My Pubes Are Always Smelling /do I Have An Infection /how Do I Get Treatment

My pubic area smells disgusting. What can I do?

I suggest you just shave it all off, and then scrub the shaved area, your penis and balls really well with a soapy washcloth in the shower, do this everyday. The reason why you are experiencing this is because you haven't been cleaning the area regularly.
Now, when it comes to the feces smell, chances are you aren't cleaning yourself well after pooping. I'd suggest using baby wipes to clean the area after each time, they are gentle on the area, and will really clean you well, better than toilet paper, and finish off with the toilet paper, because a damp area encourages bacteria to grow.
After washing your privates, make sure to pat dry the area with a towel, because dampness, again, encourages bacteria to grow.

You can continue to shave the area, or just trim it every week to maintain the level of cleanliness, wild pubic hair when not taken care of, can lead to infections if you don't clean it regularly.

How long does it take for a tooth infection to return after taking antibiotics to resolve before you get a root canal? Do I have a little time before the infection comes back?

There’s no real time frame, different for everyone. It varies on:The initial diagnosis.Severity of infection and extent of abscess.Your immune system.Patient compliance to recommended treatment.Of course, we don’t like to say it, but clinical decision making skills and judgement of the dentist, including their technical skill in management of endodontic infections. If you don’t treat the cause, sometimes no amount of antibiotic or painkiller will help. If the abscess is large, merely opening, draining pus and disinfecting the tooth will not do enough. Sometimes you have to incise the area above the abscess and suture a drain and leave it got a few days. Antibiotics without the above may not do enough. Antibiotics only help prevent systemic spread of infection, but there comes a point when antibiotics without treating the source will not work.If the infection and abscess not severe, you probably don’t even need antibiotics. Your immune system should be adept at keeping the infection in check most of the time with the occasional flare up. Usually it comes and goes. Sometimes you can go many months or years before it flares up again. However, since the infection persists, the bone around the tooth continues to be destroyed and sometimes takes on a life of its own and becomes a cyst, which continues to grow and replace your bone (let’s just say there isn’t a lot of jaw thickness for a through and through lesion in severe unmanaged cases). Leaving the problem too long makes it more difficult to treat with lower prognosis and less predictability. A month or two probably won’t make a huge difference, but just don’t leave it for many months.

Why do i always smell down there?

well my best guess is yes you do have an infection somewhere or you have a drinking problem or smoke. but there are other factors like diet (meaning what you eat) what you in take is what you expell. just try otc products and some girls just go through this problem for awhile and it goes away in time. tampons help but they MUST be changed often and only use them when you need to! otherwise let your body breath. or just call your doc. if you have feelings of concern. and are you sexually active? there are to many what if's so go see a doc. a womans body is very complex so take care and be clean

Can a yeast infection have an odor?

Diet, health, and other factors can affect the natural fragrance, which should still not smell foul. It’s neither safe nor healthy to attempt to eliminate the vagina’s scent. In fact, doing so can lead to infections that cause an unpleasant odor.Great video: Yeast Infection No More (TM)Breathable cotton is the best choice for women concerned about vaginal odor. Cotton is less likely to hold moisture close to the vagina. This makes it more difficult for bacteria and other sources of odor to accumulate and produce a strong smell. There’s some evidence that other strong-smelling foods might also change the vagina’s smell. Onions, coffee, and other strong-smelling foods can alter the smell of the vagina by changing the smell of sweat and other bodily fluids. It’s also important to drink plenty of water. Remaining well-hydrated prevents bacterial overgrowth. It can also prevent sweat from smelling bad, resulting in less pronounced vaginal odor.

Do I have a vaginal infection?

Vaginal infections are usually caused by change in the pH balance of the vagina.  If it becomes more acidic, one is more prone to yeast infection, while if it becomes more basic, it leads to bacterial vaginosis.  Other causes include sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).  Usually, yeast infections tend to be thick, white, and clumpy.  BV causes a fishy smell and the discharge is yellow, gray, or green and usually watery.  Both can lead to itching.  Yeast infections can be easily treated with over the counter monistat, but BV needs antibiotics in pill or cream form, prescribed by one's doctor.  Doctors can also perform other tests to rule out STDs if repeated over the counter medication does not seem to help.

