My parents want to sell my dog and cat!?

Well first of all, my kitten was free and my parents let me have her. My parents also got my brother my kitten's brother and my sister, the other litter mate. Now my parents want to get rid of all of them and we love them very, very much. The litter box is in MY room and I scoop it out, but sometimes the door gets closed to my room. So i think they went to the bathroom in the closet while my door was closed and my mom said that was the last straw that they were leaving, but if what I think is true, that isn't their fault. I love socks and she is just a kitten!!!

Now, I sold a LOT of my stuff so I could buy my puppy, Snickers. I sold my laptop, my psp, and other stuff. I raked yards, shoveled drive ways until i got 350$ and enough money for all of his stuff. I got him two months ago, and he is almost housebroken. Now that school has started my mom sais she doesnt want to have to take him out. (By the way I take him out ALL the time, even at 3-4 in the morning). But sometimes I want to go out and play with my friends, and they think he doesnt get enough time spent with him but he does! And plus he has his half-sister to play with, and my parents LOVE her because we have had her for a year. They have already put an ad for him in the trader and they HAVE TO GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE! I am to the point to if i have to, I will run away and take them with me to keep them. I am only 13 so there is not much I can do, someone help me!!! I PAID FOR HIM!!!!!!

Can my cats raise kittens that aren’t their own?

Most females in any mammalian species can raise young that aren't their own, particularly if the 'adoptive' mother is of child-bearing age. If a mother cat is lactating, she will easily adopt an orphaned kitten or kittens as her own. It can possibly be straining on her body if it is her first litter, although she will produce more milk when more is demanded. Make sure to give her extra love, treats and nutrients, like in the form of vitamins for cats... while I can't say this will work for sure, I think it doesn't hurt to try as they can be ordered online for a relatively low cost for this one time event. When you introduce the new kittens to her, giver her some good treats (try bonito flakes, they're a favorite treat among most cats) or some of her favorite wet food, so she doesn't feel they will be a threat to her survival or that of her kittens. If she's eating, she knows she will be able to feed them. It's also a good tip to wipe them down to get the other mom's scent off them. Definitely look into what's going on with the mean cat... she could be in pain and not able to be normal... even early arthritis or something. Take her to a vet to get evaluated. Make an appointment for both cats to be spayed so they don't keep having more kittens. Adopt and spay, don't shop or sell cats! Good luck.

Does petco or petsmart sell dogs and kittens??

Please...please...please don't buy a pet from a store. There are so very many animals in shelters that need a home, you would be doing a service to your community by adopting one from a shelter. Animals from pet stores are often from puppy mills which are horrible places.

Should I spend $400 dollars on a Sealpoint Himalayan kitten? I can afford it, just not sure if I should!?

The reason most shelters kittens are older is because they have to fix the kittens before going out to be adopted. Kittens are kittens for a long time, I would give a homeless kitten a good home. IF you arent going to show the cat, or make a buiness to breed it (which I dont recommend with cat over population) I WOULD not waste 400$ on a cat just cause you want a little kitten. HOLD OFF on getting one just now, Kitten season is just around the corner... wait about 3 weeks. Put your name in at the shelter looking for kittens, use the 400$ on gas and time to drive the 1 hour to the shelter and get your already fixed, and vetted super cute mix breed kitten... chances are you may even get a nice long haired seal point mix breed for less than 100$. Thats how I got mine!! I worked for a shelter and she was there... we have at least 10 to 15 seal point kittens, short and long haired in a year.

Dad wants to sell my cat?

So I have two cats, but one has started urinating outside of her litterbox. We have a proper amount of litterboxes so the vet thinks it's a UTI. My dad is very obsessed with material things and is mad she's ruining his rugs. Although we try to explain she is probably sick he wont listen and has told me if she continues he will sell her. My mom told him no but he doesnt care about what she says and says he can do what he wants. I do not want my cat to go away but im scared my dad will sell her, because he also loves money and they are expensive cats. She is also on a contract so it would be illegal for me to give them away but he doesnt believe me and says he can do whatever he wants. What should i do?! She's a very sweet cat and nobody but him wants her gone, but he does whatever he wants.
