My Neck Hurts Really Bad Right Now. What Do I Do

My neck hurts soo bad!!!?

Your muscles in your neck are tight and need to be released. Having them released before you go to the chiropractor makes for a better adjustment as well for you have removed all the pressure that causes the pain when they do your neck. Here is how to release your neck muscles:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your head. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. After 45 seconds, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
With your neck in the lowered position, replace your thumbs in under the ears and your fingers behind your head but right next to your skull this time. Press your fingers and thumbs together again and hold. Relax your body while waiting. When the muscles have all released, slowly lift your head until it’s level again, release the pressure but hold your head like that for another 30 seconds.
for best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

I have really bad neck pain?

You were right, tight neck muscles, a charlie horse. You were able to keep the muscles freed up for a while but they can get awful tight so nothing you do is helping, unless you are freeing up the muscles to release them from that pain and here's how to free up the neck muscles to do just that for you:
Neck:
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle, behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck extended (lowered) for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Why my head hurts only on my right side?

My head has been hurting very often lately. And its only on my right side; behind my ear starting from my neck to the top of my head. I had experienced this before, a couple years ago (I was about 14-15, I'm 18 now) but I thought it had something to do with my neck so I went to a chiropractor. Eventuality I stopped going, I didn't think it was helping. Then the headaches stopped being as bad & as often so I havent had headaches like this in a while. Only now I've also been experiencing dizziness.
I wear glasses/contacts. I would say my vision is pretty bad. -3.50
I'm on my phone a lot, not talking but Texting, internet etc.
Could my eating habits be a part of it? Sometimes my first meal is around 1
It's very uncomfortable, I sometimes can't even sleep & sleeping with a pillows makes it more uncomfortable when I have one of these headaches.

I cracked my neck and my shoulder hurts now?

Hi dear one. I'm a chiropractor, and an EMT.
Sounds like you strained a facet joint capsule, most likely. Your spine has 24 bones, and each bone has from 6 to 10 joints each. Each of these joints, except for the discs, has a joint capsule. These can be strained and cause problems immediately, which you have felt, but also down the line, which you haven't had it long enough to have experienced.
Getting it looked at medically at first is usually wise. Getting it looked at later, once it's sure you didn't REALLY damage it, is also wise as per your local chiropractor.
Heal quickly!

BAD neck pain, pulled a muscle 9 years ago....?

I'll keep this short as I can because I'm wondering what to do now.

I fell and pulled a muscle in my neck 9 years ago. I pulled it really bad and I couldn't feel anything for 10mins or so when I fell. I simply fell on my butt walking down a hill.

I had pain for a long time, 2-3 months.

It comes back every once in a while.

About 4-5 years ago, I had x-rays done, MRI. Couldn't find anything wrong so I got sent for Physical Therapy. Didn't help.

Now, my pain is back. Oh it hurts SOOOO bad. I can barely function right now. (It can get worse so bad I can't even move.) But anyways. My husband wants me to go back to the doctor.

Should I? I mean, what can they do? I had the xray and MRI, nothing found!

Also, my neck/spine bones seem to be pushing forward. When I had the xrays done 9 years ago, it had the curve in it. When I had the xrays 4 years ago, my neck was no longer having that curve. When I have a hump back as I get older?

Please any suggestions would be appreciated!

Tattoo work is painful. You might mitigate some of that pain by finding an artist who uses an increasingly popular rotary tattoo machine rather than a coil one. In my experience the rotary is less painful. If you’re gettingcolor, the rotary style machine seems to give better color coverage though it’s great and crisp in lines as well.I have two tattoos on my back. A 4” circular impulse one at about C6 and the other on my low mid back that is about 10” x 10” at L1 to S1.The small one only took 45 minutes and was a piece of cake. The low back one, which covers a long surgical scar was pretty intense.Of course pain is relative. I handle it fairly well.I’m scheduled to start an upper back piece that will be shoulder to shoulder and down to the mid back tattoo. I anticipate some pain especially since I sleep on my back, but tolerable. Each new tattoo is like an extension of who I am. I’m not vain about being able to tolerate tattoo work well, but I’m pleased I can.If it’s what you want to do, take an iPod to distract yourself. I meditate so I can put myself into a meditative state and rise above much of the pain.Don’t stress yourself in anticipation of the pain. It’s not really bad.
