My Iphone Is Being Linked To Other Devices.

How to get my media onto other devices?

I have an iPhone (6) and recently as a gift I got a kindle fire. I have music, pictures, & lots of books on my iPhone. Is there some way I can get them on my kindle fire? Is there an app or some way to sync my devices? I tried myself & couldn’t figure it out. I mainly want the books, & then music.

How do I know when my phone is synced to another device?

Hi, I'm not sure what actually is the question but if u want to know about someone spying you through your phone, this might helpSomeone borrowed or took your phone, they may have installed phone control app that you might never know The app shows up with the name “Android System” in the applications manager so it doesn’t look suspicious. If you think someone could do something like this when you’re not with your phone, secure your phone with a passcode that isn’t easy to guess.Your phone is acting weirdly, Taking long time to reboot or shutting down, lighting up for no reason, suddenly getting much shorter battery life or running hot when you’re not using it may indicate hidden processes are running in the background.Your data usage skyrockets for no reason, This could be because your phone is checking in with someone else, using GPS and sending them text messages or emails that communicate where you are and what you’re doing.Once you got attack the best thing to do is factory reset, once you reset you will lose your data stored in the phone. You can backup your data but who knows one of your data has the same Spyware. After reset use strong passwords to prevent unauthorized access to your phone. There are free apps (app notifier for Android phone), which will email you when any apps are loaded or installed onto your phone.Hope this help, if not please make the question clear n simple….

How can I check if I'm syncing with another phone or devices?

Getting the data you need is really tasking, but why do you really need such data? its illegal to search through peoples phones and devices;private life in general, but still we have to be sure of what we are getting ourselves into these days, in this life one thing i know is that Karma exists and it could clap back anything, can we not be cheats and be loyal and honest with each other, life is short and you only live once; #YOLO. The latter of the case should always be reckoned with, of which it would be known eventually what would be the data at hand afterwards. Definitely

How to stop (apple) device syncing from the device being synced?

You are asking about revoking trust
With iOS 7

You cannot untrust with iOS 7. Once you respond with "Trust", you cannot change it. If it's not prompting you now when you connect, it means you have chosen to trust it before.

With iOS 8, Apple has provided ways to untrust all previously trusted computers (there is no way to untrust computers selectively). Depending on how you do it, this will result in losing your location and privacy settings or losing your network settings or losing everything with the "erase device" option. The 'Trust This Computer' alert on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch KB article referenced above has been updated as follows:

If you tap Trust, the computer will be trusted until you untrust all computers or you erase the device. If you tap Don't Trust, you'll see this alert each time you connect your device to that computer.

If you're using iOS 8 or later: To untrust all computers, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Location & Privacy. This will also reset your location and privacy settings. You can also untrust all computers by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will also reset your network settings.

Can I still track my iPhone even if the SIM card is taken out?

If the phone is "Offline" it usually either means that either the phone is off, the battery is dead, it's in airplane mode OR it isn't connected to wifi or using cellular data. You should be able to track it if the person starts using your data or a wifi network. If they totally reset it though, you might not be able to track it.EDIT: BUT here's good news! According to this support article on Apple's website, Activation Lock is turned on by default when you turn on Find My iPhone (which you are obviously using). Activation Lock asks you for the Apple ID and password before you can reset the device, sign out of iCloud, or turn off Find my iPhone. So as long as you didn't turn off Activation Lock, the person can't reset your device. (You probably didn't, it's one of those hidden settings that are hard to find anyway.) If you login to iCloud with your Apple ID and password, you can use this page to see if activation lock is on or not: https://www.icloud.com/activatio.... (You have to know the serial number of your iPhone for that though, and I'm not sure how you can do that since you don't have the iPhone.) I know lost mode can be turned on on iCloud in the Find My iPhone app, or you can do it on other devices associated with the same Apple ID as your lost iPhone. Lost mode allows you to lock the person out of the device (can't get back in unless they know your passcode or unless they have a fingerprint registered). It also lets you put a contact phone number and a message on there, so they will know who to return it to.I don't think your SIM being taken out will stop you from tracking it. Others are saying it would, I'm not really knowledgeable about that. If they join a wifi network, you should be able to find it (again, only if they didn't completely reset it). I am not 100% sure what will happen if they reset it, because I've just never had to think about it or deal with that before.I'm so sorry you lost your iPhone! I do hope you'll find it soon safe and sound! Thanks for asking me to answer!

None of my devices can get an IP address but my roommates and others do.?

lol the guy above me is wrong

whats going on is that since all your roommates and friends got internet is cause they used up the DHCP table (this allows a number of devices to connect to a router and saves these settings till a router refresh) witch is what your doing unplugging it and plugging it back in

Definition of DHCP from wiki
(The Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) is a network configuration protocol for hosts on Internet Protocol (IP) networks. Computers that are connected to IP networks must be configured before they can communicate with other hosts. The most essential information needed is an IP address, and a default route and routing prefix. DHCP eliminates the manual task by a network administrator. It also provides a central database of devices that are connected to the network and eliminates duplicate resource assignments.)

but what your doing if wrong to do cause if you unplug the router and dont refresh whats providing you internet witch could be a cable modem or a DSL modem you have the chances of slowing down your connection

what you can do if you have access to it
is go into your routers settings 192.168.1.1 and put in the log in and pw

right in the main page it should show something like this

DHCP # with a fill in box change the number there to a number you feel that would allow you and your roommates and their buddies to connect

once changed refresh everything and it should all go back to normal

wish you luck and hope it works out
