Jelly legs after exercise?

Down the road from my house there is a big long trail of steps i think theres about 120 steps and they go straight up, its serious hard work....after walking up and down a couple of times i get really jelly feeling legs and its horrible, it gets so bad sometimes i cant walk properly and i feel like my legs are just going to give way....does anyone know why this happens?

Before being too aggressive, I suggest you calm her down a bit. She is afraid, and you are her leader, so when she sees that big scary whip she wants YOU to protect her. This simple exercise could change her attitude towards the whip completely or it could make absolutely no difference at all. You've got nothing to lose! Rub the whip up and down her neck, chest, belly, down her legs, at the poll of her head, etc. Touch her everywhere with it. This is very easy and should only take about 6 or 7 minutes. I recommend buying a training whip with a long popper (a 'stick and string') like the one pictured in this link http://www.jeffersequine.com/ssc/product... If you have a whip with a thick long string at the end of it it doesn't have any sting on the horse most of the time unless you crack it real hard, so the learn the whip isn't about pain it's about training. Toss the string of the whip (tying a rope onto the end of a normal whip may work) around her front legs, back legs over and over until she doesn't flinch. Then have your horse stand still about 4 ft. in front of you and smack the ground on her right side about 2 foot away, then go over her head to the other side smacking the ground to her left. Do this for around 5 minutes at a slow, regular speed. She probably will try to charge you but that's the point; getting her to not shy at the whip while also teaching her not to charge. When she does get upset begin rubbing her with the whip again. Talk to her. Try again until she is completely unafraid.

You can get a professional's help if you want to. I think it's weird how almost everyone on here thinks that every horse owner should get a professional horse trainer to deal with their horses problems. Simple or dangerous. From biting to halter breaking to rearing under saddle, get a pro. How do you ever learn anything by paying someone else to do it? I think sometimes it's appropriate to get a good horseman to help you or give you advice. SOMETIMES. Not every month with every little thing though. Is their a risk in training your own horse, yes, for crying out loud yes, but does that mean you should never even try it? A big fat no. Personally I don't believe that rearing and charging at the whip is all that dangerous and could be fixed quite easily with some good old fashioned groundwork. Good luck and God bless!

sometimes ur legs will feel like that if u worked them out the day before, because the muscles are just tired. maybe u didn't necessarily go to the gym or run 5 miles, but just doing something that ur muscles aren't used to doing can make them sore.
