Ipod nano 2nd generation Wont Shut Off?
to turn it off you hold down the bottom button (the play/pause one) and it turns off. maybe you should reset it again (hold menu + center till an apple appears) and then try turning it off (hold the play/pause button)
IPod Nano 6th Generation wont turn on without power source?
Hey, I have an iPod Nano 6th Generation and it will not turn on unless I have it plugged in and charging. It remains unresponsive no matter what I try. It often turns itself off too randomly. This happens more and more frequently to the point that I now cannot listen to music for much longer than 2 hours- last time I listened to music, it lasted 17minutes. I have read on the internet about it being something to do with the headphones, it's not that! I have reset it, rebooted it... everything! I heard about the menu you can access by pressing power on/off and the + and - volume buttons, I have done that and have the menu up. I'm unsure what do press though. Would REALLY appreciate ANY help you can offer! Thank you so much!

How do I switch off my iPod Nano (3rd generation)??
Last night the battery was about three quarters full and I pressed the Play/Pause button for a few secs until the screen went black and I thought it was switched off. However, this morning when I switched it on it said I need to recharge it as the battery had finished. I don't understand why this is :S Do I have to put it in sleep mode first, to switch it off? HELP!
Why won't my 8GB 3rd generation ipod nano charge?
when i plug it into the computor it alternates between being off, showing me an apple, or telling me that the battery is low and i should connect to power even though its connected to the computor. Its not the cord because my bro. has the same ipod and uses the same cord as me and his works

Well, tough luck!First of all, dry it out and try it out. If it works, its all good right? For that you need to visit an Apple service provider in your locality and get your Nano checked out.It is a very situational question because Apple service providers in India are not upto mark according to me as they should be. How do you fix an iPod Nano when it continually reboots when turned on?
SOLVED. I needed to reset my iPod by keeping the center and play button in for several seconds. iTunes then did a re-sync of my music collection.
