I'm almost 40 years old and my parents still try to control my life...I need advice.?
i wouldnt go to dinner. move change jobs and anything to stop them treating you like a baby.
Why is my younger sister rebelling?
So recently, my sister changed A LOT. She doesn't do anything my parents tell her to do anymore. She always invites friends over to her house, when my parents tell her not to. She does things outside of house that she always regrets when she comes home. To impress a friend one time, she jumped onto those tire-swings and instead impaled her forehead on the chain holding it up. She then made herself look like a dummy and laughed it off, even though she was bleeding from her forehead. She constantly wears makeup and low cut skirts to places where she's not supposed to. I was just like her when I was her age (12). I then got very mature and take myself very seriously. Her grades have also been slipping. She used to be a straight A student, and now she comes in the car and tells my parents that she gets C's on reports, and then says it's no big deal and that she doesn't care. Her best friend is just like that, and maybe even influences her. My parents say our personalities switched. She even asked if a boy OLDER than her could come over to the us at a party. She also is very mad that, for the first time in 12 years, she's single. She started to watch shows like Jersey Shore and 16 and Pregnant, and is starting to act horrible now. My mom stopped her from wearing a really slutty dress to a party, saying she'd look like a "hooker on the street". My sister also makes the duck faces a lot, even when she confidently walks around the hallways, wearing her training bras and her lipstick. My mom says she's going to puberty and getting hormones, but why is she rebelling. She also disobeyed my mom during a blizzard, as she stepped outside to take selfies of herself. She also likes to do things independently and alone, always. If she goes outside or does something and my parents want me to chaperone her (I'm15 and a half) she screams "get out of my life you're a loser with no friends" at me. She doesn't make the smartest decisions anymore, which goes into rebelling. She doesn't think things through, just wants to increase a good and cute reputation. I thought I'd rebel, but I guess not. Why is she doing this?
How can I tame my little brother?
My brother is 3 years old. Sometimes he has his sweet moments but other times he's a rotten kid. Whenever I try to teach him the right things he runs to my parents and tell them to hit me. But of course they don't. My older sister and my parents never seem to even try to teach him. But when he does something really bad then they get mad and will be like "why isn't anyone trying to teach him what's right and wrong". I'm 14 and ready to explode. There is this one Carl's Jr sirloin steak sandwich where the girl is trying on clothes in front of the mirror and shows her chest, yeah my brother just stares at that and when I turn off the TV he starts yelling. Help me please!! [Right now he's being a sweet kid watching Sesame Street and saying 1, 2, 3...]
OMG! my sister pisses me off to no end! help?
Ok well I had the same situation with my own sister. I know it hurts you so bad to see the children go through this. It puts alot of emotional stress on them. It also puts alot of emotional stress on you. I know i was furious to see that my sister left her boys alone to "run" to the store. When I went over to her house I always needed to feed them and change their dipers. Even bathe them! It was horrible. I used to babysit them, and take them to my house for the night or weekend to get them away from that. Their father also abused them and they are only 7months and almost 2 years old! He almost killed my sister in fron of them and I. When that happened even though I thought I could NEVER do something like this, I took the children with me to my house and had to call CPS. CPS ended up giving her an ultimatum when they finished their investigation that she takes parenting classes and the father takes anger management classes and parenting classes. If they dont do them they go back to court, and are given one more chance to straghten up and if they dont the children are placed in foster homes. Now being in the foster system myself when I was a child I know that the children are cared for greatly and are taken very good care of. But if you are going to call CPS you can tell them you are her sister and you see this everyday and it is STRICTLY confidential!!!!!!! Be strong and please do something soon because god forbide that something happens to the poor babies and they arent here anymore. Stop thinking about how telling CPS is going to affect your relationship with your sister and think about whats best for the kids. And soon. My nephew doesnt talk at all because of all the trama he went through, he is mute. It breaks my heart to hear stories like this but everything will work out. Did my mom overpunish my sister?
It all would have been avoided if your sister who is 11 did not have a foul mouth towards mom. Your sister sneaking out was wrong. Parents don't punish kids to be mean. They do this to try to raise kids who will be respectfull adults.
Help!I hate my sister!!?
Holy cow! Be happy your not an orphan. All little sisters will have their ups and downs, trust me, I have the most bratty ones (not one! Oness) ever conceived. Ps I stopped reading that after 1/4 of it. It's just a rant.
