevent my face from getting red and blotchy after shaving?

depending on the type of razor being used there are several things which can prevent or improve "razor burn". The following things should help no matter which type of razor being used or where on the body the hair is being shaved.First shave only in the direction of hair growth. If your hair grows out and points in the downward direction on your cheeks then shave in that direction. If it grows upward shave in the upward direction etc. Also no matter what type of razor being used make sure you have allowed your beard/hair to get fully hydrated before shaving. Wet the face and keep it wet for several minutes before putting lather on your face to shave. This applies to other places besides the face as well. Don't use a lot of pressure on the razor to face/body. let the razor glide over the area even if that means having to go over and area twice in order to get the hair removed. Let the razor do the work, don't try to get a closer shave by putting lots of pressure on the razor or pushing it onto your face. Also try to use as few stokes of the razor over the skin as possible. In order to reduce the number of times the blades rub off the topmost layers of skin.  Lastly use some Witch Hazel also called (Hamamelis virginiana) after you shave to soothe and start the healing process of your skin. It may be applied as often as you like and acts as an astringent. You might also try to shave less often if that is feasible.

My face is a bit itchy and my skin is irritating, I've been using some cream and now I don't. Perhaps, it is an allergy because my face turned red. What could be a solution on how to prevent this irritation? Is there any home remedy?

Skin allergy symptoms often go away on their own in a week or two, with or without treatment. Meanwhile, there are some things you can do to make it more comfortable. For severe symptoms, try a damp dressing. First find a soft cotton garment like a long-sleeve T-shirt or long underwear. Soak it in water, wring it out and then put it on. Wear a garment over top that's snug, but not too tight.Rashes or skin problems that last should always be checked out by a doctor, even if they get a little better by home treatment. They could be a sign of a serious medical condition, if you'd like to get a free medical opinion on this, use the seeDoc Alpha - Android Apps on Google Play app.
