My Pokémon Emerald Team: 1) Swampert (level 43) Moves: -Dive -Take Down -Ice Beam -Surf 2) Gardevoir (level 43) Moves: -Imprison -Future Sight -Shadow Ball -Psychic 3) Aggron (level 43) Moves: -Thunder -Rock Smash -Headbutt -Iron Tail 4) Shiftry (level 43) Moves: -Cut -Faint Attack -Facade -Strength 5) Altaria (level 40) Moves: -Aerial Ace -Fly -Earthquake -Hyper Beam Also, I would like you to recommend me a good pokemon that can learn waterfall. I'm having trouble finding a Pokémon that can learn waterfall. Please help me.
What is the best team in Pokémon Emerald?
Depending on your starter spot 6 varies1st Gareevoir: Psychic, Calm Mind, Hypnosis.Last move varies a lot, can be either Shadow Ball for mirror types or Dream Eater for sustain, also Magical Leaf (can only be learned by Kirlia on FR/LG by the move reminder) or Shock Wave for never miss hits.2nd Ninjask: Iron Claw, False Swipe, Swords Dance, Baton Pass.Not much to say, build stats for baton pass and low HP as much as possible for higher capture ratios.3rd: Gyarados Twister, Bite, Trash, Earthquake,Good physical sweep, earthquake to get rid of grass and really useful on double battles.4th: the HM slave of your choice, if starter isn't Swampert use Skarmory for Cut, Fly, Rock Smash and Drill Peak5th your starterif you picked Swampert make it your water HM slave + Strength for STAB damage, he hits like a truck even against resistant types, while having moves with a decent amount of PP he can clear victory road with ease.Sceptile, Leaf Blade, Toxic, Dig, Aerial Ace, all around sweeper, can switch Dig for False Swipe for capturing, in which case, keep dig on Ninjask.6th: Finally, if the starter was Sceptile use Milotic, Rest, Surf, Waterfall, Dive, same as with Swampert but with a much higher damage output.If starter was Swampert use Salamence, Dragon Breath, Crunch, Flamethrower, Fly, not much to say, favourite sweeper of gen 3I don't mention Blaziken because he alone can sweep all the way to victory road with Double Kick, Blaze Kick, Aerial Ace and Double Team, but Salamence applies here too with Iron Tail or Rock Tomb instead of Flamethrower
Evaluate my team for Pokemon Emerald?
Kay, I'm trying out different teams for the elite four. My current team is: Gardevoir L49 Blaziken L64 Hariyama L48 Sharpedo L50 Raichu L41 I know I need to level them up more. I'd like to keep my Sharpedo, Blaziken and Gardevoir though.

That's a 9.8/10 team. Why? You can definitely teach Walrein better moves. Swap Hyper Beam with Blizzard. Then replace Toxic with Hail. Blizzard's accuracy will be raised to 100% so that combo is definitely helpful for your Walrein. Also, Salamence should learn Outrage and keep giving it Persim Berries so once it gets confused it will automatically snap out of it. Cacturne's ok but it can definitely learn a better move than Ingrain such as Giga Drain. Also, Strength isn't a very strong move unless you want to use it to get around places that require it. Aggron's PERFECT. Gardevoir's great too but you should replace Imprison with Future Sight since not a lot of Pokemon learn the same moves as Gardevoir (At least the Pokemon you battle against that belong to other Trainers). And Blaziken? Peck is a no no. You're better off with either Fire Blast, Flamethrower, or Aerial Ace. Replace Slash with Flamethrower and Peck with Aerial Ace or Fire Blast. Hope this helps you come to a decision. :) I started a new game as well and my starter was Mudkip (Which is now a Marshtomp).

It's all in how a Trainer raises his Pokemon.My suggestion is that you should build up your team based on your acquired knowledge, like type advantages and special movesets, but most importantly, take into consideration the amount of dedication you've poured into training and raising any one Pokemon (like your starter, for example) and you'll see how beautifully they outperform other "better" Pokemon.To give you an example, I scored two straight victories against the Elite Four and Wallace with this party:Lv 51 - 52 SableyeLv 49 - 51 BreloomLv 50 AltariaLv 57 - 58 GlalieLv 50 VigorothLv 55 SalamenceIn this party, my "strongest" Pokemon were obviously the dragons, most notably Salamence, but Sableye, Glalie and Breloom were my match-winners because I knew how to use their abilities to my advantage against the Elite Four's strategies.

First of all, it is important for you to choose a good starter. Basically, as I have seen with many pokémon fanatics (I am one too), starters hold a sentimental value to trainers so they do bit remove it from party anytime.Then you must know all types Elite Four uses (I am not considering Gym Leaders because they are fairly easy with few hours of training) and make your team accordingly..Choosing dual types is must to balance out your team or you will be defeated easily..Also, dragon type have a fair advantage because there is no Fairy type pokémon in game!!Back when I played Emerald, all pokémon in my party team were between 60-65 level (mind you, I had trained very hard)My team was-SwampertGardevoirCameruptSalamence (trading)RaichuSkarmoryI hope you have enough sense for an efficient moveset!!
