My iPhone 6 won't charge?
I got my phone two months ago and I keep getting a message when I try to charge it that says "This cable or accessory is not authorized for this iPhone" or something like that. I've tried restarting it and plugging it into the computer and there's still nothing. And my charger isn't even a third party charger, it came in the box with my phone

My phone ran out of charge, so i put it on the charger about an hour ago. When I hit the home button, the symbol that means the phone is charging comes up. However, that has been going on ever since I charged it. How can I fix this problem?

Very recently, I noticed a problem with my iPhone 5- namely, if the USB cable was inserted at a particular angle, the phone wouldn't charge. Figuring that it was just some debris that had gotten into the slot, I used a pin to clean the port out. Which has now led to another, much more serious problem: after plugging in the USB cable, I found that my iPhone won't charge AT ALL. I've tried everything- jiggling the cable around, using different cables, turning the phone off and on again, and plugging it into my computer, but so far nothing's gotten a response. With this in mind, I have to conclude that I damaged the charging contacts when I tried to clean out the slot. So my question is, what should I do next? Do I need to take it to an Apple Store, or will any electronics store be able to have a look at it?

My iphone 5 Won't charge?
My iphone 5 (which I've had since the 1st day of release ) won't charge . I plug it into the wall and my moms car but it won't charge unless the battery has complety died , then it charges just enough to turn on and get to 3-10 % but i won't get past that and it will eventually die again . I don't think it's the phone or the wall outlets because I've had my iphone in a otterbox since day one and rarely take it out . The wall outlets charge everything else including my laptop . Is it the USB cable ? If so why while it charge my phone to only 10% or enough to turn on . I can leave it charging for a while but it would be as if it wasn't plugged in. What happens if i reset it , I have a contract with Verizon, while I still have service if i reset ? While it repair my problem

Hi ,My Answer would be looking little non technical at first view but its as per my own experience in my service center .So many time in iPhone after using more than 1 yr the Charging Connector Slot is full of Dust and Small Particles inside which do not allow the charging cable to get connected and the phone doesn’t get charged .You can Use a Toothbrush and try to clean it . Other Best tool would be a needle which will pull the bunch of dust out of the charging connector . Which will mostly solve your problem .2. Now after this if its still not charging then … Sorry but its a problem of the Charging Connector Flex Cable in 80% cases . Here I am not doing any specific discussion about the Lightening cable because its very common sense that first to be checked is obveously charging cable and charging dock . Soo You can approach any good service center for the replacement of the Charging Flex which won’t cost you much (In India app 1200 Rs for iPhone 5s ) …3. Even after this the problem is not solved then it would be a Charging IC Problem which will be really tough job for you to find the perfect technician .In these 2nd and 3rd case the Authorised Service center Apple care would suggest the Unit Replacement only but its very costly …Good Luck !!!

Can anyone help me? I noticed it was stuck on the apple logo screen and would stay there for 10 seconds then the screen would go Blue for a second. Then it would go back to the apple logo anyone know what I should do

There are really helpful steps here (What to do if your iPhone or iPad will not turn on)This has probably happened to everyone at some time: You press the POWER button on your iPhone - and nothing happens. Usually, this can be resolved easily. Either your battery has run down, or iOS has "crashed" and needs to be rebooted. On rare occasion the firmware has been corrupted, but let's save that for last. The following steps will usually get your phone working again in a few seconds: Unless you are absolutely certain that there is plenty of charge left on the battery, connect the phone to a wall charger for at least 15 minutes. If it was just a low battery the phone will come on by itself. If it doesn't go to step 2.Hold the HOME and POWER (aka SLEEP) at the same time. An Apple logo should appear in 10 - 20 seconds. Relase both buttons, wait about a minute, and your phone should be back to normal.Occasionally it may be necessary to toggle the Mute switch a couple of times before Step 2. No one is sure why, but sometimes it helps if just holding the 2 buttons doesn't work. If absolutely nothing happens after step 3. either your phone is broken, your cable is defective, or your charger has failed. Try different chargers and cables to isolate the problem. Or take all of them to an Apple store for diagnosis (make a genius bar appointment before going). If you get an error message, or you see a picture of a USB plug and iTunes, you will need to restore your phone with iTunes. This, fortunately, is a very rare occurrence.

It is inpossible to diagnose such issues theough such a forum. I can offer a few pointers, and facts.If the iPhone battery drains to the point that the phone shuts down, then it will refuse to power on until the charge exceeds a minimum threshold.Only MFi certified cables and chargers can be trusted to work right.Cables with any visible damage cannot he trusted to work right.Cables with sharp bends / kinks cannot be trusted to work right.Knowing all the above, make sure you have an MFi certified charger with minimum 1amp — I recommend a 2.4amp USB charger. Make sure you have a good cable, with no physical damage and no kinks — damaged cables ma work most of the time, but if a wire is broken internally, there is no way of knowing that it is feeding a charge to the phone, since the phobe will not show you a charge indicator until it is partially charged. Plug the iPhone into the good cable and charger, and let it sit for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, you should see the charging indicator. Since this is a plus model, wait another 10–15 minutes before teying tonturn on the phone. If the phone will not power on still, give the phone another hour (to be sure it has a decent charge — if it is still able to take a charge — then press and hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. It may have crashed hard, and not actually be dead, but frozen. In this case, pres and hold the power and home button for up to 1 minute until the apple logo appears. This is the forced reset button sequence.Fir iphone 7 or newer, you would press and hold the volume up and down buttons along with the power button the do the same reset.If this does not work, you battery may be bad.
