My Phone Says My Memory Is Full

What should I do if my phone memory is full?

1. Move apps to SD cardMost of the apps that you install from PlayStore gets installed on your phone memory. You can move most of them to SD card memory and clear up some space. But some apps like WhatsApp do not allow it. Go to Settings >> Apps and click the ON SD CARD tab. Here you can see apps that are installed on the SD CARD. There will be a tick next to it. If any app is not ticked, it is installed in Phone Memory. Just click on it and you will see an option to "Move to SD Card."This way you will free up phone memory used for the app data. 2. Clear CacheNow, there are some apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. that you cannot move to SD Card. These apps will have a lot of cache files that eat up memory. These are mostly the facebook pages, photos, Instagram photos you have browsed/liked. These are temporarily stored by the apps, so that it doesn't have to download them again when you decide to scroll down the timeline again. But do you really scroll down again and again? NO. You can delete them without losing any data. So, again go to Settings >> Apps and click on Facebook, Instagram etc and click "Clear Cache" . Most apps have cache, just check for it and clear. 3. WhatsApp Media and DatabasesWhatsApp is installed on Phone Memory by default and it saves all the media you send and receive on Phone Memory. This eats up a lot of space, if you get a lot of images and videos daily. So, go to WhatsApp folder and Phone Memory and you will find the Media and Databases folders. Read more: How To Free Up Phone Memory On Your Android Phone (Beginner's Guide)

Nokia N81 "Phone Memory Full"?

keep in mind that when you are taking pictures and storing them, storing text messages and adding ringtones to your phone you are taking up the memory. Go in and start deleting say your pictures first, send any to your email you HAVE to keep! Delete any that you dont have to have and then head for those ringtones next ... just keep looking around.
If you continue to have problems call your providers customer care and they can walk you thru additional steps.

IPhone 6 storage problem? Says memory is full?

I have a 16gb iPhone 6 and earlier today I got a message saying that the storage on my phone is almost full. Under usage settings it says I have used 12GB of storage, however under storage management, the very few apps I use, and the pictures I have, only add up to about 1.5GB. I don't have any videos, I deleted all my safari history, and text messages, and it still says my storage is full. It even tells me that I have 0 bytes available. I know this is false, and it's making it so I can't take pictures, download apps, or even update to the latest iOS because it says I don't have enough space. Anyone know what is causing this, and how to fix it?

On my kodak easyshare it says internal memory is full ? How can i save them to the memory card again?

Or something because those pictures i have on the internal memory they're the good pictures and i want them to save them on my computer. how can i save those pictures?

My memory card says its full but there are no pictures on it. Please help!?

The others are correct in trying to format the memory card with the camera first. If that fails, then time for a new memory card.

The problem is DELETING the images. That is one of the best ways to corrupt a memory card as each time you delete an image, it removes the file header but leaves the rest of the file on the card.

The FIRST thing I do with a new memory card is format it with the camera and then, here is the work flow I follow after taking photos:

1)Download the memory card content to your computer using a USB card reader
2)Verify the transfer was a success
3)Back up the files on your computer to another hard drive (or CDs)
4)Format the memory card with your camera (and not with the computer)

Do this at the end of every day that you take photos/video

ADDT'L:

Memory cards do not last forever AND constant deleting of images (instead of doing a format with the camera) can/will lead to a memory card becoming corrupted. Sometimes a format is all it takes, if not, then buy a new card.

I follow the work flow I listed above, and I have a handful of cards that are 10+ years old and work fine. I have only had 2 that died/ became defective, and I do not buy that brand any more.

My HTC freestyle says "Messages. Memory Full." ?

This happened to me too because I have this phone! It got so irritating, but the good news is, I found a way to fix it. :)
First go to your messages where all your messages would be saved at. Then push the little silver options key above the call button on the phone. A little menu will pop up and when it does, push deleted items. Once you do you'll notice the messages you thought you deleted are still there! So then push the little silver options key again and click on clear all. Then once they're cleared, you're all set! :) The problem should be fixed
