Helping my girlfriend with bulimia?
My girlfriend has been bulimic for 4 years. She has her good days and bad, lately more bad days. On bad days she is depressed and almost non functional. She went to the school counselor finally but doesnt want to go anymore because they made her go to the doctors. The doctors ran tests and found out she was hypokalemic (low potassium), but her heart rhythm is fine. The doctor referred her to a psychiatrist and psychologist, but she has to use insurance to see them, which means her parents finding out. I talk to her all the time about it, but all she ever says is I dont want to see the doctors anymore. I think she is trying to stop, but doesn't really want to yet. Some of her friends are thinking of telling her parents because she wont, I said they shouldn't do that before, because it still wont help but now I am thinking differently and maybe telling them is the only way she will finally get help. What should I do?
What do i do since my girlfriend is pregnant and we are staying at job corps?
job corps pays $45 every 2 weeks. we live at job corps no place to stay when her parents find out job corps kicks her out after her third trimester i have to finish so i can go to college and take care of my girlfriend and my baby. what do i do in the meantime? also, any help with getting insurance?
Can I find out if my girlfriend took a life insurance policy out on me? I have reason to believe her intent is to kill me.
You can find out now. NO, your girlfriend or anyone else CANNOT take a life insurance policy out on you without your permission and knowledge. WHY? Because all insureds are required to give their signatures on the original application. A life insurance case CANNOT even begin to be processed through underwriting without the signatures required from the insured. Plus you would need to have gone through a medical paramed exam with urine,blood and a mobile nurse verifying your blood pressure, ht,wt,etc. I think it’s time you dump your girlfriend, plenty of fish in the sea.
My girlfriend is pregnant and applying for medicaid because she will qualify, will I end up paying for it?
My girlfriend currently lives with her father, and due to their low family income she will qualify for Medicaid. As part of the application they asked for all my information. I have a good job that provides me full medical insurance. Now, I’m not 100 percent positive but I believe my insurance would cover all the prenatal medical costs for the child. My girlfriend is insistent that Medicaid is the way to go and that they will pay for everything but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. I’m afraid that if Medicaid is awarded to her the state will come after me for the costs of the birth afterwards when in fact my insurance would have probably just covered it in the first place. Should I let her go on Medicaid? (Medicaid will cover other medical costs which she wants that I know my insurance won’t cover such as dental work etc. which is why she wants it). Furthermore, she is planning on moving in with me before the baby comes and we have no plans to get married. Will I have to pay child support to her even though her and the baby will be living under my roof with my full financial support? (She doesn’t currently have a job and we live in Nebraska).
I believe someone I’m seeing took a life insurance policy out in my name, most disturbing is I found a probate will in my name on her possession, how can I confirm a note on my head?

My son is dating this girl who has some health problems. I'm not too keen on them getting married. I don't want my son to have to take care of her all the time and her illness could complicate her ability to have children. What should I do?
I have been a Pastor for 27 years, working in christian ministry for 34. I have been married for 23.When I met my wife, she was a fun, involved in ministry, and very attracted to me. On our wedding day, we drove from the reception to a hotel about 2 hours away, went into the room and fell asleep. We had never been intimate before marriage. While sleeping, I rolled over and my arm went across my wife. she had a panic attack and kicked me out of the bed. That contact had opened the door to memories of horrific abuse by her dead father (who killed himself when my wife’s mom, brother, and herself left him) and other men the father brought to abuse her. I also found out over the next few years my wife has alter personalities - all small children - most hate men…I made a vow to GOD to love, honor, and cherish unto death. For richer, poorer, in sickness and health. I have gone to counseling, where most of the advice was to leave and enjoy my life. I need to take care of my own needs… blah blah blah..This last year she has had 4 surgeries, had a disc removed from her spine, and is on over 20 medications.Our current world says ME! ME! But as others have said, what would that look like to the other side? I would be a selfish jerk, leaving a broken, scared woman who can not keep a job and in failing health (42 years old) just because it is a struggle? Because it is hard?If I was your next door neighbor, what would you think of me if I left her? If I went and found a nice woman who was healthy and stable? If I left and started over??? What would you think of my church? How would you speak to others about me?Now your son… He is in love with a woman with health problems. OK. So what? That is what love is. Our worlds problem is that people don’t know true Love anymore. Love is sacrifice! Love is dying to self! My teeth really hurts, but my parents wont pay for my braces?
You could also do a payment plan. I'm paying $200 a month for my braces for the next 2 years. Ask your dentist about that and then see if your parents are more likely to do that. But if not you might have to pay it yourself but it won't be $8000 at once.
