Can people find out my Instagram through my phone number?
I have an account on Instagram, I was wondering if people could see my account by having me as a contact. My Instagram is not connected to MY contacts, but will other people see it if they have their insta connected to their contacts? It says it isn't connected to any phone. If you're wondering why I'm doing this, it's because I don't want a lot of my contacts to know about my Instagram.
Why is it that, in some profiles on Instagram, last seen is not working properly?
It's not about that whether their last seen is working properly or not, it's about that whether thay have turned on their Activity Privacy or not. If they have turned this thing on, then no one would be able to see their last activity. You will just see a line Tap to Chat.And don't worry after turning this setting on, even they would not be able to see activity status of others.
My Instagram account is getting new followers daily but are not showing on my profile. The count appears to be stuck at a number. Why is that?
There is no way, that I know of, that Instagram’s software can somehow show the wrong number of followers/ following, save for some weird bug that would surely be sorted out fairly sharpish.Don’t make the mistake of thinking that any new follower you get is a permanent follower that is somehow committed to your account and will be a follower for life.As an Instagrammer of 3 years, I can tell you that a majority of new followers (maybe even as much as 95% or higher) are just following you because they’ve allowed a bot to follow all accounts that use a certain hashtag, or follow a certain other user (or follow users according to some other parameters they’ve set).You’re being targeted because you fit into a certain perceived demographic, not usually because this real account has actually seen your work and somehow been so completely in awe of it that they just had to give you a follow.Whether or not you follow them back, it makes no difference. They are programmed to unfollow everyone they followed within a set period of time, so they can go ahead and follow the next batch of 1,000, 2,000 accounts or whatever. (It just has to be under 7,500 as per Instagram’s limitations).So let’s say the bot unfollows everyone one week after the initial follow. Your new followers you picked up today are still following you in a week, but followers from last week have now unfollowed you.These days Instagram has just grown so big, with so many content creators out there, that the days of standing out as a new account by just having informative, engaging, attractive content are gone. The days when you would get genuine comments and new followers from an admiring public are likewise gone the way of the Betamax.In my opinion, the only way that accounts experience growth is by having absolutely extraordinary content that literally no-one else in their niche is doing, or by follow/unfollow with one of the many bot systems. What worked in early 2018 doesn’t work in late 2018. What works now won’t work in 2019.The new advice is don’t get transfixed on the numbers. Engagement is meant to be more important, but I agree it’s hard to get high (or even any) engagement when not many accounts follow you, and your stuff isn’t being shown to those that do. It’s a bit of a Catch 22.
Instagram wont refresh feed?
On wifi, Instagram will not refresh feed or load profiles which is weird because twitter works, the internet works, and oovoo. Instagram is the only apo that's doing this
INSTAGRAM BLOCKED ALL MY ACTIONS?
Every time I attempt to: -like a picture -comment on my pictures or other people's -change my previous comments -delete my previous comments -change my bio -caption my pictures There's a notification that reads: "Our security system has detected that a lot of people are posting the same content, which could mean that it's spam. Please try a different post. We restrict certain contents and actions to protect our community. Tell us if you think we made a mistake." I've "told them" many times, and nothing's changed. Basically I can't do anything but post pictures without captions and use my DM. Help!!
Instagram is updated. Why is last seen not seen?
Well, actually Last Seen option was introduced so that everyone could be able to see the latest time others were online on Instagram.But Instagram also give everyone the option of Showing the Activity Status to others or not.Hence if anyone hide his/her activity status, then no one can see his/her recently active status and he/she will also not be able to see the recent active status of anyone.This feature works like “Last Seen” option on WhatsApp as well, if you hide your Last Seen option from others you will also not be able to use this feature.As you have asked this for Instagram so I will tell you where you can find this option;Go the Settings option of your profile, depend on the operating system you are using either the Setting icon in IOS or Three Dots icon in Android.Switch on/off “Show Activity Status”.Therefore one reason behind unable to see others status might be that you have disabled this option for others. If you haven’t disabled this option for others then surely they have disabled.
Denied or Accepted on Instagram?
I don't know if there are any visual signs when they don't accept other than they aren't listed under "following." I think it goes back blue... When someone blocks you, the follow button, when clicked, doesn't do anything. It just stays blue.
Why is my Instagram feed not loading, "couldn't refresh feed"? It has been happening for 1 week.
Give this a try it worked for me. I went through the exact same issue on my iPhone.→Logout from ur own account which has the problem.—>login with some different account (friend's or make a new one).—>In this alternate account (which will work without any problem) go to setting and click Add account.-->now add your own account.After you are logged with both accounts keep refreshing feeds and surfing on alternate account and switch to your own account after few mins. This should get your account working as well. This won't work on first switch so give 4–5 try's.Once you have your account working you can logout of ur alternate account.Worked for me hope it will for you too.
