How is your relationship with your parents?
yeah my relationship with my parents isnt that good either they love my brother more - im the youngest and my brother is the oldest.... he is really smart and there always talking about him to go to university and they tell everyone but they forget about me and dont tell anyone about me its like im invisible to be honest im starting to hate my parents =/
How can I convince my parents for a love marriage?
Well, this is one of the most difficult tasks in your life. If you follow the right route, you may succeed. However, there are no chances of this being confirmed as we stay in India and love marriage is still a taboo. With religion and caste system being so on top, our love and interests are often negotiated and we do settle for less.I am surrounded by multiple couples in my friend circle and most of them are living in a live-in relationship for quite sometime. Due to work, we all have settled in bangalore for more than 4 years now. So I have this very dear friend who’s in a live in relationship with her bf. Both of them are pretty good and an inspiration to the couples out there. So the lady is from the land of beaches and the guy is from mountains. Both hail from typical middle class conservative families with parents totally against a love affair.This is one crazy story I am gonna tell you guys! So the lady’s parents were pressurising her for marriage and she felt it is the time to tell her parents. She didn’t go the usual way that this guy is my bf and I wanna marry him. She knew they would never agree this way. She went home and told her parents that this guy is proposing me. I do not know what to do because I don’t know how does relationship works. But he’s my best friend and my only go to person. I feel I will be happy with him. But no hurry, I do not have feelings for him as such and shall do as you guys say. Parents were pretty happy to hear that atleast the daughter is asking them. They took their own sweet time to realise and analyse things and called her one day. Asked her to bring along the guy as they want to discuss about marriage with him. She was the happiest that day. Same technique was also used by her bf and you won’t believe how easily the parents on both sides have agreed.As parents, they also want to feel special for they have given up on everything to make us feel special. I am not saying what she lied about is absolutely correct, but this is fair as long as no one is harmed. This way, parents also feel special and cared.
I want revenge on people who hurt me in the past. When I see them happy it makes me sad and annoyed. Will taking revenge make me feel better?
“Killed my Personality”, “Murdered my Joy of Life..”I have been where you are, no I am where you are. Currently in my social life it's shit. I'm trying my best but ultimately the people trying to hurt me are starting to get into my head. I'm not happy anymore, my old personality is gone and I don't look forward to anything. My weekends I just sit and I don't want to leave my house because I have lost my will to try. I understand your pain. I wanted to hurt them too. You know, get revenge and all. In the end I am only hurting myself because I am just forcing myself back into those horrible moments where they bullied me and im not letting myself move on. You need to move on. Ignore they exist all together, try your best at getting a will to live again. That's what I'm trying to do..It's difficult. I'm not even there yet myself but we can try together? Those horrible people who hurt you and hurt me. They are unhappy in their personal life, they take out their pain on somebody else in hopes of taking our joy and filling themselves with it. It doesn't work, of course. But like an addict they try again and again, they keep hurting because it just might heal their pain. We have to forgive these people, they are broken. Find a place in your heart to forgive what they did, what they are doing and look after yourself. Look after your health, wellbeing and happiness. Once you love yourself again, you will grow to ignore them, and to not be hurt by their attempts anymore. Be happy, I wish you luckLove yourself first, then forgive
How do I tell my parents I'm making Aliyah?
I'm 17 and I will be 18 in January. I plan to make Aliyah then. I have been secretly making the arrangements for my immigration, and I was going to tell my parents a few days before I go. We are Jewish, but they don't believe in God, they are not Zionist, and they would freak out if I moved to Israel. Now I have hit a bump in the road. I need the proof of Jewishness to get the Israeli governments approval for my immigration, in order for a rabbi to sign off saying that I am Jewish, I need a few documents from my mother including a picture of her mother's Jewish gravestone, her birth certificate, and her Jewish marriage certificate. How do I talk to her to get these items and have her be okay with my Aliyah, mostly she will just be worried about how volatile that area of the world is, how do I calm her fears down? Any advice?
I'm 14 and my mom wants me to take a pregnancy test?
My mother has this crazy idea that I'm going out whenever I'm with friends and having sex and now she thinks I'm pregnant! I have four other sisters, who ALL got pregnant before 16, and now since they did it, my mother just assumes that I will too. She came up to me today and told me she wanted me to take one because she doesn't believe that I'm not having sex. I'm really not doing anything. I don't date ANYONE, I'm not ready for dating. I have a lot of guy friends, yes. But I'm just FRIENDS with them all. I'm still a virgin and she doesn't believe me. Regardless, I took it and showed her that I'm not pregnant. And she still thinks I'm having sex. How do I tell her that I'm NOT having sex or anything like that? She's so hard headed.
