IPhone 4 not charging?
Before this happened, how long was the battery lasting on a charge? Did you clean all of the dust/lint/ debris out of the dock connector? A buildup can sometimes prevent a good connection. To be honest it sounds like water damage. This usually happens to a phone after exposure to water once the battery contacts corrode. If it is water damage, apple won't replace it. If it isn't water damage, they still probably won't replace it since its out of warranty. Go into the apple store expecting to buy a new phone...odds are that the repair bill will likely cost as much as a 4S anyway.
My iphone 6 shut off and will not turn on?
I've had it for around a year and I've dropped it a hand full of times resulting in one crack. I've went through a few chargers so many the problem is something to do with the battery? It was around 60 percent when it randomly shut off. Even if it had died, the dead battery warning would show up whereas when I hold down the power button it stays a black screen. I also have a lot of videos, photos, and music videos on my phone. My phone constantly tells me it is not backed up. Considering my lack of storage, I don't update it often. This has happened once before but it came back on within an hour. Today it shut off no later than 1 pm, it still has not turned back on (11:00 pm). Has this happened to anyone else? Should i just take it to a phone store?

Even then, don’t plan on using it much as it is crazy expensive to use Airtel in the US. But you might want to use it once per month for a very short call to ensure that Airtel doesn’t cancel your account (if you’ve linked your Indian bank account, for example, to your telephone number, it can be very inconvenient to change it to a new number when you return.)

don't buy Verizon iPhone, its a cdma phone doesn't take simcard(gsm) and Verizon has both iPhone 4 and 4S sprint iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S is cdma too. avoid any iPhone 4 or 4s with sprint and Verizon. they have no place to put a simcard. buy an unlocked iPhone 4 or AT&T(which takes simcard) which you will have to unlock. make sure it hasn't been updated to IOS5 otherwise you might not be able to unlock it till the developers crack the unlocking code for new ios and the new base-band. its should be coming out soon. the iPhone 4s comes with ios5 on it so if you cant get it unlocked then don't buy it till unlock available. if you buy an iPhone 4 from at&t then make sure its not updated to the new ios 5 since it cant be unlocked right now. if you buy an unlocked iPhone 4 then you are good to go.

No. The iPhone 4 does not, in any case, support any version of iOS later than iOS 7.1.2. The iPhone 4 does not support iOS 8, iOS 9, and will not support iOS 10. Apple has not released a version of iOS later than 7.1.2 that is physically compatible with an iPhone 4— that being said, there is no way for you to “manually” upgrade your phone— and for good reason. Apple has not allowed the iPhone 4 to support these more recent versions of iOS because the hardware simply can't handle it. iOS 7 on the iPhone 4 is already slow and sluggish— imagine iOS 9 or even iOS 10. It will be a terrible experience. The iPhone 4 is a six year old phone now— and if you are still carrying it around, I would recommend upgrading, if and when possible.
