I'm an apple expert with over 15 years experience, alright so you are in luck!!! DO the following exactly as I say and you should be back on your way to a working iPod: 1) Plug the iPod into a power source to charge 2) Press and hold the center button and menu button at the same time for 10 seconds 3) If it does not power on, toggle the hold switch back and forth while holding down the button configuration in step 2. 4) Repeat process without it plugged into the charger. 5) Sometimes condensation gets inside of these things and prevents them from initially starting up. Everytime you power that baby on it goes through a self test of the system components on board, if something fails you won't see anything..could be internally damaged if it won't turn on
My ipod has been charging for 3 hours now and wont turn on what do i do?
I put the ipod on the charger and it says "Connected: Eject before disconnecting" I ejected it, took it OFF the charger, and it's just a black screen, won't turn on, or anything. Do I just let it keep charging? Or is there something wrong with it? I bought it used.

I have Lenovo K900 and I have no more warranty. Yesterday my battery empty and I didn't charge it straight away. When I reached home, I tried to plug in the charger but the phone won't turn on and I already tried to connect it to my laptop and PC but still there's nothing happen. Please help me. Why does my new ipod nano turn off after playing about 30 seconds of a song?
well it could be because it is not charged properly if it is an old nano sometimes the lithium battery just dies out to a point where even if you charge it fully it just doesn't work. if not you can always go to the apple store and ask an apple genius and if it is still under warranty they will replace it for you

Do not under any circumstances put it in a microwave. Clearly the person who suggested that has not yet reached puberty. By which i mean he is immature and wants you to break your ipod. If you put it in there then it can cause serious injury or death as the ipod will begin to heat up and the built in battery will explode. And nobody likes battery acid on their face. I suggest what you do is rub it in between your hands for about 5 minutes or put it in between your legs for 5 minutes. try turning it on. If nothing happens then plug it into your computer via a USB cable. Then it hsould light up saying charging or syncing or something along those lines. If it still doesnt work then hold down the home key (the circle one at the bottom) and the sleep key (the one on the top left or right). This will cause it to go into recovery mode and it will delete everything off of your ipod and then any virus that is on it will be gone. Of course you will lose all music on your ipod but you should have it all on your ocmputer anyway. If none of the above works and it is still unresponsive then i suggest you take it to a apple shop or a technology repair shop and ask for their opinion. Always go to more then one though. Just in case you get somebody dodgy who just wants your money :) Hope I helped, Chris

Please don't call Apple Support. Trust me, they won't help anything that's been jailbroken.Try to press Power + Home until something pops up. Why Dose My Ipod Keep Turning Off By Itself (iPod nano 3rd generation)?
For Some Strange Reason On Its Own The iPod Turns Off (During This Time I Still Keep My iPod Fully Charged).I Press All The Buttons On It And Still Nothing.Until I Hooked My iPod Up To My Computer That's When It Turns On Again. So After I Disconnect It From The USB The iPod Shut Off Again.If Im Lucky I Can Get It To Stay On But It Wont Stay On For Too Long Before It Restarts Once More. It Dose Seem To Have Changed A Bit Now If I Keep It On For A While The Brightness Just Goes Off, Cant See The Damn Thing Then It Turns Off Completely. Its Frustrating When Im Just Trying To Listen To Some Music. Help Me Plz!
