If you charge your iPhone on someone else's computer, will they see your photos and videos?
They could if they tried. But those items do not automatically transfer. The necessary connection is there, but the computer has to send a command to your phone to copy files. Meanwhile the DC voltage available on the USB connector charges your phone. So, they COULD see your stuff, but only if they take that action. I suppose somebody could set up an automatic transfer whenever anything with a memory is plugged into the computer, so if that’s the case the transfer could happen without anybody doing anything extra. Do you trust the person whose computer you’re borrowing?
Iphone wont connect to wifi?
I was having the same problem on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G. This worked for me: Go in to Settings then WiFi, tap the arrow next to your network name and turn on Auto-Join then wait a few seconds without doing anything. All 3 devices then automatically connected and stayed connected.
Iphone 5 won't connect to home wifi anymore?
Up until about two days ago I could sit in bed and use the wifi at home normally with no problems. Now whenever I go to my room it won't connect! However if I use a laptop that connects just fine. The connection is practically nonexistent unless i'm standing in the same room as the router or at least reallllly close to that room. It's never done this before. I used to have excellent connection throughout the bottom level of our house and my room upstairs. Why is it doing this???? How do I fix it? Ive already tried rebooting the router and forgetting the network on my phone and then rejoining it. Ive also tried turning my phone on and off so what do I do?
What happens if I "trust" a computer when my iphone is connected to it?
If I connected my iphone to someone else's Apple computer to charge it and accidentally clicked "trust this computer", does the computer have access to all my photos and apps even after I disconnect the iphone? Does the computer also have access to my email and iMessage even if it is disconnected?
