My Leg Bones Are Hurting Me So Much

How much does a broken bone hurt?

Depends on the type of break and where it occurred. I had a compound fracture when I was 7, initial shock told me something was very wrong but apart from some odd sensations no pain. It wasn't til the bone was reset (ie. Rebroke) that a flood of neurochemicals and synaptic responses entered my brain causing a small state of dysphoria. All in all the fixing of my arm was the worst, the rest was mostly discomfort. I've passed many kidney stones and each time I tell myself I'd rather break a bone and have it heal in 24 hours than deal with that crap.P.S. a word of advice when asking questions like this, people like to make up words and scales that have no scientific basis, be cautious.

Why do my bones hurt when i run ?

I'm not sure if what you're referring to is Shin Splints. This pain is a result of an inflamed tendon and is most often felt in the front part of the lower leg & below the knee (anterior to tibia). Check out the link to see if it sounds like anything you're experiencing.

I feel so much pain in my leg bones (tibia and fibula; thigh doesn't hurt) and the surrounding muscles after jogging. What is the likely cause?

Shin splints are a definite possibility. Research shin splints, and if you believe that you have them, you should see a doctor, orthopedic surgeon, or physical therapist about it.Another possibility is form. Buy a book or read about running form on the internet. Consider switching to a zero-drop shoe, which encourage what is considered by many to be a more natural running form. Do really research this option before going for it.Finally, you may simply be increasing mileage or speed to quickly. Don't jump from a short distance to a long one. Work up to it.

Why do my legs hurt in the morning after waking up?

I went for many years with this issue. It was on and off again. Mysteriously cleared up on it's own then came back with a vengeance. Pushed aside by doctors…ect. No one listened. I have a new doctor and it all started with very expensive and extensive blood work plus a series of MRI's and a reuptake scan for my thyroid. Making a long story short…I was diagnosed with hashimoto's thyroiditis then graves disease. The occurrence is rare but very possible. Then as my symptoms kept getting worse, my physician explained that with chronic autoimmune conditions comes the risk of developing other autoimmune disorders and I was sent for more bloodwork. I have recently been diagnosed with lupus. Everything I've been going through has been the result of autoimmune disorders with one leading to another. Extreme fatigue, brain fog, terrible pain in all of my joints, morning stiffness, weight gain, thinning hair, brittle nails, skin rashes, vision problems, hbo, heart palpitations. The list goes on and on. I'm on the road to remission but my point here being, always look deeper in health issues and make sure your physician is listening to you. It took me 12 years to get to this point and this was because doctors didn't listen and only ordered “basic" tests that always came back normal or negative.

My hip bone hurts and around it to. what is wrong?

Hip bone or joint mis aligned, that is why. Go for hip realignment, 10 minutes work.

My bone is sticking out of my leg. It really hurts. Will a splint work, or should I see a Dr.?

Moron! You got a merit badge in first aid and you can't recognise a compound fracture? And you're upset about your jeans? You need to get some brains real quick and re-prioritise your life.

Call an ambulance. Go see a doctor. DO NOT put a splint yourself. DO NOT try and take care of this problem yourself.

And remember. Anytime a bone sticks out of your skin it's a compound fracture. You do not fix it yourself. The human body is not a DIY toy. You just risked an amputation.
