My Ipod 7th Generation Keeps Getting Stuck On

IPod nano 7th gen volume button stuck?

The up volume button on my iPod nano got stuck today out of nowhere. It's hard to press and when it presses it does absolutely nothing. I already tried using alcohol to try and clean it out and trying to resync it with iTunes but nothing is working. I don't want to risk taking it apart and I don't have the funds to get a new iPod. I bought my iPod off of Ebay so I can't take it to Apple. Any solutions?

6th generation Ipod Classic vs 7th generation Ipod Classic?

Hi, I am looking for a new Ipod and classics have lots of space and aren't too small, so i though i might get one of them. But i don't know which to get the 6th or the 7th generation (before anyone says anything i know that there are only 3 gen). So i was wondering if their are any major differences other than the space and the anti-fingerprint screen. I heard something about a difference in genius but I'm not sure about that.

Any information about the differences would be helpful.

I have never fixed an iPod 5th gen but I have done about 10 iphone 5’s and a couple of 5s’. They're easy. Watch iFixit tutorials or similar on YouTube. Buy the tools from eBay. Usually £1 and follow along. A little fiddly but manageable even for someone non technical. I must say if you have any doubts after watching the tutorial don't do it, but I can manage it, so it must be easy. Lol.

I have ipod classic 160 gb 7th gen and it is stuck on the apple logo screen ive had it for a couple months and?

since it under the 1 year Apple warranty u shud call Apple corp. and send it to them (Fedex) and they will fix everything perfectly and send it back to u.

It can't be done. The iCloud lock is an anti-theft measure. By design, it can only be unlocked by the owner. There's a good chance it was stolen. If you want to be a good person, contact Apple to see if you can get it returned to its rightful owner.

I still think the iPod Classic is still an excellent device, but “Do not Disconnect” used to annoy me and this could be a Firmware issues, or the iPod was unplugged improperly in sudden, or non official Application that must people use as alternative to iTunes specially if you are using Windows; in that case you better use only iTunes. But before I proceed with my humble solution, I want to tell you some time you need an iTunes. There is an Option in iTunes that backup your iPod, uncheck it.Don't Worry; it could be solved easilyTo reset your iPod with a click wheel, follow these steps:Slide the Hold switch to the locked position and then slide it to unlocked again.Press and hold the Menu and Center (or Select) buttons together until you see the Apple logo (about six to eight seconds). You might need to repeat this step.If your iPod won't respond when you press the buttons or won't turn on, it might be paused or the Hold switch might be in the locked position. If so, you'll see a lock symbol on the screen. Slide the Hold switch to the unlocked position, then try again.Resetting your iPod shouldn't affect these:Your music and other files

Hope this could help, Just remember when you connect your iPod make sure you eject it from the icon in the iTunes

Well that button has a certain functionality to it. From popping the button you can use it to attach it to the wrist strap. The iPod Touch Loop simply pops up when you push on it and then you attach the strap, it's that simple. Every iPod Touch 5G comes with the same color loop to match the iPod. The “iPod touch loop” attaches with a pop-out button. Though the initial images may have looked like Apple’s packed-in wrist strap attached magnetically, the iPod touch actually has a swirled metal button that pops out of the case’s back to provide a place to attach a flexible strap. Apple will also sell iPod touch loops separately.

It’s hard to say without knowing your situation but I’ll try anyway. The current iPod touch seems a bit outdated, but Apple seems to have lost interest in it. At the price however, it’s rather expensive. If you are not stuck on iOS, check out some budget android phones. They do almost everything an iPod can, while also allowing you to call and use data. I would personally suggest something like a Oneplus X for cheaper, or look at something a bit better. They will outpace the iPod and probably be better unless you absolutely need the latest software update, as Android devices frequently never get updated.Disclaimer: My advice is just a suggestion. I am not responsible for anything you do because of it.
