There are atleast two methods which have been tried and tested with 100% success.Microwaving: Put you phone inside microwave and run the timer for 5 to 7 seconds. Just 3 seconds may work but depending upon the shielding of the main board or other parts, it may only nuke it partially. There is no visible marking outside. But make sure to blow away the nasty smoke.Bypass the charger: As said by some other guys, you can cut the wire from the root of your charger and connect those two red and black terminals directly to the mains outlet. As it is very risky, make sure that phone is already plugged in with the another end of connector and you are only touching the insulated part of the wire. If your phone is of modern type with usb charging socket, you dont have to ruin the charger. Just cut any usb cable and connect those red and black terminal to the outlet. Once again this method leaves no visible mark outside but will be fried from inside.Sometimes you can pass only 30 to 40 volts to the terminal and expect the phone to be dead, with no visible mark inside or outside. Try also reversing the polarity. If you posses variable power supply, i recommed increasing the voltage gradually starting from about 7volts until the phone dies. Make sure you take the battery out during this process, if possible.Most of the time those usb killer wont work. Most phones are enabled with some sort of surge protection and they cant be fried with those little usb killer. Moreover, for the usb killer to work, the phone should support usb otg and not all phones do that.
