What is up with this My Little Pony obsession?
first off yes there is porn but must bronies don't like the fact there is (including me). Now as to why it is popular that's Easy it's a good cartoon (we are talking about friendship is magic right because the older ones suck!) now by now you most likely got the hint that I like the show yes i do like it but like most people i do not obsess over it. Yes i do defend my right to like the show but no more then i defend my right to like video games (it's just i don't get very much hate for likeing video games.) Now for why I like it 1.it's funny and unlike the old my little ponys it has plot and character development. 2.it's cute (yes that's a reason) ok so i maybe the only one here that finds kittens cute but the show has the same feel to it it just has them O MY GOD THAT IS SO CUTE times in the show. 3. The music most of the songs in the show are very good(not a fan of the opening song). I mean look up smile every pony smile and tell me it was bad. 4. It's a kids show Ok so i have always like kid shows like gumball,adventure time,regular show,foster's home for imaginary friends and older ones like dexter's laboratory and many more well made plot driven(not action based) cartoons. now you may argue that all the cartoons i just said have adult elements that grown ups will get and not kids well this show has that too. some examples are! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rt3y4jkVv... The adult jokes are rarer in season 1(but still there) do to hasbro not knowing that most people that liked the show were adults but now they know and have been makeing them more ofen Well i could put more but i think i have made my point the show is liked by many for a reason. it is a good cartoon now to stop before i come off as some stupid fanboy freak.
Why do many guys like My Little Pony?
Its a very well written show, sure the intro theme is a little corny but the characters each have a distinct personality. The quality of the animation and the small attention to detail is brilliant. Referances and Jokes that only adults would understand make their appearance aswell. The Brony community is one of the most friendily places I've over been on the internet. As for the memes, I wouldn't call the show itself a meme, but it has spawned a load of them. Just stay away from Rule 34 (And those that make it)

Well I have no friends because I'm a loner and I keep to myself no offense but this world is filled with people that's wants me to for do whatever they want and not let me be who I am not hard to be yourself another secret I eat right and walk or ride my bike everyday I get out of my apartment so I ain't lazy get sleep during the day, people are different let them be who they are.

It makes you what is called a closet brony, which I think is pretty self-explanatory. Really, it isn't that big a deal. Just casually bring it up, or drop hints (e.g. change your wallpaper to something MLP) until they ask. Then tell them. It's just a TV show, after all. I understand why you'd be particularly nervous about *this* TV show, but that's all it is nonetheless. If they want to know more, inform them. Chances are they know very little about us or only know the bad. Does anybody remember this girl toy from the 1990s called "Secret Wish Horse"?
They were plastic horses that came in array of colors. They had rooted eyelashes, a bejeweled saddle that would open up to reveal a surprise (earrings, ring or necklace). They also came with what looked like a magic 8 ball necklace and were made by "Tyco."
Should l confront my mother for sharing almost all my secrets with my dad?
In my experience, people who do this will continue doing it no matter what you say.It’s up to you whether to do conflict, but I would not tell her anything important until you’re positive she’s stopped. Like if you trust her with a minor secret and then find out that your dad knows, then you know she won’t stop.I’m guessing your dad said something about your secrets or you overheard her telling him, because otherwise you shouldn’t know she did that.It’s also my experience that people like your dad will continue to use secrets your mom tells you. You did specify if he did anything with them, but if he did, he will probably continue doing so.I recommend asking your mom to stop, and if she says she will, then try a minor secret or a fake secret (like you watch My Little Pony when no one is looking). If that gets told, then you’ll know what to do.
Is watching "My Little Pony" as a 15 year old boy wrong? I'm teased for enjoying the show frequently, and have to majorly suppress my interest in it.
I started watching it during the summer between 9th and 10th grade, when I was 15. A few months into it I discovered the fandom music from looking up the show songs on YouTube. There was actually some really good stuff. Definitely watch Lullaby for a Princess, (The animation and song is amazing!), Strangers PMV, and The Moon Rises Animation (The Kristin Calvin version is better.)If your friends make fun of you for watching MLP, just learn to ignore it. Even if you lose one group of friends, you gain the entire worldwide brony community. I’d never talked to people in different countries before I discovered ponies, and recently-ish I did a series of collab drawings with someone who lives in Venezuela, and a little before than someone who lives in Europe. Ponies bring people together. Instead of fighting over religious differences we’re just arguing over which characters to ship together. (Soarindash forever!)If you have the time to watch 10 30-minute-ish episodes then you should definitely watch Bride of Discord. It’s VERY heavy on Fluttershy/Discord shipping (one of my favorite pairings) and also heavily references Beauty and the Beast, one of my favorite Disney movies. The songs are pretty good too.Bride of Discord Episode #1:The Moon Rises: (Song/Animation that tells the S1 E1 story from Luna’s perspective.)Lullaby for a Princess: (Tells the Celestia/Luna story from Celestia’s perspective. Beautiful song and animation that took nearly 3 years in production.)Strangers PMV: Animation, tells the story of two childhood best friends that wee separated, now years later they’re all grown up and wondering if the other even remembers or misses them.That’s all I can think of off the top of my head, there’s a lot more.Don’t be afraid to get involved. Draw some fanart, read some fanfiction. (I’m proud to say that the longest book I’ve ever read was an INCOMPLETE fanfic- technically a trilogy, but the last part of it was 1.7 million words- that was 1.9 million words total, and will probably hit 2.5 or 3 million by the time it’s finished. The author’s been writing it for 5 years.)Make a music video. Pick a favorite couple and start drawing pictures of them. Keep in mind that Putin is an ex-KGB man. He knows how to keep from leaving a trail of evidence. It is said that although he is incredibly wealthy, he doesn't keep it in his own name. When you have a bunch of oligarchs that are able to collect extortion money all across the country -- and are dependent upon him from having police services arrest or murder them -- you don't need to keep things in your own name. You can call in any favors you want at any time.Putin has managed to eliminate all of his (effective) opposition by murdering journalists, stealing the assets from companies, murder his political opponents, and quite likely was behind the murder of Moscow citizens when consolidating his power by blowing up a couple of apartment buildings and blaming it on Chechens. (The idea was that he would be the savior against these dangerous people.)Any of those murders would be enough to make him look really bad. There is a lot of circumstantial evidence out there that is documented. But Putin makes sure it is kept just "circumstantial" to keep his right-wing base happy.
