My Ipod 4 Starts To Turn On Shows The Apple Symbol. Then Goes Black. And Repeats Without Me Even

What's the story behind Apple's half eaten apple fruit logo?

I recently found the real reason behind the half eaten Apple logo and it’s extremely interesting.Do you know this guy? This is Alan Turing and is seen as one of the first inventors of the computer. Although this all sounds very happy, Alan Turing had to take medicine to ‘cure’ his homosexuality.Depression hit quickly and not much later, Alan Turing had commited suicide.Do you know how he killed himself? He poisoned himself. How? Well… when he was found, he was found witha half eaten apple. To which extend this story actually is the reason behind the logo of Apple is not sure, but no matter what it makes me freaking happy to imagine the logo of the biggest company of all time is one that functions as a memorial to the inventor of the first computer.Stay hungry, stay foolish

Why does my iPhone storage keep filling even when I'm doing nothing? I keep deleting MB of photos, etc., but each night, the storage fills again, even when I do nothing with it.

Plug your iPhone into iTunes a note the size of "Documents & Data" and/or "Other".Those usually are the culprit. Just this week the same thing happened to me with Documents & Data. It began increasing at a rapid rate (it grew more than 15 gigs in 2 days). I hadn't installed any new apps, nor have I added any documents or data to my iPhone. I have everything iCloud photo sharing and Photo Stream off as well. Also under manage storage, I manually added all the storage the individual apps are using and they did not add up to the size of Documents & Data that iTunes is reporting.Long story short, manually removing individual apps didn't work and I couldn't figure out what or where this data is coming from so here is what I did and it worked:Backup your iPhone to iTunes.Make sure your Photos as backed up with Photos app (or somewhere else if you are using Windows)(This goes for Contacts, Notes and anything else you can think of, just make sure to back them up somewhere other than the iTunes backup, you'll understand why in a bit)Restore your iOS on your iPhone.Restore your iPhone from your backup. If the Documents & Data are reasonable (1-3gb) Congratulations! If Documents & Data come back to the large size they were, then you most likely have a corrupt backup in which case, Restore iOS on your iPhone again but this time set the iPhone up as a new iPhone.Sync everything again manually (since you have saved them somewhere other than iTunes)Yes this is tedious, but at least you'll get your storage space back. This is extremely helpful if you have a 16GB iPhone. (I have a 64GB and it drove me crazy)Hope this helps!Cheers!UPDATEI finally figured out what the problem was: Whatsapp. They released a new version about a week ago and it seems there was a bug in it that caused this massive surge in "Documents & Data". Since then a new version has been released. (v2.12.15) Make sure you update to that version and wait a little while a see that the storage should return to its normal state.

Why is my iPod Classic stuck on "do not disconnect"?

I still think the iPod Classic is still an excellent device, but “Do not Disconnect” used to annoy me and this could be a Firmware issues, or the iPod was unplugged improperly in sudden, or non official Application that must people use as alternative to iTunes specially if you are using Windows; in that case you better use only iTunes. But before I proceed with my humble solution, I want to tell you some time you need an iTunes. There is an Option in iTunes that backup your iPod, uncheck it.Don't Worry; it could be solved easilyTo reset your iPod with a click wheel, follow these steps:Slide the Hold switch to the locked position and then slide it to unlocked again.Press and hold the Menu and Center (or Select) buttons together until you see the Apple logo (about six to eight seconds). You might need to repeat this step.If your iPod won't respond when you press the buttons or won't turn on, it might be paused or the Hold switch might be in the locked position. If so, you'll see a lock symbol on the screen. Slide the Hold switch to the unlocked position, then try again.Resetting your iPod shouldn't affect these:Your music and other files
Most settings
The date and time—unless your iPod lost power and reset when you plugged it into power

Your Bookmarks, On-The-Go Playlists, Shuffle, and Backlight timer
Hope this could help, Just remember when you connect your iPod make sure you eject it from the icon in the iTunes

My iPhone keeps opening Siri randomly for no reason. Is the same with the music. I've used a lot of data because iTunes Radio keep coming on. What should I do?

It's your headphones that are to blame. When reading your question, the first thing that came to my mind was that the home button is being pressed inadvertently. Either that or the "Hey Siri" feature. However, most especially after reading about iTunes radio, I suspect that it is your headphones. On some occasions, you are probably accidentally pressing the play/pause button on your headphones, and this causes the radio to start playing. Sometimes, you are long-pressing the same button, which causes Siri to come online. Are these new headphones? Wired or Bluetooth? Are they badly designed, leading to you accidentally pressing buttons? Or maybe you are unfamiliar with them, perhaps not even realising that there is a button?Either that, or it’s a loose connection in the headphones cable, that’s having the same effect

In "I Am Legend"... (possible spoilers)?

The virus became air borne, so that everyone who was not immune got it. So, no one could avoid it, because it was in the air -- which is everywhere.

Will Smith didn't get it because he was naturally immune to it, like everybody in the village at the end. He wasn't the only one -- at one point in the movie, he gave a statistic of how many people had been infected and how many were immune. There were millions who were immune, but since they were so many less immune people, most of them were killed by the infected people. So the only remaining ones were like Will Smith and the people in the village. Because he and the lady and her son were out by themsevles, we can assume there were other people trying to survive alone.

WHY he was immune is just a scientific thing. In real life, some people cannot get certain diseases, while others can. This can just be from the way they are born, or because throughout their life they were in an enviroment that make them immune. Just like some people have allergies/asthma and others don't. (-=

How do you know if someone has blocked you on FaceTime?

There is basically no way to definitely tell for certain, other  than Rob Hooft's rather clever suggestion of placing a call to the person while they're nearby, and you know that they otherwise don't have data coverage or have set their iPhone to Do Not Disturb. FaceTime won't behave any differently when calling somebody who has blocked you versus calling somebody who simply doesn't answer or is out of coverage. Trying other methods works as well -- you can try calling them via a normal iPhone call -- assuming you normally reach them via FaceTime at a phone number rather than an email address -- to see if the call goes straight to voicemail after one ring or less, however this can also be the case on some carriers if they're simply out of cellular coverage or have set their iPhone to Do Not Disturb mode to avoid all calls. Sending them an iMessage can work as a diagnostic as well, assuming you know they have Read Receipts enabled. However, I disagree with the point made in the article link referred to by Shane Elliott that suggests that most users have Read Receipts enabled. This is not the default setting on iOS, so most users probably don't think to enable it unless they have a specific reason to do so. In the end, it's very difficult to know for certain, other than a simple inability to get through to them. Then again, if someone is ignoring your calls and texts to that extent, they might as well have blocked you regardless of their iPhone setting -- they clearly don't want to communicate with you either way. At that point, "blocking" is just semantics.
