My Samsung Galaxy S2 Will Not Start Up

What should I do if my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 won't turn on?

Firstly, Try leaving it for charging for atleast 5 hours. Sometimes, the battery needs that to wake up. Then, Try holding down the power button for 10+ seconds, see if that will get it to power cycle. If that does not work, then try resetting - Press the Power and the Volume Up button together till the device displays the start-up logo.Once the logo is displayed, release the buttons and wait till the device enters the Android system recovery mode.On the displayed screen, use Volume Down button to go to the wipe data/factory reset option (Volume Up and Volume Down buttons are used to highlight the displayed options on the Android system recovery screen).Once the option is highlighted, press the Power button to select the option. (Pressing the Power button in Android system recovery mode selects the highlighted option.)On the next screen, press the Volume Down button multiple times till the Yes -- delete all user data option is highlighted.Press the Power button to hard reset the Samsung tablet device while clearing the dalvik cache along with the process. That should help, but YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA.

My Samsung Galaxy Star 2 won't start up and is stuck on the model display screen. Why?

you need to boot your device in recovery mode and then do factory data reset which can help you (it helps many times).so to boot your device in recovery mode you have to press volume up button+home button+power button. press all of them at a time and when you see the boot logo release power button. this will boot your device in recovery mode.there you will see some options, use volume buttons to up and down and to choose option press home button or power button( i dont know about your device which button does that so try both of them separately).if your device is not booting in recovery mode. google this "how to boot (device name) in recovery mode" then you will see the steps of doing that. different models have different process for recovery.volume up + home+ power buttonvolume down+ home+ power buttonpress both volume rockers + home + powerso these are the methods try them out or google that text.

Should I Get A IPhone 4s Or Samsung Galaxy S2?

Since I'm in the same boat and actually just got the Galaxy S2 yesterday. I will tell you my experience.

The pros: The phone is amazing! It's got everything you would want. It takes a little bit of getting used to though, but it didn't take me too long.

The cons: If you've used Itunes for music before, you're in for a big hassel of getting all your music on to the new phone, trust me, I've stayed up until just now trying to find the best program to do it all. I thought I found it in isyncr, but there has been conflicts to connect the phone to my PC. Anyway, long story short, the program Kies is STUPID! It doesn't even work. I was lucky I got my contacts transferred over at Best Buy or else, that would be time consuming too.

Another con is if you've used IOS, I still feel that the text messaging and typing tool of the IOS is Wayyyyy better than anything Android although the "Talk to text" is a huge plus.

So coming from being an IPhone user, I never thought about the accessories that I would want to consider like getting a case, screen protector, and car charger (trust me, the battery life isn't as good as IPhone). Having all that already for IPhone, I realize how much money I could save on accessories. I'm considering ordering the IPhone 4S and taking this one back.

I hope I don't regret that decision, but I have a feeling the IPhone 4S is going to be way better than my initial thought at the announcement.

Anyway, hope that helps you. I'm leaning on IPhone 4S. And if I get that, at least I get a free headphone lol... The Galaxy S2 only came with the charger.

Good luck on your decision.

What is your review of Samsung Galaxy S II?

★Don't buyI bought this cell last year in September when it was just released in India for Rs. 16000 (The price is around 8k now). -Hangs a lot: the phone hangs frequently. It is really frustrating and irritating when you are trying to open your Google maps to go to a place and it hangs up and you have no other option left than to restart it. Many times it happens that I am getting a call, I can hear the sound but on the screen I don't anything to accept it. The screen just freezes. And then when you restart the missed call isn't even in the call logs.-Camera: Has a 5MP camera and the only good thing about this phone. Gives clear picture. I have shot pretty awesome pictures with this cell, that is when the camera application opens up. (takes about 10 second to fully open up and be operational)

How can I transfer data from Samsung S2/S3 to Galaxy J7?

You can transfer data from Samsung S2/S3 to Galaxy J7 by using phone transfer program like this:Step 1. Connecting the two smartphonesBridge your Samsung Galaxy S2/S3 and your new Samsung galaxy J7 together with the help of a USB device connected to a computer, where you have the Coolmuster Mobile Transfer downloaded and installed.Step 2: Selecting what you want to transferYou don't have to necessarily move everything from one phone to another if you don't want to. For example, if you want to transfer only a few songs, check the box next to music, and from the list below, tick off the songs you want to transfer. Same goes for contacts, video and the other options.Step 3. Start the transfer processClick the "Start Copy" button to begin the data transfer from your old Samsung phone to your new Samsung Galaxy J7. Your data will get transferred in an instant!

Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 SM-T710 stuck in boot loop after trying to root it using Odin. Help?

From this site, I followed the instructions.

http://androidcentral.us/2015/10/how-to-root-galaxy-tab-s2-sm-t810-sm-t710-sm-t715/

I don't know if I messed up somewhere.

Here's what I tried to do to resolve the problem.

1. Wiped cache partition
2. Reset to factory settings/wiped data
3. Turned off device for 5-10 minutes

All did not work.

Some sites say to wipe dalvik cache by going to advanced settings in recovery but I can't find any option. I am not an expert in Androids so don't be too technical. What else should I do...?

Why doesn't my Samsung Galaxy s2 have no sim card slot?

Well on GS2s the SIM tray is located near the battery. You'd have to take off the back & you should be able to see it there. Weirdly when I looked up that model code you provided the only result is this question.

Its possible as well that you have a CDMA version of the phone, which will not use SIM cards.

Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830 stuck on boot up screen, help?!?

i guess you have bricked your phone or something internal problem. its better if you claim your warranty or meet up a phone technician.

Step 1: Turning Off Your Phone
Because you have a bricked phone, you can't just hold the power button. So if your phone is not already off then you're going to want to take out the battery.
Step 2: Preparing Our SD card
Take out your SD card and put it into an SD card reader or some type of other adapter so that we can view it from our computer. If you cannot view the SD card on your computer then you're going to need a new SD card.
Download DREAIMG-RC29.zip and unzip the file.
Reformat the SD card to FAT32 and copy the DREAIMG.nbh onto it.
Safely eject the SD card.
Put the SD card into your device.
Step 3: Wipe The Phone
Hold home and press the power button.
When you see the image of an ! mark, open your keyboard and press Alt + L if you cannot see any command options.
Do a factory reset by pressing Alt + W or just using the trackball.
When the reset is done, go ahead and hold the camera button and select the reboot system now option with your trackball.
Step 4: Flashing The Phone
Once the grey screen pops up (or the white screen if your phone was rooted with JesusFreke) it will ask you to hit a button to start installing the image…press that button. DO NOT DO ANYTHING TO STOP THIS PROCCESS. It will take about 8-12 minutes.
When the image has completed the installation (it will say completed), go ahead and press the green, red, and menu buttons at the same time. The phone will reboot.

And your done! Your phone is now unbricked!.

ifts something else meet a phone repair center.
good luck
