How to curl hair without losing length?
I straighten my hair so i cant put any water type products in my hair, or else it will become curly again. So what heat tool or technique or product can i use that wont lose the length of my hair when its curled. My hair is a little bit passed my shoulders. And when i curl it its by my ears. Any suggestions??
Why did I lose my natural curly hair?
My hair is naturally curly. I have been straightening my hair almost every day & stopped wearing it natural for about 4-5 months now. I also died it 3 times. Could those be factors of why my hair lost it's curl? Also, is there a way to get the curls back?

I've always had curly hair, ever since it started growing on my head. I use to hate my curls up until the end of my Junior year of high school, which is where i straightened less and wore it natural more. Now, I am going to be a sophomore in college, and just back in November 2012, I noticed that my hair was starting to look less lively. It use to be full of body and sprial-like curls. Now, it's still curly at the roots, and the ends are this ugly mix of dead straight, wavy, and a couple spiral curls here and there. I have very fine, thin hair. I also found it odd that I lost my curls this year, becuase thanks to college softball, I never had time to do anything to my hair but put it in a bun, so if I were to guess, I probably used an iron on my hair maybe five times at the most this entire school year. One theory I have is that maybe because I took more showers this year than I ever have before, that's why my hair lost it's curl.. I only shampooed my hair every other day, but I it got wet every day (I had to at least get it wet because I wore a stinky helmet every day). Can someone please tell me why I lost my curls, and what I can do to get them back?? I miss them :(

yes as your hair gets longer depending on your curl type it can get losser due to gravity and weight . also heat if done too much or its too hot can permanently alter the bonds in the hair making it straighter and causing it to lose its curl pattern and the only way to change this is to cut your hair.
Will I lose my naturally curly hair if I dye it?
Im the girl in the middle swinging from my brother and sister.I've got pretty kinky curly hair (yes it's all mine\U0001f604 ) that I've been bleaching and dying for about 3 1/2 years: dark purple, blond, pink, blond, grape-ish purple, maroon, and now blond. My curls are a bit looser and loses moisture more quickly from the bleach but when it grows, and my original color can be seen, my pattern isn't that much different.So bleaching your hair - and maybe some dyes too - might loosen your curls (look into Olaplex, it'll help prevent most damage) but the only thing that can truly and permanently change your curls would be biology. Hair grows back…most of the time, so don't be afraid to experiment with want you want.
Can straightening your hair make you lose your curls?
i used have really wavy hair but i straightened everyday for the past few years, i dont straighten it much any more but my hair is almost completley straight. was straightening it what caused this? is there any way to bring my waves back?
Having problems with Perm losing it curls.?
It honestly could be your stylist!! If you don't have a perm specialist, you can wind up with problems. You should go to a big salon where the staff is divided by specialty. If you see someone who only does perms you are more likely to get a more quality perm. Or you should at least be sure they have done many perms before on people who have hair like yours! It sounds like she is using too much hair in the rollers. The hair in the back is longest so you have to use half as much hair on the roller so that there is room to roll it all the way up. If she used too much hair this would defiantly cause this problem. No matter how many times she does it, if she does not change the way she does it, your hair will come out the same!
Would constantly straightening my hair make it lose its natural curls?
Definitely not, if you have natural curly hair since it will go back to its original shape once the hair chemical wears off after a few months BUT… constantly straightening you hair will cost you a great deal of damaged plus a more expensive treatment.Photo: google free image

There are a few tricks you can use to make sure your curls last you! For one never forget to use the right hair product, I've noticed that so many of my clients don't realize how effective hair products are, after all they are made for a reason! The products you need is a good working hairspray or in other words a hair spray that is not so crunchy that you can't get your fingers through it. Also a heat protector doesn't only help against damage from heat tools but it also coats your hair so it can be easily manipulated. Another thing is after your through with curling apply a light smoothing putty and then do your final round of a nice firm but flexible hair spray.
