Why does my internet slow down while I'm gaming?

I found out through extensive Googling that my problem was my CPU idle % was under 10% and as low as 3%. (I read online that it should never be below 80). If it is, that means some process is draining your CPU. You can check this by going to Utilities --> System Manager --> CPU should be selected, and at the bottom of the window it shows you the percentage of idle use).

Before I figured out the specific problem, I did all of the following: verify disk permissions, reindexing Spotlight, and resetting PRAM/NVRAM as instructed by Apple (by pressing control shift option power after turning on computer but before it starts up). No luck. Once I found out the problem was CPU usage, I tried using the purge command in Terminal (Utiltiies --> Terminal --> "purge" --> enter key) according to suggestions from other users. Still no success.

If my friend downloads a game on my pc through his steam can I then play it through my steam e.g Skyrim?

To put it simply, no. Or yes? Well… a bit of both if you bend the rules a little. What you can do is log into their account and play the game that way. You can still have the game, all of your files (saves, mods, etc…) on your computer when not logged into their account but can’t actually play the game because of the way that steam games are authenticated. Even games you install on disk are now mostly registered through steam to check the ID of the account installing it.Steam allows for a great many account sessions from different computers at any given time, a lot like your Google account for instance. The main disadvantage being that if you both want to play the game, well, you can’t at the same time.Keep in mind that steam allows for many sessions to be logged into at any given time, but that doesn’t mean active sessions. For you to play Skyrim through their steam, you would have to logged into their account, while they weren’t using it. And obviously that’s a huge pain but it is the only way you can go about doing what you mentioned in the question. So really, if your friend is okay with you using their steam account, then it should work. I don’t see any reason why it won’t.

Will Steam recognize any cracked or pirated game installed in my computer?

I have a cracked copy of skyrim (already bought the ps3 and xbox version ) ,it’s even in my steam library at this moment as a non steam game and I haven't been banned yet, so you should be good. plus I'm pretty sure that would be a breach of your privacy from steam's side if they knew what you were downloading.

Why does Hotstar say "playback stream not available" while trying to play a video?

What is the minimum internet requirements (speed, ping, data) for play online games like Pubg, CSGO, etc.?

For a competitive, first person shooter you surprisingly don't need that much internet speed to play the game, just keep in mind the initial download of the game could take ages on lower speeds. An internet speed of around 3–5mbps is sufficient for gaming, but ping is reliant on your ISP. If you aren't getting 80 ping or below, either use an ethernet cable, (if you aren't already) or call your internet service provider for assistance. And you mentioned data.If you plan on playing games regularly, and are on a plan with a data cap, you are probably going to want to strive for their biggest package you can afford. As a side not, satellite internet WILL NOT EVER work with online gaming. Your ping will be in the thousands at all times.
