My Parents Force Feed Me

Should my parents be force-feeding me?

So today my parents found out that I'm anorexic. I've been talking to a teacher and a guidance counselor about it, and it's been getting worse so they phoned my dad. He's now force-feeding me, but that makes me want to eat even LESS. I told this to him, but he's still forcing me to do this. This makes my opinion on food even worse, because now the only way I think of food is something I have to be forced to eat. I want to eat even less now. So, just a few questions. 1.) Would it be better to force-feed me, or have inpatient treatment at a hospital? ...and 2.) Should they be force-feeding me?

My parents are force feeding me?

I'm not underweight or anything, I weight about 58 kg and I'm 175 cm. I don't really eat as much junkfood as before because I am tracking my calories so I can see what nutrients I'm consuming the most, and how much animal products I eat (I am planning to turn vegan).
I recently have been loosing weight because I'm eating at 1400 kcal or so, but the only reason why I am doing this is because I want to look good in my bikini (4-5 more kg to loose). How do I get my mom to stop freaking out?

How can i feel less full? my parents force feed me..?

my parents are trying to make me gain weigh cuz they thimk im too skinny so they started force feeding me. frankly i'd rather be freakishly skinny than obese. so it started out as just adding extra stuff to meals, fats and things like extra butter or PB on PBJ's but now there making me eat the entire thing on the plate. even at restraunts, and you know how big there portions can be, like burgers bigger than your fist and fries towering over the rest. they've also been making me drink water (i dont like to drink. i used to never drink except during gym every other day) and its making me feel fuller and bloated. i'd be perfectly FINE with being force fed if i didn't feel bloated all the time. i hate it. now there threatening ot take away things when i dont eat, but i cant eat anymroe because my stomach hurts so bad. heck i'm thinking about making myself barf just ot feel empty again! they also make me have SNACKS during the day. not small ones, my snacks today were half a watermelon and 2 bowls of oatmeal. thats a fricken meal right there. what can i do to feel less bloated? i odtn exercize alot so thats outta the question.

P.S. I'm 5'5 13 years old and my rents took away my scale. the last time i weighed myself was 2 weeks ago and i was 90.6lbs. now im probably more, my body hasnt changed much except now after i eat my stomach bumps out more than it used to. but its not noticible unless i lift up my shirt ;p

Is it legal for my parents to force feed me?

Today i had an argument with my father. I'm a wrestler, and I skipped a single meal. a SINGLE MEAL. i know it isnt healthy, but it only happens once in a while when I happen to be overweight on the day of a match. I trust myself to responsibly eat when i can, and to be properly nutritionalized. However, my father forced me to eat. He didn't force the food down my throat, but he refused to let me leave the house to go to school until i ate. I just want to know if it is against AMERICAN LAW to force someone to eat food. I'm under 18, 15 years old actually. I also want evidence from the constitution or some state law site or some such. Please don't give me advice, I just want solid evidence from some legal document that I can show him. thanks

My parents force feed me, what can I do to stop them?

Ask them if, instead of eating a few large meals, you can eat several smaller meals, so you get the same amount of calories per day but you aren't ever so full that you get a stomachache.

How should I convince my parents who force feed non-veg food to me that I don't want to eat it? I don't feel like eating it and I avoid it when I am away from home.

Start preparing your own meals. If you're old enough to make a decision about what you wish to consume then you're old enough to prepare your own meals. It's time to get a few basic vegetarian cookbooks from the library. But first please educate yourself on properly balanced, nutritious foods to replace the nutrients that you will be missing out on by eliminating meat. You need to make sure that you are not going to malnourish yourself.

Why do parents force their children to eat?

This is a current struggle in my family.  In the past, we have nagged the kids to eat because we want to avoid a hunger-based meltdown, and also because we went to the effort to cook for these (joking) ingrates and they should appreciate it!  Lol.  But I've recently learned that making them eat, or coaxing them, means they are not learning their own body's hunger and fullness feelings, which contributes to childhood obesity and lifelong food issues.  So, this is the deal:  it is your job as a parent to OFFER them healthy, timely choices by putting the food on the table.  Then you are done.  It is their job to choose what they will eat, how much, etc.  If you hold strong, within a day or two of 'sorry, breakfast is over, you will have to wait for snack time' they will start eating more in the appropriate timeslots and you won't have to nag them.  So now, instead of running around like a short-order cook at each meal, I put down two choices. (For me, it's sausages and oatmeal). Usually one kid eats a sausage while the other eats oatmeal.  But occassionally they switch,  or have a bit of both.  I don't monitor it as much anymore because I provided them with the food.  It's up to them to decide to eat.  They are offered a snack 2-3 hours later...
