My First Job Interview Tomorrow Morning

Job Interview tomorrow morning (First one/ freaking out)?

Ok so I applied to Gap about 2 weeks ago and they called me yesterday asking if I would go in for an interview. I have only had one internship at a management company through my father, and that was last summer. I have never had a paying job, let alone anything in RETAIL, so I m freaking out because I don t have a resume. Should I print one out tomorrow morning before I go, because I applied online and have already written my references and previous work experiences etc. Overall I have no idea what I m going to do tomorrow at the interview, and I am scared for the interview because I have never had a retail job :(

Interview at Goodwill tomorrow morning, potentially my first job?

Don't worry about money or benefits at this time. This is where you let your prospective employer know why you would be a good fit for the job. Let your personalty shine through and if it's a good fit, they will offer you the position and let you know the wage. That's when you decide to accept the position or not. It is not appropriate to ask about wages or benefits during you first interview.

I have an interview at Applebee's tomorrow morning, first job, HELP?

Ummm expect a lot of questions on how you would deal with people and difficult customers. Always have an answer for the best quality/worst quality question (like your worst quality could be that you work too hard and don't take enough time for yourself, or something that bosses love to hear along those lines).

Describe yourself as an honest, dedicated, hard working individual. Have examples of what you would do in a customer service situation (for example if they ask what you would do if a customer was being irate you could answer, I would take to them at eye level and see if we could resolve the situation, and if the customer still wasn't happy, I would get management). Relax, be yourself and be friendly.

I would wear a nice pair of pants and a button down shirt or a nice sweater. You probably won't know by the end of the interview if you have the job or not.

Good luck!

About yourself:
· What can you tell me about yourself?
· What are your strengths?
· What are your weaknesses/failures?
· Describe your long and short-range goals.

Business questions:
· Why do you want to work here?
· What special qualities do you bring to this job?
· What was your worst job?
· Discuss a problem you have had at work with your boss (or coworker) and how you resolved it.
· How do you define success?
· What are your strengths, your weaknesses/failures?
· Where do you see yourself, career wise, in the future?

School questions:
· Do you think your school grades represent you?
· What was the main thing you got out of going to college (high school)?
· Why didn't you get a degree?
· How did your education prepare you for a career?
· What did you learn in school that can help you on this job?

And finally:
· Is there anything else I need to know about you?
· Do you have any questions?

An interviewer might also ask you to:
· Explain or defend any statement you made in your resume.
· Discuss any skill you may have listed.
· Discuss any lapses in employment times.

I have a job interview tomorrow, how can I do good so I get the job?

Congratulations on landing an interview! Here is how you can prepare:Be ready to talk about who you are, why you’re interested in the company and how your past experiences make you qualified (these are standard opening questions)Look up interview questions from that company on Glassdoor.com if applicableConduct some research on the company and your interviewer (if you know who they are beforehand)Prepare questions for your interviewer to help you assess whether the role will be a good fit for youPractice speaking without “uhs” and “ums”Have a copy of your resume handy in case the interviewer refers to it.Dress appropriately for the role.Ask a friend to conduct mock interviews with you to help you prepare.Get a good night’s sleep the day before.Follow up with thank you notes to each of your interviewers.Overall, just remember to try to stay calm and treat it as a get to know each other conversation. That is all an interview is - a chance for you and the employer to assess whether you could work well together. If you aren’t a good fit, then it’s probably better that it does not work out. Hope this helps and good luck!

Im 16, I have a job interview at Arby's tomorrow. Kinda nervous...need advice? thanks :)?

What to wear :
-Guys: Kahkis or Dress pants, nice polo or button down shirt, dress shoes, clean shaven
-Girls: Dress pants or skirt that goes to the knees, nice blouse or button down shirt, hair tied back and closed-toe shoes (you need to have your hair tied back and closed toe shoes to be in the kitchen by law)

What to say:
-Avoid saying like, um, i don't know, slang, cuss words

-Rehearse talking about a situation in your life where you were confronted with a problem. For example, you did a group project in school and someone wasn't pulling their weight and what you did and what was the result.

-Rehearse saying what you would do if a customer was angry.

-Know what you like about Arby's/why you want to work there

-Know what you are going to say are your greatest strenth and greatest weakness. For the greatest weakness, there is a specific way to answer this question. Don't give a cheesy fake answer like I am too much of a perfectionist. Say something you are truly bad at, but doesn't necessarily relate to the work that you do at Arbys (for example, taking standardized tests, caring for infants, writing code for websites or sewing.) Then (here's the most important part)... talk about what you are doing to make yourself better at it. The point of the question isn't to know your greatest weakness, it's to see how you address challenges.

-Write down three questions to ask the manager. For example, what are the common shift times? What are the employees favorite part about working here? What do employees usually find to be their biggest challenge when training for their role?

I have an interview at walgreens tomorrow?

Well they'll probably base the questions on what you wrote on the application. They'll probably ask you some background questions, about your work history, the hours you said you could work, they'll tell you about different things involved with the job and if you can perform them successfully. They might ask you some questions and just a little small talk, they might ask about your references, basically anything you put on the application or involved with the application will be involved with the interview, they pretty much just go down the application and take notes. Good luck don't be nervous.
