My First Genertion Ipad Isnt Working Fine

When should the first iPad Pro be outdated?

Contrary to what another, otherwise good answer says, “when it no longer fits your needs” is not too simplistic. It’s the only absolute answer anyone can truthfully give. You may be doing something (though I don’t know what it would be) that the latest model can just barely handle, and legitimately need an upgrade for productivity reasons as soon as anything better is available. If so, for you, the current one is outdated at that point. You may be fine until some feature only some future model has becomes important to you. You may be fine until the OS stops receiving updates, or just prefer not to use it anymore for security reasons. You may be fine beyond that until some app you use is no longer updated on that iOS version. Or the old version of the app may do everything you want of it for years yet. Nobody can make that determination but you. Nobody should pretend they can make that determination absent knowledge that only you have. And so “when it doesn’t fit your needs,” however simple, is not simplistic: it’s just the truth. My stepmom uses an iPad Pro, but hates almost anything to do with computers and the internet. She uses it for playing solitaire and reading Kindle books. For that, it will last just about forever.

My parents won't let me get an iPhone?

I am 13 and I want an iPhone 5s soooo bad!! I have a phone but it is a slide phone and the battery is terrible!! My parents won't let me get an iPhone because of the monthly pay, but I offered to save up my allowance to cover the monthly pay. But they said they are thinking about it and usually that is a no... All my friends have smartphones and they just rub it in my face! I what should I do to convince them to let me get an iPhone 5s? (I do all my chores and behave well too) ( also I don't think I should have to pay anyways because my friends don't have to pay for their phone! It's sooo not fair!!!)

Main differences between iPad Mini and iPad Mini 2 with Retina?

Here you would be able to find complete list of differences between iPad Mini Retina vs iPad Mini 1:

http://compare-e-readers.com/ipad-mini-retina-vs-ipad-mini

The A7 chip is just faster and uses lesser battery for doing heavy processes, increasing the battery time, thus allowing the device to have a bit smaller battery and saving much more space allowing the device to be smaller and lighter. The screen resolution is the main difference in tablets, as a high resolution screen cost a lot more than a non hd low resolution screen. You are paying for bigger RAM, processor, screen, quad core GPU and Air drop file sharing.

The iPad Mini has a small issue, the RAM of 512MB isn't very good enough to handle the iOS 7 and apps without lagging, you will get lag spikes and the device becomes bit slow. So IMO its not worth getting the old version IF you have the money to buy the new one.

Hope this helped!

How long does an iPad last?

I still have the first generation iPad I bought in 2010, and it still works. The battery life at this point (~7 years) isn't more than a few hours, and it's stuck on an old OS so it's not very useful anymore. It does still work fine, though. Many wife is using the second iPad I bought in 2013, I believe. That is a third gen. It's running iOS 9, and most if not all software runs fine on it. Too slowly for me, but my wife doesn't care. The screen still looks about as good as it did when it was new. When I eventually upgrade to a new one, I'm sure my wife will take over my current iPad Pro.Keep in mind that the battery is a limiter. Li-polymer batteries tend to work well for four or more years, though their capacity will decline over time. This is true for ALL batteries in all devices. No battery works forever.iPads last a long time.

What has happened to parenting these days?

When I was little, and stepped out of line, I got punished. Unfortunately, that happened more often than I would like to remember! I was a hellion.

Back to the topic at hand. When I did something bad, I got spanked. Mom bent me over and walloped my backside. Whatever it was that I did to deserve it? I didn't do it anymore. I learned from my mistakes. If I made inappropriate comments? Cussed? Name called my family? I got tabasco on my tongue and had to sit there with it for a minute. It worked pretty well. You learn fast what is acceptable and what is not.

My problem? If any single one of the above mentioned tactics are used on children in this day and age? The parent would be tossed in jail on child abuse. That or the kids would be taken away and you would be deemed unfit to raise a child.

Why does it feel like I am the only person these days that believe physical punishment is still one of the best means of discipline? It obviously has to be within reason. I am by no means promoting the beating of children mindlessly for the sake of doing it.

Here is a scenario I see almost every day:

Child runs around screaming. Mom says stop. Child stops for a second to catch his breath, and then continues. Mom says stop again, and pulls the child to the side. Child yells and pulls away, and then continues to scream.

I know that case, because I have seen it happen daily, and I myself did it when I was little. The big difference? I only did it once or twice. I would bet a thousand dollars hard to all the parents I have seen this happen to, that it happens very frequently for them. Why did I stop after the first or second time? When I was being a pain, after the first time she told me to stop, mom grabbed me and spanked me in the middle of the store. I cried. She told me that is what happens when I run around screaming inside a store. So I associated....screaming in store = getting butt slapped. Hence I didn't do it. If your child associates screaming in store = calm "no", they won't give a damn and continue doing it because they find it fun.

This ringing a bell to anyone here?
