My Haier Tv Is On And Just Changes To Different Color But No Picture And It Doesnt Turn Off

Why is my computer screen changing colors randomly?

To determine culprit:Step 1: Check the PC’s video output with another monitor. If the issue is solved, the monitor might have a problem. If not proceed to step 2 with original monitor.Step 2: Test monitor with another system. If the issue persists check another HDMI port. If the issue still persists go to step 3.Step 3: Try another HDMI cable, or try a VGA cable if you also have that available. If the problem resolves you had a bad cable. If the problem persists then we can be reasonably certain the fault lies in your computer, and not the monitor or the cable. You could be looking at a problem with your graphics card, but before concluding this there are a few more steps.Step 4: Check to see if your video card driver updated recently - if it has, roll back the driver. If the issue is solved then the driver update had an issue.Step 5: Verify Windows display settings. Check the adapter options under the Display Settings menu - verify the appropriate refresh rate and color settings are selected for your monitor.Step 6: Check advanced graphics card settings. For example with Nvidia cards you can access the Nvidia control panel by right clicking the desktop. Some really interesting color stuff can happen with the color depth settings found under the Display heading, Change resolution subheading. Windows sometimes changes the setting from 8 to 12 or vice-versa, and it turns the display into an LSD-fueled horror show. Personally I think this is your problem. Simply change to the normal color depth for your system (there shouldn’t be too many options here). If this doesn’t help you can check the color settings for the card.Step 7: Try updating the driver for the graphics card. Sometimes a driver update can resolve some weird problems.Step 8: Recalibrate the monitor settings. You can also see if booting into safe mode solves the problem. If you use an external GPU along with a cpu that has internal graphics support try using the CPU by plugging the display to the motherboard outputs. Note that you may need to enable this in UEFI/BIOS if you or the manufacturer set the computer to only use the external GPU.

Why would a TV turn off and on by itself?

Okay, I am not sure that this is the reason why your television turns itself on and off, but this is what happened to me.For a short time, I suspected that someone was coming into my house during the day while I was working. Why? Because the television would periodically be on or set to a channel that I would never watch. I was, at that time, leaving the patio sliding door open so that my dog could go in and out during the day as she needed.Until one day while I was home during the day watching television. All of a sudden, the tv started changing channels and turning itself on and off. What was occuring was that at that particular time of the day, sunlight was hitting the remote sensor on the television. With a tree moving in front of the light when there was enough of a breeze to cast shadows causing the tv to turn off and on and switch channels! Not sure that this is what is happening with yours, but it was a relief to know that it wasn't someone coming into my home!BTW, if someone had been coming into my home, my dog would have probably welcomed him/her! Not much of a watchdog at all!

Why is my TV turning on by itself?

Some TV's actually have the ability to schedule an auto 'ON' time so you can wake up to your favorite show, etc.  However; unless you bought the TV used or someone else in your home set the feature, this likely isn't the cause. The more likely answer is that most new video devices (set top boxes, BluRay players, AppleTV, Roku, HDTVs, etc) all use HDMI to transmit video.  In addition to video, HDMI also handles encryption (copy protection), auto setup of devices (resolution, color depth settings, etc), audio, ethernet, and sever other functions.  One of the functions is 'control'.  Meaning you turn on your bluray player and it can automatically turn on your TV (and surround receiver if necessary).Typically you can turn this "feature" off.  Check your setup to look for 'HDMI Control' or something similar.  I've found that many set top cable boxes utilize this feature and are setup by default to turn on your TV when the box is turned on.  What happens is the cable provider sends firmware/software updates to their set top boxes and afterward the box powers off and back on so that it can apply the upgrade.  When it turns back on it sends a message via HDMI to your TV to turn on too. Most TV's allow you to disable HDMI control, but some do not.  You can also check the cable box settings and see if you can turn it off within the box.  Lastly you can also try using a different method of sending video from your set top box to your TV such as component video (Red/Green/Blue) which in most cases should provide a video signal that's indistinguishable from HDMI.

Is it possible to run a TV on solar panels?

Well, the answer to this question swings between a Yes and No!Firstly we should understand what type of TV is it. Below is the screenshot of specifications from Sony:You can see that the power consumption is relatively lower ranging between 82 ~ 104 Watts. Such power can be easily produced by your solar panels but only for a limited range of time. The sun as you know, shines only for a few hours a day and hence it shall be hard to power your TV for the entire 24 hours. Refer to this answer for more details Kavish Shah's answer to How much would it cost to install a solar power system to run a 1.5 ton ac?After reading this, you shall understand the point I was trying to make. Also there are 2 basic configurations of your solar system:Grid connected solar system: Such system are connected to Grid (as seen the picture below). In this configuration, you could consume all the energy generated from your system. If there is excess generation, you could push it to the grid. If in case you need energy at night time, you could get it from the grid at mutually agreed price. This kind of system are cheap and are advisable in places where there is good availability of the Grid.Off Grid solar system: System like these are the ones where the energy generated is solely used by the consumer and/or stored in energy storage device for future use. This system has no connection with the grid. Such system is costlier that the on grid system, but it is effective in the places where there is no grid or the quality of grid available is not good.May be this shall further interest you Kavish Shah's answer to Can I connect an inverter to my solar panels without involving batteries? If yes then how?Hope this helpsKavish

Is a 120Hz 1080p tv good for gaming?

Consider 3D TV sets from Samsung or Panasonic as the best choice for gaming.
240 Hz is 2nd best, and 120 Hz is a tad too slow, but adequate. Keep in mind the PS4 will be doing 3D in the future, so don't limit yourself with 120 Hz if you can afford 3D, ok?

You're going to have that TV for years...not months.
