My Friend Got Her Period .

How do I comfort my friend while she's on her period?

That’s easy, ask her what she’s craving , buy whatever it is. Get her some Medol. Some fuzzy socks, a heating pad, watch a movie with her. Just don’t get in her way, I know all girls are different, but I know for such when TOM comes, I don’t want anyone bothering me.

My friend got her period today and...?

LOL U and your BFF need to stay calm. Its not like she has to tell her dad that shes pregnet i mean if she tells him, whats he going to do? Punish her for something that happens to every girl and is natural and is a part of growing up. When my mom told my dad that i got my period when i was 10, he just nodded his head and walked away. (im 12 now) I don't like talking to my dad about those things either, so i have code words. Milk and cookies means i got my period or that i need pads. Sprinkles are tampons. And when i get my period or one of my friends, we sing SHE'LL BE COMING AROUND THE MOUNTAIN WHEN SHE COMES. it's not a big deal. make up your own little sayings (PLZ don't copy mine) My dad knows what i mean so i don't have to talk about it with him unless he has a problem with something like i need to wrap my pads B 4 i put them in the trash so he doesn't have to see blood when hes trying to take a crap! lol Best of wishes! when she tells him, have you go with her. And go shopping for pads with her. It will make all the difference! Happy Holidays! Also try getting a book on it.

My friend is jealous that I got my period?

she'll realize there's nothing to be jealous over when she gets her's and wakes up with the worst cramps possible. Tell her to be glad she hasn't gots hers yet, enjoy the time she has.

My friend got her period before me?

Hey okay so you are perfectly normal! The age to get your period from can range from 9 to 16! I got mine when i was ten. Usually the age your mom got it is the age you will get it. USUALLY. So...ask your mom when she got hers for a general idea. Also...if you have pubic hair or underarm hair that is a sign that it will come sometime in the next year or so. Youll also get cramps right before it comes so you will be prepared! Dont worry ...and hope this helps!

How can I tell if my friend has started their period?

my friend is in 8th grade and is 14 and I am in 9th and 15. We are becoming closer friends now and i still don't know if she has her period yet..... how can I find out or what are ways to tell if she has started yet?

Have you discussed your periods with your guy friends?

'Guy' friends! Yes! When the whole world is moving towards gender equality, when friendship is all about sharing and caring and, most importantly when every relationship is based on understanding, why not one can discuss a natural phenomenon. In the early days, I was reluctant saying loud about ‘it’, skeptic discussing about it with the guy friends and I believe not every girl is complacent to converse about it. But as I grew up, I have got a bunch of guy friends who have been by my side throughout every phase of my life, and who have taught me the real meaning of friendship.I am an IT professional and there have been times when I was at a new place, down on my periods dying out of cramps, feeling home sick and having food cravings. My guy friends had given me hot water bag, wiped my tears, had run to the restaurants to get me my favourite, been there to divert my mind, roam around different medical shops to get me a specific pain killer, cooked me dinner, packed my bags, helped me vomiting, listened to me when I have been emotionally down and even tolerated my mood swings. What else do you need from your family away from family?Once I was in a foreign country and had periods unexpectedly and there, the only person known to me was my guy friend. What should have I done? Hesitated and bled? Cried in pain? Or should have shared my grief, requested for help and relaxed? I ran out of my pads as I was there for only a few days and carried limited stock. Initially I was indecisive, how could I shop sanitary napkins with a guy along, but then his response and care made me comfortable!I have been blessed to have such guy friends in my life!A small gesture even getting a girl a glass water would make her smile when she is crying out of pain. Instead of making it a taboo, let's make it comfortable for girls.

I think my friend lied about starting her period?

We are both 13, and today I found out she 'got her period'.

I got my last week, and now she claims she has hers, coincidence, I THINK NOT! Hahahah. When I got mine, I wasn't boasting or anything, in fact, I didn't talk about it at all. The thing is, this friend isn't really developed, if you get what I mean... no boobs, no curves... it seems a bit dodgy... lol. Also, she didn't really go to the toilet much today. I heard your first period is usually heavy, so wouldn't yu need to change your pad/tampon a lot? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

What do you think? Also, this friend is known to be like REALLY into boys and all that stuff, and you can see she gets jealous when someone talks about how a boy asked for your number or something...

Soo, what are your thoughts?

Thanks for reading :) xxx

What's the best thing to say to your girl friend on her period?

Nothing! The very best thing is to not say anything at all about it. But if you see that it’s affecting her, then be a little extra patient, a little more understanding, and just a little bit more appreciative of her. It’ll all come back to you with interest in the end. Payback isn’t always a bitch! Sometimes it’s wonderful!I learned this the hard way. My girlfriend was always unfailing sweet tempered and mild. So on those rare occasions when she became aggressive, argumentative, and irrational, I would gently suggest that perhaps her menses were approaching. (Stupid, stupid, stupid!) This would cause her to fly into a fury, “Why is it if a woman disagrees with you that men always blame it on her period!!!” Then, two or three days later I’d get a contrite phone call, “Um, you were right.”The few days before her period can sometimes be very difficult for a woman. It’s no fun to have some hormonal changes play the scales with your emotions. If men went through this God only knows how many more wars there would be. So cut her some slack, and go right to my recommendations in my first paragraph. You’ll be so glad!
