What is this sharp/stabbing pain? A contraction?
Hello I am 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant today and Have been having these very intense sharp/stabbing pains in my lower abdomen and vagina region. I have had this sharp/stabbing pain before but never this many in one day and the pain is much more intense and last longer. Whenever this pain occurs my stomach gets somewhat hard and the baby moves around a lot! It's becoming so painful that I have to hold the area and slouch over until the pain passes by! Sometimes it last 30-60 seconds... other times just a mere second and the pain is gone I have not tried timing them because they are not regular pains! The pain is very sharp and painful and catches me off guard sometimes! This is my first pregnancy and I have no idea how a real contraction is suppose to feel like!
What's causing sharp vaginal pain from tampons?
You may have become sensitized to tampons, I did and can no longer use them without pain and cramps. It is a known danger with tampons, and in the 80s many young girls died from what is called Toxic Shock Syndrome. If you don't want to use pads, then check into Diva Cups. They are inserted, and catch the blood, reusable, so a one time investment. It may be an option for you. BTW - did you know commercial brands of tampons contain asbestos? Ick.
Sharp stomach pains when I don't eat?
I used to get something similar I think. I remember that when I'm hungry, and if I don't eat when I'm hungry for a significant time I start to get stomach pains as well and it gets upset and then I can't eat because I feel that it upsets it even more. I still function fine, but I want to usually lay in bed for awhile until it calms down (or put a cold pack on my stomach). I don't know why but cold helps my stomach calm down. If it really concerns you, then maybe you should go ask your doctor. Mine doesn't happy very often anymore. This happened in like 8th to 10th grade for me the most, and honestly cannot recall the last time happened. I'm not a doctor though...so. That's just my input!
Sharp stabbing pain during first time sex - Help Pease?
Today me and my girlfriend tried to have sex for the first time. We're both 16 and have been going out for 6 months.I posted this before but didnt really get the answer my girlfriend wanted in the end. I had someone comment that she wasn't ready, ill clear this up now by saying that we both agreed to do it and i'm NOT pressuring her into it in anyway. We've done all the basic things like fingering and oral. With fingering, i could fit 1 finger in and 2 with a little force (didn't do this for her own comfort) but we tried to have sex today and when i was just entering she asked me to pull out of her and burst into tears complaining of a sharp-stabbing pain? i've looked around and alot of sites talk about this pain but it being bareable. Tbh from the look on her face it was one of the most painfull things that could happen. i really need advice... so does she, she feels its her fault. even though i've explained it definetly wont be. can anyone tell me why this is happening and what to do? PLEASE HELP. thanks in advance. also, i know about the hymen and all of that. i realise it is most likely the hymen but im not sure why it is causing thsi much pain?

I've had my share of pain and will always live in pain the rest of my life. Some of my injuries.Concussion-Have had 3, level 3 concussions. (Worst possible concussion).Compound fractures- 2 broke my arm.snapped my left arm .Broke my wrist. Snapped . Left arm was excruciating, because of the large bone.Torn Roto cuff - Pain not too severe, but very long to healCalf muscle torn in half. Excruciating, had to crawl to bathroom for about 2 months. Took 6 months to fully healRuptured ACL- Pain not bad. Surgery and rehab not bad.Torn Achilles- More pain than ACL, longer recovery. Not to bad a week after surgery.Ruptured L5– Excruciating, 2 guys had to help me get up, tough surgery and about 2 months recovery. First week after surgery was hard.Diverticulitis-10″ of intestines removed. Stomach staples. Pain not too bad. Developed Mercer, Dr. Cut stomach in office. 3 months with hole in stomach, clean 3 times a day. Not too badHerniated stomach- Installed mesh, 4 weeks. Not too badFractures- ankle, knee, left arm(6 times) right hand, right wrist, fingers. Pain is sore till they set and cast it. So, not that badNail through finger-Nail gun, hurt pulling it out. Wasn't bad except for thatKidney stones,-3 times. Hurt when passing through small intestines. Not to badHerniated discs C4,C5,T7, hurts when the pinch nerves. Chiropractic treatment helps. More of a annoying painWorst pain- Car accident suffered injury to brain stem, permanent nerve damage. Very debilitating, hard to work. Wake up throughout the night from arms,legs, shoulders, everything pretty much hurts.Nerve endings affected severely. Not just physical pain, but the mental part is just horrible.The worst pain because it never stops.Some days are just better than others,but never pain free.Just my opinion. Truthfully, any type of pain is severe in its own way. It's how you deal with it, that's the hardest.
Ovary pain during sex and randomly?
When my husband and I have sex and I'm on top my ovaries start hurting so badly I have to stop. Also sometimes (it comes and goes and changes sides ) I have a very sharp pain when I sneeze and someitmes when I move too fast. I'm young healthy no previous problems I workout everyday and i'm not over weight. Also I have been to the doctor about this and had a sonogram and they said everything was fine and wern't concerned about it.
Upper abdominal pain for 5 days now, sharp pains.?
My girlfriend has had upper abdominal pains for about a week now and I'm starting to get worried, I posted a question before and I'm not too sure what happened about it. She describes her pain as someone stabbing her in her upper middle abdominal, just below the ribs. It seems constant, I've been giving her 800 motrin to ease the pain but it only seems to come back soon after, she is going to the hospital tomorrow morning but I can't help but worry. Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong? I've been reading a lot about gull blatter issues, but lasting this long? It just happened a few days into her period, her period has been over for a few days now and the pain has been persisting.
What does it feel like to get stabbed?
I’ve been stabbed 3 times. The first time was an accident in middle school. A classmate hit me with her bag and there was a pencil sticking out the bottom of it. That’s when I discovered what I call my birth defect. I don’t feel pain normally. I got home, took off my jacket and it felt like it snagged on something. My dad was there and he turned green. I asked if he was ok and he said, “look at your arm”. There, sticking out of my arm was 2 inches of broken pencil.The second time was in a fight in NYC. Someone pulled a knife on me and I put my hand up. The knife went through my right hand. I’m a lefty, and wasn’t using a computer mouse yet. I pulled my hand back, looked at it, pulled the knife out of it, and buried it in the attackers’ butt. He ran away screaming like a shark just bit his leg off. (pussy)The third time was again in a fight in NYC. I was checking IDs at a bar in Queens and a kid (drunk, the best kind of attacker) stabbed me in the leg. It was a fairly fleshy part, and he missed my femoral artery, so that was good. He turned to run away and I gave him his knife back - in his ass, again. I bet he couldn’t sit for a month.The leg hurt a bit, but the others either completely missed nerves, or, like I said, my birth defect handled the pain for me. The only time I REALLY felt the pain from these was when I rinsed the wounds with hydrogen peroxide. THAT hurt.
Stomach pain after anal sex.?
My boyfriend and I tried anal for the first time on Saturday (its now Monday) and I've been having stomach pains ever since. He used plenty of lube, and my butt doesn't hurt at all, its all located in my stomach, almost like a stabbing/cramping feeling on my left side. I was constipated until today, and when I finally was able to go, there was a little bit of blood on the toilet paper... is this normal?? will it go away?? serious answers only please, I don't care if you are against anal sex, or premarital sex, or want to make jokes.
