My Minecraft Title Screen Is Messed Up On 1.6 Any Help

When I record my gameplay, why does it come out all choppy and laggy, even though my game was smooth?

There are a couple of reason why gameplay could look all choppy and laggy after recording. One possible explanation is that the recording program needs to be run on a higher setting in Task Manager to record effectively (I have to do this with OBS.) Another reason could be that your recording software does not work with your graphics card. An example that I went through was XSplit Gamecaster. Originally, it would work for every game, but then they decided to have the program work only for NVIDIA graphics cards. This was a major problem as my laptop has an AMD graphics card, so the recordings would only show a number of single frames across the whole recording. I recommend you make sure that your recording software/program are compatible with your graphics card, and if they are try raising the priority of the program to High in Task Manager. If this doesn’t improve your video quality, I recommend looking into the forums of the recording software to see if others have more concrete solutions.

Which is better? Having more RAM or faster RAM?

Depends on the application.RAM speed is very low in the list of bottlenecks you have in a system, regardless of what you are doing. If you are interested in gaming, most likely you won’t need more than 8GB of RAM. If you already have 8GB, getting more is most likely in excess, so getting a bit faster RAM will give you a performance increase, simply because more does “nothing”. Outside of numbers in absolute FPS, that has a very small real meaning, because for RAM to really matter, it means that you already have a way above average CPU and GPU.If you are doing a bit more advanced designing, photo or video editing etc, with applications that are pushing your RAM utilization to 70+ % of the available RAM, you sh should consider upgrading the capacity. With these programs, the bottleneck is again almost never the RAM speed, but the RAM capacity can be an issue and can severily hurt performance or even cause instability of the system if you start running it close to 100% RAM utilization.Once you have enough RAM for what you need, getting a faster CPU or GPU is almost always a much better investment of your money than getting faster RAM.

What is the best way to play ROBLOX on a Chromebook?

Well.Personally I don’t own a chromebook. I stick with my trusty HP.I’m answering this question because one of my friends who frequents ROBLOX uses the Chromebook.First off, you need a mouse. Playing ROBLOX on the touchpad is plain annoying. You can’t move and click at the same time, so unless you are playing an only-social game, you won’t be able to play very well.Second of all, you’ll need an ethernet cable. Well you don’t need it, but it’s highly recommended that you use ethernet. No matter how close you are to the wifi router, it’s generally very laggy, especially on a weaker non-gaming laptop like a Chromebook. Without using ethernet, you’ll find multiple people flaming and/or roasting you on the chat for lag-killing. In addition, you will not be able to play a few games, such as Phantom Forces or Galaxy Beta without ethernet on a laptop, as it is simply too laggy.Third, I recommend that you play without volume. Playing with volume on a laptop WILL glitch out the speakers, even premium ones like HP Beats Pavilion.Last but not least, GET A TOUCHSCREEN LAPTOP!! If your ROBLOX crashes, you CANNOT move the mouse. This results in you having to restart the computer— or simply tap the red X button on the upper right of the screen. Thanks for reading!Username: HyperionusStatus: Recruiting members for my new group.

What should I buy: a Mac or a Windows laptop?

Here's the comparison (I personally hate Apple for their overpriced products and software limitation so you might find my answer biased)As per your uses - 1. Internet browsingWill work great on Linux, Windows and Mac, doesn't matter muchAlthough your ISP does matters :P2. Movies and multimediaDepends on hardware Like the quality of display and resolution and speakersBut when buying windows/Linux You get more choices to choose fromYou can get better displayLaptop with good speakersBecause you've dozens of choices Mac are good too but better machines are available3. Games As I'm myself a hardcore gamerI would say "Don't #uck*** buy Mac"As you said you play basic games like CSGuess what no CS 1.6 for MacIf you wanna play CS 1.6 with friends you gotta emulate it on Mac via some windows emulation But even after emulation machine won't be able to utilize hardware up to it's potentialLinux isn't good at games either although Linux have Minecraft, Dota 2Windows is the best platform for games right now(That might be the only reason my machine is a dual boot)4. EditingCan be done on eitherAlthough windows here leaps again because of vast choices of softwares over MacHaven't tried editing on Linux so can't say anything about it5. PowerPoint itself is a Microsoft product so no discussion here6. Everyday useToday's generation is too familiar with WindowsMy personal preference is LinuxIt varies from person to personBut Linux is more open than windows (I.e. more customizable and flexible)Windows is more open than MacI'm also a student I own a dual boot rig (Linux and Windows)Use windows for gamesAnd Linux for programming and other stuff

If PC modders can make real-life graphics mods and improve a game's visuals, why can't video game developers do it with their own games from the start?

DEVs make product for masses. If modded game crashes every two hours, players are ok with it, as long as they don’t lose they saves or something similarly bad.But if a vanilla game would behave so, players would call it a junk. Negative Steam reviews, etc. Devs could be able to add certain mod funcionality without making game unstable but they cannot afford to spend time/money on it. They have strict deadlines, often after premiere team moves to other project. What’s point in creating 8k resolution for 3% of players?Few thousands people will use it, while millions will have to download much bigger game. It’s not worth to make inconvenience for masses to satisfy few, most money comes from masses.Usually they make game for consoles, than port it on PC, then just add some really heavy to run features like Nvidia Hairworks. It’s cheaper and faster that way. Also, console players see that their version isn’t worse than low settings PC one.As stated above, most players wouldn’t be able to play on highest settings, but they would watch it on YT, or Twich. Then, they would begin complaining, “why cannot they optimize game further?”“why are requirements so high?”“why PC version looks better than console one?”“why they made super good graphic for few instead of adding additional mechanics?”,which leads to negative reviews. They can sell it later, like in Fallout 4. High Resolution Texture Pack on SteamDLC that adds better graphics to the game, for those that can run it.In case of Bethesda, i think that their policy for such thing is:“Modders will create better graphic that we will anyway”While making better resolutions isn’t that bad, creating realistic faces, mimic, animations, etc. is really expensive. Not worth if your budget is limited, if fans are getting bored with series ( picture below from Mass Effect Andromed, spin-off of Mass Effect Trilogy), if you have deadlines.
