My Forearm And Wrist Is Tingling Like Pins And Needles In My Right Hand

Right hand-pins and needles?

My right hand lately has had some issues. A week or so ago, i lost total feeling in it. I literally could lift it with my left arm and drop it - however, it was just after waking up..so maybe i slept on it wrong? Besides that occurence, quite frequently my right hand goes numb and right now it is having a pins and needles issue. I can type..cook...clean, etc. But the feeling is still there. I have two young children that i lift all the time and do not know if that has something to do with it. I am also right handed...i am a bit scared after reading everything I see on the web in regards to what it should be...but don't know if it is worth seeing a Doctor about? This has been going on for about a month now. The worst was when my whole arm was numb...and i lost the sensation for about a half hour. I finally recieved feeling back in it but was so convinced it was from sleeping on it in an odd position. After typing every so often i keep shaking my hand trying to get the feeling to go away. Any suggestions?? Anyone in the medical field out there that can offer advice. I am a pretty healthy 35 yr. old. and scared..Thanks!

Tingling sensation in my forearm and hands when I do bicep curls?

Tingling like several other symptoms of pain is the bodies way of telling you there is something wrong. Tingling comes from the nervous system. Usually when you get tingling or numbness in the arms, or hands it is related to the nerves that run from the spinal cord in your neck and down the arm into the hand. It is possible that you have a pinched nerve in your neck which causes less oxygen, nutrients and signals from the brain to get to the arm and hand. To relieve the pinched nerve you can see a chiropractor who specializes in the spine. They can take a xray and manually adjust the vertebrae that is pinching on the nerves. This will relieve the symptoms immediately.

I have this odd pain then tingling in my left wrist/forearm?

Sounds like what happens when a blood clot or peice of plaqe breaks free..tingling is from your nerves dying in the surrounding area because of lack of blood..the blood carries oxygen so its really a lack of oxygen that causes the tingling...this is why you get tinginling if you were to sit on your hand lol same concept same thing...pressure is actually felt when enough blood is cut off or their is a blockage in a vein/artery. It feels like someone is squeezing your arm and nothing you can do to escape the pain...and the pain is deep tissue pain.

if so... its a clot or plaque that has broke free. Take better care of your diet...you may look healthy but your vessels may be lined with plaque. I work in the medical feild and do preop test on the heart to see if people can survive surgery..they are called stress rest test. You would be suprised how many people who are in their late 20s early 30s that are athletic come in..only to find that they have had a mycocardial infarction..(heart attack) without even knowing it..because they stuff themselves with mcdonalds and burgerking and soda etc etc..and because they look musculer and are fit..they think they are in good shape....

Now im not saying this is you..im saying this stuff can happen to young people who are not overweight and who are atheltic..depnds on what you eat..their are other reasons such as certian diseases that may cause this as well..

I have had them before they are scary feeling and hurt like hell...

Constant pain in left forearm, as i its about to explode!?

Hi, ive recently had a nasty throbbing/pressure pain in my left arm.

It used to just be a night, etc. but not have it constantly, and more intense.

As i type i have to keep lifting it up above my head. if i have it below my shoulders then it feels as if it's about to explode, and my veins get amazingly big & visible!!!!!

I used to get the nasty uncomfortable pain if i was in the sun for too long, and it just felt like there was loads of pressure building up in my arm!! but it was never this bad, and never constant..... all day.... whenever.....

I'll lift my arm, and my veins shrink again..... go tiny, but my arm begins to feel mildly tingly and absent if i hold it up for too long, like the pain before pins and needles, if you're sitting on your leg or something.

Went to doctor, but he seemed uninterested and said it was normal.

When i lie there at night i have to keep moving my arm as it feels like its going to go tingly and dead!

ONLY in left forearm.... nowhere else.

Numbness, loss of sensation in left arm and hand.?

I am a 39 year old male. I thought it would pass but its getting worse.
Its not painful but very uncomfortable, like bad pins and needles as if my arm and hand is " Asleep " Its particularly uncomfortable when washing my hair or using the phone.

Ie. raising my arm during normal activities. Its been more than a week.

Any insight especially from a medical professional or any person has experienced similar symtoms would be gratefully appreciated.
