My Laptop Screen Went Black Yesterday Worked Today And Then Went Black Again Any Ideas Paper

Laptop turns on, but the screen is black?

My suggestion would be to unplug the cord from the connection on the computer, then remove the battery. After you've done that, press and hold the On/Off switch for about 60 seconds, then, after you've done that connect everything back together, and see if it will reboot. If not, check the hard drive, and the ram and make sure they are all connected tightly.

After starting my laptop, only the Lenovo screen shows up. What should I do?

I can't get past my pc login screen?

A few days ago I booted up my hp laptop and the login screen was frozen. I kept clicking anywhere on the screen, but it was unresponsive for a good while (maybe around an hour). However, I was able to log in and my laptop was working normally. Yesterday I used my laptop and I realized that whenever I tried to save a picture off the internet or move files, my laptop would just close the internet browser and the desktop would reload and close my files. So I thought restarting my laptop would fix the problem, but then the login screen became unresponsive again. Now today, I tried restarting my laptop multiple times, and sometimes it would turn on but stay on a black screen for about 5 to 10 minutes, and the login screen would be unresponsive again. Sometimes I am able to click around but then it just goes back to being unresponsive. Yesterday, I tried logging in with my password (both typed and picture), and even if I got the password correct it wouldn't log me into the laptop but stay on the login screen. It didnt say my password was wrong, it would just stop loading and stay on the login screen.

Any help is appreciated, I think my laptop is just old and I want to login to back up my personal memories.

How can I fix my laptop after I spilled apple cider on it?

It's going to need a professional clean. It might be dead altogether and cost more to fix than a new one.

If it were mine I wouldn't even think about paying for a repair I'd get a new one. However I might be tempted to have a go myself.

Pull it all apart (you can leave the screen). Take the mother board out and put it into an ultrasonic cleaning bath with some detergent. Follow this with new baths of distilled water until it is clean and well rinsed.

Do the same with all the other modules in their - keyboard, wireless module, etc.

Clean all the plugs with IPA on cotton buds.

Then put everything into the airing cupboard with a desiccant.

It might work again when it's reassembled. If it doesn't it was worth trying. Get a laptop with the same make and model as the one you have so if you break the screen or something you will have a spare.

Sorry, not a lot to advise really. The sugars and acid will have caused permanent damage to the circuit boards.

I spilled coffee in laptop on the keyboard.?

It was alot. Yesterday this happened and I got it to work but today it will not work. I can turn it on but it shows me windows, and then the screen turns black. Should I let it dry out?