Will clipping my pubes help with smell?

This could be a gluten intolerance and/or too much yeast in your body called candida. I went through almost the same thing. It comes after you pee. Your gut is where everything comes from. Could be your diet, eating gluten, and the imbalance of good and bad bacteria. Try taking probitiocs and looking into the things i attached. A juice cleanse is neccessary to rid your body of yeast and cleanse everything from the inside out. I also put the two products that work the best in my own experience on top of natual remedies like a shot of apple cider vinegar or using an anti-fungal wash.

Why is my dog always sniffing my toes?

Straightforward and simple - Top KISS: Smell of Cheese = > Sarrienne Cousland's answer. If this is a rather new behavior and you have a good communication level with your four legged friend, i.e. you understand dog-body-language and your dog ‘s in particular then it might be exactly what Annie Messeri's answer is getting at. An infection and you know what’s going on.Its for a dogs nose very easy to tell. Humans need a whole damp house to recognize the smell of too much fungus.Easy as to find out: wash your feet with/in vinegar - ev, diluted as you like and for 10min. or more twice a day. Rub some bicarb of soda in water over them well after the vinegar soak to make sure.If the dog looses interest in your feet - . . . You will have to get a new engraved heart on its collar. With contact ph# on the back, name of your dog on the front but now with MD to it. Your best friend outperformed medicine by a HUGE factor.I absolutely do not understand why podiatrists and manicures do not have a diagnostic dog at hand. (If its a Labrador you get a real Lab-test done :)This is a very (over-complete) info-package on fungus and about a dozen other treatment options. (I’d combine a few of them and they are all non-toxic and by far better/effective than ‘medical treatment’:Japanese-Toenail-Fungus-Code.pdf where some examples seem really over the top, but they are not, they just don’t happen often. The common thing is a few discolored toe &or fingernails where then at last the immune system can hold it for quite a long time at that level. But once it’s visible it will never go away without doing something.Wishing You happy feet,WBtw. As with many things the lie is in the label: There is nothing Japanese about Tea Tree Oil, - it’s Australian, but all the ingredients/means are what belongs into the first aid cabinet at home (like mine), some are tried, tested and well documented for over 5000 years and are from all over the world. The medical means cannot ever work as they are too specific and kill off only the main culprit of the infection - understanding bio-films medically is only in the beginning and for effective treatment: relax and give it a few 100 years.

Do yeast infections cause a fishy odor?

Vaginitis is an irritation and/or inflammation of the vagina characterized by discharge, irritation and/or itching. The cause of vaginitis cannot be determined solely on the basis of symptoms or a physical examination. Laboratory tests are required for a correct diagnosis. Many effective drugs are available for treating vaginal infections and accompanying vaginitis.Try this: Yeast Infection No More (TM)Diagnosis - A health care worker can examine a sample of vaginal fluid under a microscope, either stained or in special lighting, to detect the presence of the organisms associated with BV. They can make a diagnosis based on the absence of lactobacilli, the presence of numerous clue cells (cells from the vaginal lining that are coated with BV organisms), a fishy odor and decreased acidity or change in pH of vaginal fluid.Symptoms - Trichomoniasis, like many other STDs, often occurs without any symptoms. Men almost never have symptoms. When women have symptoms, they usually appear within five to 28 days of exposure. The symptoms in women include a heavy, yellow-green or gray vaginal discharge with a strong odor, discomfort during intercourse and painful urination. Irritation and itching of the female genital area and, on rare occasions, lower abdominal pain also can be present.Treatment - Various antifungal vaginal medications are available to treat yeast infection. Women can buy antifungal creams, tablets, or suppositories (butoconazole, miconazole, clotrimazole and tioconazole) over the counter for use in the vagina. But because BV, trichomoniasis and yeast infection are difficult to distinguish on the basis of symptoms alone, a woman with vaginal symptoms should see her physician for an accurate diagnosis before using these products.
