3. Arrive at Google search engine home page.
4. Go to toolbar at the top of browser, and click on "Tools", then "Internet Options".
5. At the top of the pop-up, you'll see a "Home Page" box. The address of the site that you are currently at (http://www.google.com) is there. Press the "Use Current" button to specify this page as your home page.

My favorites list is missing , how do i get it back?

http://www.yahoo.com/bookmarks
They should show up here.
If you have the Yahoo.toolbar, you could add Bookmarks as an icon on it.
Otherwise, you'd have to go one by one and re-add them to favorites again..
Toolbar >http://toolbar.yahoo.com/
*****
Just in case, Im not clear on your question ---
If youre missing that entire line with File, View , Favorites, Tools etc..
Then right click in random spots on your browser until you
see a pop up that starts with " menu bar".
click Menu Bar to recheck it, and that line will re-appear.

What feature would you like to see that is missing on your favorite dating site?

Assuming this is to help someone in the process of dating, not to help them find a person to date (like a dating site):Organization features: store information about the people you are dating (phone number, notes about them, when you last met up, where you took them, etc.); Calendar for keeping track of dates, with reminders (such as a setting to remind you to call them after x number of days)Date suggestions: suggestions for fun places to go on a date in your local area, categorized by which type of mood you are going for, how much you want to spend, what date it is (first, second, third). Could even be a social aspect where users can recommend or review date venues. A random date generator function would be pretty cool as long as it had many variations that were actually good suggestions.Date mode: a setting that puts your phone on silent during your date, only allowing calls or texts from contacts you deem important enough to interrupt (like if you have kids). Could also have a "bad date ender" function that makes it ring so you can take a fake emergency call and end your date early (without having to rely on a friend to make the call for you). This could either be activated by a timer, so it goes off automatically 30 minutes into the date or by the push of a button, that waits about 5 minutes (so not to be obvious) and then goes off. Would be cool if it was sophisticated enough to sound like someone was talking to you on the other end.Conversation starters: To help you not be so boring after you explain what you do for a living and where you are from and blah blah blah. This could be easily pulled up while in date mode.Coaching: After a date, the app could prompt you to evaluate how it went. It could help bad listeners (who hog the conversation) by asking them to list 3 things they learned about their date. If it went well, it could follow up with a list of possible reasons the user felt it was a good date and why so they could repeat those behaviors in the future and vice versa if it went badly. This might help the user identify patterns that are causing them to be unsuccessful. I hope this helps!

If you're talking about Bookmarks on Yahoo! Toolbar, you can find your answer on the links below.

Using Yahoo! Toolbar

If you're talking about Favorites on Internet Explorer 7, click the gold star on the left of the toolbar, or press Alt + c on your keyboard to get your Favorites, click the gold star with the green plus sign to add to favorites, and if you want the Menu Bar with File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help to show, right click a gray blank space on the toolbar, and on the popup menu click Menu Bar.

If you only need the Menu Bar with File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help to appear temporarily just press the Alt key on your keyboard. This way your toolbar doesn't take up as much of your screen. If you want it to stay permanently, right click on a gray blank space on the toolbar and click Menu Bar.

Where should I look for my missing favorite Yankees hat?

If you can describe it well, or have a picture either go directly to the New Era website, or contact someone over at Lids. Worse come to worse, create it yourself.

What is the best way to drop cable TV without missing my favorite programs?

You are right that cable TV is too expensive compared to life's other indulgences. It has outpriced itself and quality continues to drop. However, I feel you are asking the wrong question if you are going to be happy in the "cord cutting world." We've lived without cable TV (or satellite) now for almost five years. But my wife and I still watch a lot of TV.We use a combination of Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus. We also get Netflix DVDs by mail. The way I would change your question is to drop "without missing my favorite programs." This is what gets most people into trouble. With this move away from cable towards cord-cutting, you have to be satisfied with what is available to you (which is a lot) and not dead-set on making sure you can still see your favorites. This sounds harsh, but I think this single attitude change is the biggest cost saver. With only Netflix streaming and Hulu Plus, your monthly bill will drop from $80 down to $16. Imagine what you'd do with all that money...Having said all that, your favorite shows are probably available on either Netflix or Hulu. They have a ton of choices. However, there are notable, great shows missing. HBO series are either non-existent or are only available years after they are off-the-air. Many TNT/TBS shows are not available. Sports is a huge problem. If you are a sports lover, stop reading right now and just happily pay your $80/month.I hope this is helpful. Sometimes it is good to change your question slightly to get a better answer.
