My Joints Constantly Hurt In My Knees And I

Why do my knees/joints hurt when it rains or when it's cold? I'm only 18.

I've had the same issue since I was 13, my ankles can predict rain and snow storms with more accuracy than a TV weatherman.There are three types of Juvenile Arthritis, a chronic autoimmune disease where your body decides for some reason to attack its own cells and tissues causing the joints to become stiff. Even if your doc doesn't give you a formal diagnosis of JA, your body still might be reacting in a similar way to some sort of environmental trigger. From what I understand about automimmune diseases, there is a lot of overlap between the diseases/symptoms/triggers, so what may cause a flare-up in me may not trigger a flare-up in you.  But, as a start, you might want to look up the Anti-Inflammatory Diet, by Dr. Andrew Weil. Cutting wheat and refined sugars out of the diet certainly helps the inflammation, but (in my experience) might not get rid of the flare-ups entirely. As preventive measures try: 1. getting good-fitting shoes with arch support/or good inserts.2. stretching, especially the achilles, feet, and hamstrings, quads. 3. adding more food high in potassium into your diet: bananas, strawberries.4. Try not doing high-impact exercises for a few weeks and see if this helps.If you're facing a full-blown attack, try any of these to quell the pain immediately: 1. Have someone sit on your legs for a few minutes until the pain has passed. (Not on the joint itself-- you might end up hyperextending your knee)2. Stretch and/ or myo-fascial release.3. A heating pad, or a combination of heating pad and ice pack. Heat helps to relax muscles, cold helps to reduce inflammation.2. Get yourself a TANS unit (or equivalent) which sends small electrical shocks and relaxes the muscles/tendons in the affected area.  As a side note: if you are exercising more than 1-2 hours a day, you might not be giving your body the right balance of carbohydrates to fats to proteins. When I added more carbohydrates to my diet, a lot of my mysterious pains went away. (But not completely) I've heard similar stories from athletes who try to go on a low-carb diet and then develop mystery aches and pains. Why do my joints hurt after masturbation?

There's no direct link established yet by the medical science if masturbation creates problems in joints, but there is sure this surprising fact that so many people complain about pain in knees, lower back, or having an headache, etc. after masturbation. So probably there's a link between these and masturbation but not yet discovered. Masturbation though certainly negatively affects the immune system and weakens it. So a weak immune system may cause problems anywhere in the body. So best is to try out by not masturbating for at least two months and see how you feel from within and if you get any joint pain, and compare that with earlier. At least something will be ascertained through that, and if you don't get any joint pain, then better to not masturbate. Masturbation can create any type of health problem, but not masturbating never creates any problems. So save it as a post-marriage activity and to be on safer and healthier side.

I’m 14 and there’s a crackling sound in my knees constantly when I exercise with squats. What is causing this sound and is it worrying?

My knees have crackled like that since I was your age. It COULD mean you have or are getting osteoarthritis or it could just be your body growing. The only way to know for sure is to see a licensed medical professional. However, when mine started it didn't hurt for years then it would hurt at certain times and even now it's been 23 yrs and it hurts whenever I get over a certain weight. If I stay below 150 lbs (I'm 5'9), then it rarely hurts, but if I get over that weight then I have to wear knee braces and have trouble getting up and am in a good bit of pain. This is only my personal experience though. Everyone is different.

Is it normal for my joints to constantly pop?

I'm 14, and my joints are always popping, usually when I walk or move my arms and back. Every time I close my left knee it pops. It doesn't hurt or anything, but I heard that this can lead to arthritis. Is this normal?

Also, I've heard that excessive masturbation can cause joints popping. Is there any truth to that statement?

Knee pain occur when it is affected by pseudogout, Septic arthritis. And sometimes joint of the knee become infected, pain, leading to swelling and redness. One of the most common problem of knees are sprained ligaments, tendinitis, meniscus tears and runner’s knee.

Why do my knees hurt after drinking?

After a night of drinking I don't usually have a hangover (sick to stomach, headache, fatigue) but my knees hurt all day. It doesn't matter if im standing or sitting they constantly hurt. I played 4 years of football in high school and lifted weights everyday for those four years. I think its strange because they never hurt unless ive had a lot to drink. Ive looked it up on the internet but cant find why it happens. If anyone has a medical explanation please let me know. Dark liquor, especially whiskey, seems to be when I have the most painful knee pain the next morning.

It could also be the tissue that connects bones to other bones, called ligaments, tightening as you move, or the joint lining moving over bones.Not much of a concern they say.But due to excess uric acid, sometimes. small crystals are formed at the joints causing these kinds of knocking sound while bending those joints but....these occur more prominently at smaller joints like joints in the fingers....not sure about elbows or knees... Better consult a doctor...and do go for more than one opinion

Why do your knees hurt when you sit for a long time?

It's called "Movie goers knee". (Also known as Patello-femoral pain syndrome.)There is general diffuse pain around the front part of your knee. Your knee cap sits in a specific groove in front of your knee joint.If your knee cap is not positioned correctly in this groove, it will rub against the bone behind it. This will cause friction between the 2 bony surfaces is what causes your knee to hurt.This friction is amplified especially when you sit for a long period of time. (driving, watching a movie, sitting at work etc).How to fix it:1. Avoid prolonged sitting:Try to get up every 30-60 minutes. This step alone may prevent the pain.2. Stretch out your quadriceps muscle:Tight quads will pull the knee cap closer to the bone behind it.Hold for at least 30 seconds. Repeat 5 times a day.Make sure you feel the stretch along the front of your thigh.3. Foam roll your ITB (side thigh):Tight muscles can pull your knee cap out of the optimal alignment and cause more friction and rubbing of the bones.Assume position as above. Apply your body weight over the foam roll.Gently roll up/down the side of your thigh.Do this for 1-2 minute. (it will hurt)4. Decrease the amount bending of the knee whilst sitting:The greater the angle of bend in your knee, the more likely the knee cap will rub against the bone behind it. This can be achieved by placing your foot slightly further way, sitting on a higher chair or making sure you are moving your legs every 20 minutes whilst sitting.Hope this helps!

Masturbation causes Knee pain?

I almost masturbate daily. It started when I was 15 yrs. Now I am 20. I can't help it. I don't masturbate using hands mostly, but when I sleep I lie upside down and rub it against the bed and I get ejaculation.

For few days I am sitting and masturbating using hands. My right knee is paining. I know this pain comes whenever I masturbate using hands. I have masturbated nearly 3 times within three hours yesterday and that is how the knee pain started.

Some saying it is because the sperm stuck in your knees, drink water. Some says it is because you making your legs stiff while masturbating, that is the reason.

But I am afraid that it will be a permanent pain. Because I know a lecturer in my college, he is more than 50 yrs old and a sex addict, have no child. He have that pain in his knees, can't walk strait, he did not care in the early stages, so he now can not use his right knee like a normal person. We used to mock him saying like that.

Please give me some advise for this lifeless prick. :-(
