My friend is very rude to me and treats me like an idiot but he’s connected to a lot of my other friends. What should I do?
Let me tell you a little story.Some years ago, my husband made a new group of friends. I met them all and liked them, but one friend disliked me intensely. He was often mocking and rude to me whenever I tagged along. (They got together regularly, and I went with them every once in a while just to be nice.)Was I annoyed? Hell yes. But I made sure not to let it show.I treated him with courtesy. I ignored his gibes, or laughed politely as if I thought it was supposed to be a joke. I let it go.Fast forward to now.I’m close friends with more than half of the group and hang out with them myself, with or without my husband. The group doesn’t get together very often so I don’t join them anymore.So my advice is to maintain your dignity. Don’t stoop to his level. Treat him with basic good manners and let time take care of the rest.
Why will I always be "bro" to my male friends?
Because it means you've achieved a status of utmost importance in your friend's life...it means in his mind he considers you a part of his family. Family is considered the group of folks who are most disinterested people towards one and who never judge whatever it takes. Unless you are not straight, you'll always end up being a "Bro" to your male friends...(females too may consider you "Bro"..but that would be because your relationship with her turned out to be more of trust and reliable mode rather than a romantic mode).
Is there anyway to convince my best friend's parents to let me sleepover at her house?
Nope. Not gonna happen. I believe you when you say you would just sleep, just like one of the gang. But if we were talking about my daughter, I wouldn't let you do it, either.I was in almost this exact situation when I was 16. I was just going camping with the good friend of mine, who was a guy. My parents didn’t even discuss this one, they just both, at the same time, said no, in the causal, matter-of-fact tone that allows for no argument. I still argued, of course, being 16 and knowing much better than they that this was perfectly safe. About the fourth time I asked why, my father said, “Because I know how boys are at that age.”You mean exactly what you say. I get that. You probably don’t even see these girls as girls so much as just your group of friends. But a 16-year-old boy has raging hormones that you may not even be aware of yet yourself, and 16-year-olds of either sex are not known for impulse control. So, no, there is no argument that will sway the adults.Unless, of course, you are gay. If so, now’s the time to tell them. They may not believe you, though. They may think it’s awfully convenient that you are revealing this fact right now. So, my advice is to stop fighting this battle. No matter how illogical or insulting you may find their position, you are not going to win this one.
Friends keep asking for ride? help please?
ok so when i first got my license, right away my friends keep asking for ride. And i said yeah, after like 3 weeks of droping them to school and making them leave their clothes for practice in my car i really got fed up. When my parents saw me giving ride to people they said don't ever give people ride again, because if the car crashes my parents don't want to be responsible for my friends. I told my friends that and they said its okay. But one of my other friends, even though i told him that i can't anymore because my parents don't want to be liable, every morning he textes me last minute asking for ride. Its really hard to say no so i let him ride with me for that day. I keep telling him that i cant but every morning he asks. im tired of being late for school because one of my firends is to lazy to ride bus. Even today i said just for today and he brought other people to ride with me, one of them didnt even ask for ride he just went in my car. Im really getting sick of my friends because they dont respect what my parents say...what should i do?

My brother and me always had fight for small things. He had the top most of ego and never let it go. We used to fight for small things like being the 1st one to use a shampoo,soap,occupy a chair etc (PS:we were small kids below 10). It was March 31st eve and mom went for shopping and brought some goods. While checking on the goods she brought, my brother found a soap and to yelled aloud " I'll be the 1st one to use it tomorrow morning". No one mentioned any objection. That day he slept earlier. I took to the soap to my room, removed the cover and painted it with my colour less nail polish. :p, put the soap back in the cover and waited for the scene the next day! :pAs told, my brother took the soap and went to bath (he had the widest grin as I have ever seen like winning some battle :p) I couldn't stop myself laughing my ass out. He went to bath and came back within 10 minutes and told my mother that the soap she brought was not good and it didn't produce any lather :p I couldn't stop myself and I screamed HAPPY APRIL"S FOOL MY DEAR!!! And he was having no idea whats happening and made me run around the home! :p
How come all of Batman's sidekicks are named Robin?
Robin was created to be a junior counterpart to Batman. In order words a kid superhero or a kid that fights with a Superhero. After Bill Finger, Bob Cane and Jerry Robinson created robin, comic book sales doubled and the public were pleased with this boy wonder and the new dynamic duo, caped crusaders, etc etc. so intellectually, DC is gonna ride the train as long as they can with Robins. They keep introducing new Robins because the present Robins grow up and leave or die. There will most likely be a new Robin in the decades to come after Damian. Creating a new sidekick for Batman will be too risky and sticking to the current IP of Robin is always the way to go.At the present moment, Batman and all his Robin’s are alive and have a totally unhealthy disfunctional relationship with him. Even Jason Todd lives after being resurrected from the grave. He goes by the name of Red Hood. Dick Grayson moved over to the solo role of Nightwing. Tim Drake is an active but more so in other fractions like Teen Titans and Young justice. Damian Wayne is the latest Robin and mostly does his own thing, Damian was also killed in 2013 and was resurrected by Batman.Another Robin is Carrie Kelly from the Dark Knight Returns. She also forced Batman hand at becoming his next sidekick. He allows this and expresses his gratitude by saying “good soldier”. Although extremely dangerous, Batman doesn't mind fighting with a younger sidekick. But killing off Robins is probably DCs way of letting kids know that being a vigilante is dangerous.

As you might be aware that 75% attendance is made compulsory in college lectures. But course teachers rarely take the 75% attendance rule seriously. So it was April Fool’s day and quiz 2 (Minor exams between midsem and endsem exams) had just gotten over. We shortlisted students whose attendance we thought was less than 50%, so even if they attend all the lectures after midsems they won’t have 75% attendance. And then we gave random marks to everyone else and to the shortlisted students whose attendance was less than 50% before midsems, we gave them straight 0s. We made the list look official. Then in groups of 4–5 we went to each of the shortlisted students’ rooms and told them that the quiz 2 result has come on the professor’s webpage and they’ve been awarded 0 marks and also have been debarred from giving the endsem exams. Many started emailing the professor and were ready to go beg the professor the next day. Well even worse. It was fun!
