My Hair Is Felling Off Help

Help, my hair is falling out....?

Trim at least an inch the split ends will travel up your hair strand splitting as it goes. You naturally lose 75-150 strands of hair per month. Hair grows an average of 1/2 inch per month. Warmer months more, cooler less. Age - younger grows faster, older slower. Take into account genetics, hormones, stress, diet, medication, damage to hair. Use good products not Pantene, Herbal Essence & Garnier they are silicone products. They make you hair nice at first but as the silicone builds up it locks out moisture your hair weakens & breaks. Use pro products they last longer because you use less so the extra expense is worth it. The shampoos don't contain a detergent lathering agent so it's weird at first because you are used to lather. Great specialty products are, Nioxxin, Joico K-Pak Reconstructor also Silk Results, Rusk has New Pro Elements Keratin. Big Sexy has good general products. Take Biotin & Vitamin E check it out on WebMD & Google. Don't use "box color" it's unpredictable & contains metallics that can leave permanent lines in your hair if you change color products. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply they have more professional products & they can assist you in your purchase & the prices are better.

Im 13 and my hair is falling out like crazy?! help!?

try using different shampoo and conditioner

Im 14 and my hair is falling out like crazy!!! ): Help!?

This is not normal, and neither the loss of your period, once started. It might be related to a heavy metal poisoning, a severe hormonal imbalance, stress, severe and quick weight loss, infection etc. You have to find the source of your problem and a doctor will be your best help. Do not take this issue lightly: your body is telling you that something is wrong.
As a first step, stop using conditioning agents of any kind (they will only increase the hair loss and you will not understand the true source). Use gentle shampoos: go to a heath food store; they have several to choose from. Ask your parents to make an appointment with your pediatrist; he/she will tell you where to go next.
So sorry about this, sweetie, I hope you will fell better!

I'm 15 and my hair is falling out a lot! please help!!?

I know that when women get older, its common to have hair thinning, but I'm only fifteen. I've gotten my thyroid checked already, and they still haven't called back with results, but I don't think that it has anything to do with that, especially considering that I've been on a diet(but still take mulitvitamins) My mom says that its probably all of the products I put in my hair, but I only use a leave in argan oil conditioner and dry shampoo. And I don't understand how if that were the reason my hair was falling out, how other girls use like fifteen different things in their hair! I dye my hair occasionally, but I never bleach it or anything, just dye it black. I'm freaking out because when I brush my hand through my hair, like ten hairs come out in my hand!! And in the shower, its like fifty!! Even when I used to straighten my hair and never use product in it, my hair NEVER fell out this bad!! I follow all of the hair care tips given by professionals, so I don't understand!! My mom doesn't think that anything is wrong, but I'm freaking out!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

My girlfriends hair is falling out ?! help me !!!?

Once or twice a month? That's KILLING her hair. Not even kidding, she needs to led her hair breathe for a while and recuperate. Have her deep condition her hair to preserve what she has left.

And of course, the stress definitely is contributing to the hair loss. What it does is make her hair brittle and easy to break off. My suggestion to you is to help be her "quiet place". Take her to places that are special to the two of you. The perfect solution for stress is to lie in the grass on a sunny day for hours. I garauntee you, if the two of you - and even she and her friends - just go out and have stress-free fun, she'll relax enough for her hair to begin growing strongly again.

And yes, her hair can grow back. If she has longer hair, it will be pretty easy for her to hide those bald spots for a while. But since she needs to stop coloring her hair (and she NEEDS to stop coloring her hair), it would probably be best to cut it short once her bald spots clear up and her roots grow out a little bit. I'm just saying this so that it's almost like she's starting her hair over again, without any contamination from hair products. And if she needs to, have her color her hair back to her original color so that the roots aren't that visible - that's a big reason why people recolor their hair so often, especially if the color is very different from their original shade.

I'm 19 and my hair is falling out!?

I am in your boat. My hair is thinning and I am 16. It is sad and causes alot of paranoia. You are not going bald. Just ease up on product and dyes as they strip natural moisture and products prevent hair ventilation. Hair needs air and exposure to remain healthy. Refrain from using product for a few weeks and only use it when you are going out. I recommend buying fortifying shampoo and conditioner - even the ones from local supermarket will be fine - don't let a hairdresser who thinks shes all that talk you into buying some 200 dollar bottle of useless crap. Just wash your hair every second night and condition it well. Dye especially blonde is harsh on the hair but not dangerous. sure it will take its toll but if you want dye you have to make up for it buy keeping your hair healthy with shampoos and plenty of tlc. Im no professional but im passing on the advice from my stylist. Go to a hair salon and ask someone to have a look at it and they will let you know. Worst case scenario is premature baldness which IS NOT THE CASE but if so there are advanced technologies which come cheap these days for the restoration of hair. Also eliminate stress as it causes your hair to thin and it can't be heredatory as your father still has hair at 50. Good luck man.

My girlfriends hair is falling out..help!?

GNC has a supplement called "Ultra Nourishair for Women" that makes the hair grow faster and stronger, you can read what's in it by googling it. Be warned these pills are HUGE and you have to take 2 a day.
Also ProCaps labs sells a "hair skin and nails" formula that does the same thing, supports hair growth and health, and is smaller and easier to swallow.
If you take only Biotin [sometimes known as "vitamin H" ] alone, make sure you take at least 2.5 milligrams or 2500 micrograms [the same thing] a day because thats' a good amount to take. I use the Nourishair supplement from GNC now and my hair is growing faster than it did, but it took about 6 to 8 weeks of daily use to see results
